Really enjoyed it fnaf was a great movie. Clean, fast, and lots of cool people. The bathroom was very clean.

I actually really love coming to this theater and will go out of my way to do so if there's a new action or horror movie coming out. The reason is because they have an awesome new Dolby theater that will place the most popular movie (at the time) and the surround sound/recliner seating makes the experience that much better. They have had some trouble over the past few months to a year just due to the fact there has been a ton of remodeling going on there. They are slowly adding in a ton of improvements and I'm excited to see the new bar open up when it's complete. All in all I think this place will be even better once the signs of construction disappear! read more

This theater used to be nice, but what a disaster it is now. Dirty, most bathrooms stalls weren't flushed, hard to find an employee, ripped seats, spilled drinks everywhere and looked like an abandoned haunted house. Last minute decision to see the new Alien movie...big mistake! No good qualities. Poor management and oversight. This place should be closed during construction. Unsafe floors, debris everywhere, construction materials in every corner, and DUST. The hallway was lined with old seats, popcorn machines, and equipment. The restroom was a hot pissy/dirty/nasty mess. I'd rather go at 711 or the nearest tree (just kidding). Urine on the floor, no toilet paper, trash everywhere. Just nasty! DEAL BREAKER! Umm, code/health dept enforcement? The sound in the Imax theater was so loud, it was deafening. The theater had a stinky basement like smell. Oh, and the squeaky seats were so annoying. The prices are ridiculous...over $19 for chicken tenders, fries, and a drink. Really!? The concession stand is SO slow! Great to see young people working, but they are baffled when there are no pretzel nuggets or nachos. The lines are long, slow, and disorganized. If you are over 30, go to Towson or stay home. Comcast On Demand. Theater full raucous of kids, tweens, and teens. This is not a date night theater. Parking...don't be cute and wear heels because you're in store for a walk during peak hours. Gen X and older drivers make for an interesting driving/parking experience. This area is jam packed with folks from 1-100 and it's getting worse. Will we return? NO!!! read more

I was a recent customer at one of your theaters this passed Saturday to see Shazam. I went with my parents who are in the late 60's, senior citizens. My mother had rested her feet on the seat in front of her, in which nobody was seated. The lady in front began to loudly curse at my mother and repeatedly insulted her. She even started curse out loud making a scene in front of all of the patrons of the theater. She then got up out of her chair and threatened to beat up my 67 year old mother. At this point I got up to tell someone in security about the incident. When I went outside to inform someone of what happened, I was merely told to change my seat. No one was thrown out of the theater or arrested. This lady came out of the theater and proceeded to curse at me while speaking to the management. A Mr. Saunders and the security did nothing. I spent $60 to sit behind a woman that threatened my parents and could not enjoy the movie, while I purchased refreshments and she brought her own food she snuck into the theater. I can't believe that Mr. Saunders wanted me and my senior citizen parents to move instead of dealing with the woman that actually did something wrong. I did the adult thing and reported the incident and was told I would receive passes for the movie. Why would I ever come back to this location? Why would I ever go to another amc theater again?!? At the end of the movie there was no Mr. Saunders to be found. read more

I Went to see a movie with my daughter at 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon. There were only 4 employees, 2 checking tickets as you went back to your theater and 2 working the concession stand. That's it for a Sunday afternoon?? You have to get your own ticket, no one working the ticket counter any more. You have to order your own food, no one takes your order any more and then wait 20 minutes for the 2 employees to take care of getting all the of orders. I was only getting a large popcorn and large drink cup! A couple of the drink dispensers were not working and 3 out of 4 butter dispensers were out/not working and the 4th was almost empty. Probably because no employees to take care of upkeep of drink and butter dispensers! We spent about $40 for 2 tickets and 1 popcorn and 1 drink. For $40 service should be better. HIRE MORE STAFF OR LOWER THE PRICES SINCE I HAVE TO DO THE WORK!! read more

I love this theater! I come to this theater almost exclusively to see new movies and always have a great experience. The seats are comfortable & recline and are generally clean (for a movie theater). This is a little more expensive than some of the other area theaters, but it's worth the extra cost. Also, the location is ideal with lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. This location has been struggling since they reopened after the pandemic hit. AMC needs to stop pinching pennies and hire more workers. The lines waiting to order snacks were crazy long but not longer than the amount of people that had already ordered ad were waiting for their food and drinks. The theaters are always dirty. I can understand that patrons also need to do their parts and clean up after themselves but having maybe 3 people responsible for cleaning 18 theaters is crazy. The trashcans were overflowing before our movie even began. Do better AMC... you charge over $20 a ticket for some movies, you can afford to hire more people. read more

