Have you seen the renovations at Regal Hunt Valley? AMAZING!! Each theater is newly renovated with reclining seats, snack trays and cup holders. Tons of space between aisles with separate walkways. Everything even smells fresh and clean! Excellent counter service by Kayla for tasty popcorn and a YUGE soda. This theater has had a total rework, and has a stylish, modern interior which is clean and well-lit. The staff were helpful and polite, and even costumed for the Wicked For Good release. The seats were super comfy, and they had a great range of films on offer. Concession prices were pretty standard, which was disappointing but can't be held against this location. read more

Had not been to the movies in a while. Took my daughter to see Gabby's Dollhouse. The renovations are looking great. We had already bought tickets but there was an employee to guide us with the printing process. We got snacks and Gabe was very enthusiastic and helpful. The theatre seats were so comfy. I have not been to a movie theater in over four years. You know, with Covid and the quarantining of the non-sick, go figure, there was no need to go and it was against someone's unilateral "law" to do so. Then comes 'The Jesus Revolution' a sort of biopic about evangelical firebrand Greg Laurie and the providence of God moving through him and what is now the "ok, boomer" generation. I could relate to the movie as I was influence by those in the Jesus Revolution to make my own Faith decision many years ago. Going to the movies can be contactless if you desire as you can order assigned tickets online or onsite by using their handy kiosk and pay by credit or debit. Thank goodness the concession stand still accepts cash although the pricing is traditionally high. Overall a good experience. Good staff make you feel welcome. And with six people in the theater, I felt I had my own screening room. read more

Saw Regretting You last night. The theater was filled with teenagers. They were so loud & disruptive that we couldn't hear the movie. We decided to leave early and approached management as we left. They were very apologetic and refunded our ticket price and what we paid for our food. One associate went in to see the commotion and said they would definitely have walked out. I was very impressed with management and how they handled the situation. read more

Friendly staff, ok prices, but outdated theater. I don't think I've been to a movie theater that doesn't have leather recliners in years, maybe they have other theaters with them but ours didn't. The staff was very friendly, asking my friends and I what movie we were seeing and recommending a few others. Special shout out to the gal who made my popcorn and asked if I wanted my butter layered! Very impressed. Overall, I wouldn't run back here with all the more updated theaters not much further but it was fine. read more

Such a great location! Such an outdated smelly interior. Staff could be more engaging and cordial too. Lots of residential areas and hotels with visitors to this area