I am very disappointed in this visit and this isn't the first time but I have to write about this one. I went to a matinee and the tickets were pretty expensive, 17 bucks each to be exact, to enter a filthy iMax theater area with dirty food covered seats and floors. Looks like it was never cleaned with fresh stains and could have had bed bugs. The nasty cloth Seats don't recline either but was posted online that they do and tricked me into believing it by making me pick seats. It was also advertised That the theatre is remodeled. I beg to differ. I couldn't even complain to anyone because there was no manager there. There wasn't even anyone at the theatre entrance to confirm my online purchase or that I even belonged in there. It was a ghost town literally. After deciding to stay in the tight, dirty, stinky chair theatre because I really wanted to see the movie and paid over 30 bucks for a matinee ....I just had to find the cleanest of the dirtiest seat. And it was so uncomfortable....basically on top of each other. My date and I were miserable. So......that's not the end. My date went to get us alcohol drinks to lighten the mood. After waiting over 15 minutes some guy finally arrived. After ordering, he stated he needed to get a directions book to get a cup of wine and titos on the rocks.....that took forever. Then asked my date for two IDs because he ordered two drinks. So my date (before saying something rude and inappropriate from the dirty theatre frustration) just left. I've been to that bar before and ordered two cups of wine for myself and had no problems. I just thought it was overpriced. But Nor is there a sign that states one drink minimum per person. Before my date got back to tell me what happened, my date stopped at the bathroom, went to the stall.....only to find feces on the toilet seat! I will NEVER visit this movie theatre again and do not recommend it for anyone to go just for convenience. I'm a AMC stub member and would rather travel to Columbia AMC theatre for a clean comfortable theatre and good service. Or forget the member discount go to towson cinemark theatre and pay full price. At least they have decent matinee prices, it's Always a good experience and is remodeled with good service.....oh and free popcorn certain days and times. read more

The service is deplorable at this location. We spent 10 dollars on cold, stale, soggy popcorn. When we complained, the person we complained to told us to wait in line and refused to help us. When we finally got to the front of the line again, they replaced the popcorn without apology or refund. In the theater was a group of extremely disruptive teens- running around, taking selfies with the flash on, shouting and laughing, and cursing at people who asked them to stop. When we complained to staff, the person sent to tell them to stop took a selfie with them. That staff member then showed them where an outlet was to charge their phones. The outlet was close to the screen in the front of the theater. They sat on the stairs and continued to run back and forth to the front of the theater and play with their phones the rest of the movie. We will not be returning to this dump. read more

PROS Reclining, large seats so you aren't stuffed against the person next to you. Never have to worry about a tall person sitting in front of you because you'll have a clear view anyway. I'm an AMC Stubs member so I get to see multiple movies a month for one low price and reserve my seats through the app ahead of time without paying a service fee. Highly recommend to anyone who sees more than one movie a month! CONS Can't speak for the men's bathroom, but the women's is always disgusting. Finding one that doesn't have urine all over the seat (come on ladies are you standing up and aiming full blast from the door??) and also has toilet paper is a rare gem. Person scanning tickets usually acts like they'd rather be anywhere else (no matter who it is). I mean, you could be cleaning the dirty bathroom... I'm frugal so I don't use the concession area and can't comment on it. read more

I love how they revamped this theatre. They now we've alcoholic beverage and have premium seating. Parking can be a little tough only because it the AVENUE. The bathrooms most of the time are pretty crowded depending on what time of day. The only reason i didn't give them more stars because the box office and concession lines are always so so long. They never have enough to people to help get the lines down. I do recommend using the AMC app to get tickets it's so convenient and it's a rewards system which I love. The new theatre seats are so so comfy, they recline all the way. I'm also loving the new curfew rules they put in place. My favorite snacks/food is the flash bread chicken pizza it's worth the wait. read more

I recently attended a screening of Creed II at the AMC Loews White Marsh 16. I was very happy with my experience. They have the roomy reclining seats, the restroom was clean and well stocked, and the staff was friendly and courteous. My only complaint is that someone put too much salt on the popcorn. Although I am closer to two other AMC theaters, this is the only one near me with IMAX, so I will definitely be coming here more often. read more

I was always lukewarm on this theater. It was an okay venue, but there were other options. Especially after the Towson Cinemark opened, that theater was a way better experience. But then AMC decided to renovate this location. At first it was incremental improvements to the lobbies, concessions, etc. but what set it over the top was when they renovated the theaters! Wow. They are nice comfy seats with reclining options, pretty much on the same level of the Towson Cinemark. It's 50/50 for me between those two, you can't lose! Also, a big plus for me is they have many self service ticketing kiosks in the front and back lobbies. This makes it very easy to get your tickets quickly! read more

I've been to AMCs across the USA and this has to be one of the most confusing set ups I've seen. Disorganised entryway with no signs or anything to tell you where to go-just jumbled lines with no order. While the seats were updated recliners, they were dirty. The majority of the staff were rude and obviously didn't care or want to be there so it was a little off putting to deal with or order from. read more

I was totally blown away by this theater (in a good way). I also haven't been to the movies in maybe 2 years, and anything is awesome compared to your living room... but still, listen up! There are BIG, COMFY leather reclining chairs, the option to share an armrest or remove it, a huge selection of concessions, the place was clean, and the sound quality movie/were good. I couldn't get over how comfy and plush the seating was. They just renovated! Reduced one star because the lobby felt SO crowded - maybe the servers were slow but even to get a drink was 25min wait and people were everything. It was hard to tell who was in line, and who was waiting around. I did go on a Saturday night. read more

This was my first time coming to this theater since college (so almost 15 yrs), and we came to see Ghost In The Shell in the IMAX theater. This theater is kind of confusing because there are two entrances on opposite sides, we came in from the parking lot which seemed like the "main" entrance, but this is actually the back and you have to go around to find the concession stand. Concession stand is automated (like Wawa or similar) where you go to a big touchscreen and order, then someone in the back makes it, brings it out and calls your number. I was worried this would be slow, but it came out pretty quickly. You get your own drink in one of those machines with a million drink varieties and flavors. Most of the flavors were out, but the soda was fine. Popcorn was decent enough. As I said above, we came for the IMAX and that's the only theater I've seen. I hope the others have been renovated some time in the last decade, but the IMAX sure hasn't been. It probably has the same seats as last time I was here ~15 years ago. it's cramped and all the seats are old and beat-up. The screen and sound was fine, but they really need to update the seating in this theater. Overall we had an acceptable experience, but this theater is lagging WAY behind all the other theaters in the area which upgraded to much nicer seats and theater experience years ago. read more

The only reason they get two stars is because most of my experiences have been positive. BUT I went and saw a movie tonight and had a horrible experience. This is verbatim what I submitted to AMC as far as a complaint: "My boyfriend and I bought tickets for Solo tonight. I am contacting you to complain about our experience. We have frequented AMC and even bought the Premiere membership. During our movie there were several disruptive teenagers. When I say disruptive, they were SEVERELY disruptive. They answered phone calls, took selfies with flash, talked constantly (in normal voices, not even quiet voices) and at one point even got up and RAN out of the theater because apparently their friend was in a fight and they needed to go?All while everyone else is trying to watch the movie. My boyfriend and I took time to buy tickets in advance so we could pick our seats. I can't vouch whether these teens had tickets or not, but they definitely weren't in their assigned ticket seats because they kept moving around. We were so annoyed by their behavior that we got up out of our seats that we picked out and moved seats. THEN when we moved seats there was a toddler who kept screaming incessantly. I did not enjoy the movie AT ALL because of all these behaviors and frankly it was ridiculous. I understand that AMC can not control their behavior, however, this entire time there was not a single staff member who ever walked into the theater. I am sure other customers had just as bad of an experience as I did because they affected the whole theater. Something needs to be done as far as monitoring within the theaters because I left the theater saying that I would not come back on a weekend. OUTDATED EXTREMELY FUNKY BATHROOMS. The bathrooms smell like someone peed all over the floor, sometimes there's trash bags over the toilets. Needs some updating ASAP. The popcorn is always stale every time we come, they pop it in the back and transfer it to the front by a yellow TRASHBAG!! DO NOT EAT FROM THE KETCHUP OR MUSTARD STATION it's literally mold growing around the spouts where it comes out. They need to throw them away before someone gets a bacterial infection. It surprise me that this location White Marsh stays dirty. From the bathrooms to the staff that's serving the concession stand food. I'm not a fan, I have stop buying the concession stand food between staff unable to get the order right to the slow wait for the food...you just might miss the first 10 minutes of your show. You ask why do I even bother going...In a nutshell I attend a lot of free advance screened movies...I have to go where its screened. So, no I don't know how their ticketing is or if purchasing the tickets online speeds things along. Came here 3 times. Twice to watch a movie in the IMAX 3D theatre and once in the Dolby Cinema theatre. The IMAX theatre is pretty grimy. My assigned seat was completely broken and I was falling into the legs of the person behind me. The Dolby cinema theatre is decent and at least has the nicer seats. The women's bathroom reminds me of bathrooms at airports with the level of cleanliness. All in all, it was a decent experience... not the best theatre I've been in but good enough to watch what I want to watch and head out. read more

Well I saw the reviews on reclining leather seats but we are in cloth ones for the imax! Theater 5 was musty smelling and the trash cans were full no one was cleaning and walking by the other rooms we just as musty with full trash cans! At almost 15$ a ticket I would expect better. Went to see King Kong vs Godzilla tonight. Not a bad movie but SOCIAL DISTANCING IS NOT ENFORCED. As soon as the lights dimmed half the theater moved into one row, my row. Apparently they were all together and could not bear to be 6 feet apart for 2 hours. So my safe three seats away turned into one away from the next person. Saw people out in the lobby walking around with no masks at all. Security not doing anything, employees not doing anything. I think I may not go back to the movies for a while. read more

The most disgusting movie theater I have ever been in. No one taking tickets. When asked information was told to.pull up ticket on phone and he scanned. He didnt tell me what theater. When i asked about seating he said "Its on you tickets somewhere" then went back to his conversation with other employee. Seats still had popcorn in them as well as the floors. I was afraid to put my head on the seats. After movie seats wouldn't work to put leg rest down and bathrooms were deplorable. Paper towels everywhere. Trash piled up. Dear. Lord. What the hell happened to this place?!?! Years ago this was a truly cutting edge movie theater... one of the best in the greater Baltimore area. But now, it's like the owners or management team just decided to throw in the towel and say "F**k it" - surely to squeeze out as much profit as possible while putting absolutely ZERO money back into the place. Let's start with the concessions - which have been turned into a series of "modern" touchscreen order-yourself kiosks placed around a center "kitchen"... this is literally the epitome of "looks cool but amazingly inefficient"... all while being a total joke. Seriously, there were so many people waiting in so many kiosk lines trying to order while dealing with slow, out-dated computing systems and trying to find basic food items - it was like the twilight zone. I personally just wanted to order popcorn and a soda - that's it - but I had to wait 10 minutes for 3 people to finish their kiosk orders to come up in turn... and then while actually trying to order, our kiosk shut down! We literally just decided to not order anything because we couldn't deal with it. Again, I'm certain this is just ownership trying to cut down on costs and staff wages while "hiring" absolutely terrible kiosks to do a miserable job. On a smaller note but something I still found bizarre - we paid $20+ for imax 3D movie tickets... only to receive USED gunked up 3D glasses. Like wtf?! Every other theater now gives you a pair of fresh glasses that are typically wrapped in a plastic bag... but White Marsh just said "nah, that'd cut away from profits too much, let's just keep recycling them between movies without washing them AT ALL." - disgusting. Seriously, years ago I used to come here all the time and I had no complaints. But after this last visit, I don't plan on coming back. Towson is a gazillion times better. read more

I love coming to the movies when they are free. However their condiments are over priced and some of the patrons are rude. The staff is very friendly and diligent about their job. Whenever I visit the movies I enjoy seeing the employees ready to clean the theatre once the movie is over. I would defiantly not like going into a dirty and disgusting movie. This place is horrible! Stale, cold popcorn and horrible customer service! Every time I go to this AMC the popcorn is stale and cold. I couldn't swallow it! Ironically, I am ALWAYS told they just popped it, yet I never hear a popper going in the back, and the popcorn is NEVER hot when I get it. This time (Monday night) I decided to talk to Rick, the supervisor. I think that's his name, a short, white guy with brownish colored hair. Some Supervisor! He was the rudest person I've ever met in a hospitality profession and has ZERO Customer Service skills! The young man working Sunday night with the Afro had a bad attitude, too! Rick was worse because when I explained, as nicely as I could, that I asked the young lady with the braids for freshly popped popcorn (after waiting 20 minutes to return for fresh popcorn), all I got was stale, cold inedible popcorn. It is possible that he did not know what inedible meant, but I am sure he knew what stale and cold meant. I had to spit it out. I couldn't even swallow the popcorn it was so stale! He immediately got defensive and said, "that's the way it tastes when it's just been popped." WHAT the heck?!? REALLY?!! This guy is either - well, I won't say what I really think about him, especially after he responded so rudely. His next response demonstrated even less consideration and skill in dealing with customers. He had the effrontery to yell to me me, rudely, that he's been working there for 15 years and he knows how popcorn is supposed to taste. (And I don't?) LOL! Yes, what he knows is how to get rid of old popcorn - by doing it in a way that people can't see. That popcorn could've been from the day before for all I know. Sure tasted like it. Two days ago even. They're hiding it in the back so who knows. It tastes old, stale and cold every single time I go there. They can't possibly be popping fresh popcorn throughout the day. There's no way they are popping fresh popcorn that tastes like that. Furthermore, this is NOT my first time at a movie theater or tasting popcorn. But the service? Unforgivable! I'm writing corporate about my horrible experience. I was totally verbally abused by Rick. No customer, no matter what they look like, should be subjected to that kind of verbal abuse. The young guy with the Afro even tried to beat me over to Rick once I told him why I wanted to speak to the supervisor. Before I could even walk over there, he was telling him I was complaining about the popcorn. By the time I got over there to Rick, both were standing there staring me down as if I had done something illegal or something. It was strange. They both had a serious attitude problem. And to tell a customer that he's been working there for 15 years and knows more about it than me is not the thing to say. As if I haven't been going to the movies for longer than 15 years! HUH! The nerve. As if I don't know what popcorn should taste like. Two--year-olds no what popcorn is supposed to taste like. The only experience he probably even has with the movies is working there. I am looking at things from a customer's perspective. AMC should do a better job training their servers and supervisors. And Rick's ridiculous explanation that "it was just popped so that's why it tastes that way" is more ridiculous than anything else. I guess customers are stupid. I'll give my money to Cinemark and get some fresh, hot popcorn and better service, at that. I don't trust any movie theater that hides what they're doing with popcorn behind walls where you can't see it. Other theaters don't do that so that should tell you something right there. If hiding behind walls had anything to do with COVID-19, then other theaters would be doing the same. Speaking of COVID, AMC please clean your facility better. And if you want return customers, serve better popcorn with better customer service. Train your staff. After this last experience I won't be returning anyway, but at least think about the next customer. I will never recommend this theater but I will tell about my experience because he was dead wrong. If you care about revenues you'll tell Rick not to yell at customers and tell them their wrong and they don't know what they're talking about. He doesn't have my taste buds. I should've cussed him out for talking to me that way, but I didn't want to stoop to his level. He even kept insisting he knew how to make popcorn even when I stopped talking to him and waited for my money back. He's immature and obviously not educated enough about providing a good customer experience. Pitiful! Pay your staff more and maybe you'll get a better quality staff. But who cares right? Since this theater has been remodeled my husband and I truly enjoy it. Maybe it's because we also usually go to matinees, but you can't beat 6.25 for cushy reclining seats! Bathrooms are big and clean. Awesome how White Marsh has 70mm and IMAX as well. Very convenient. read more

The AMC Loews White Marsh is a pretty okay theater - not amazing, not bad. All of the usual stuff applies here as it does in virtually every theater: the food is okay, the prices are a bit much, and the theater gets a bit dirty due to nasty patrons. Nothing really sticks out as affirmatively bad here, but nothing is affirmatively good either - it's just a run-of-the-mill sort of joint that's reasonably well run. More specifically, the screens are, to their credit, quite nice and well lit. But the bathrooms were a bit disgusting, but that might have been a fluke. I imagine it's a bit hard to police filthy customers. I'd definitely come here again, I just didn't find it ~the best experience ever~ read more

Never had a issue here at the AMC White Marsh. And now they have gone with reducing the actual cashiers with installing the automated machine where you can purchase your tickets. They are very user friendly, easy to use. And for you Rewards members, you still can swipe your card to get your benefit. read more

This theater used to be clean and one of the nicer ones in the area. Not anymore. Went last night (Saturday night) for a 9:45 showing. Walked into theater #3 about 20 minutes prior to the start of the movie. Previous movie was long gone. Walked into to trash and popcorn on the floor, nacho, popcorn and soda bottles on the seats. Didn't look like it had been cleaned for most of the day. Someone came through about 5 minutes before the movie started and swept one aisle and picked up a few things but much of the theater was still filthy. We won't be back again. We'll drive the farther distance to go to Christiana, Arundel Mills, Columbia... read more
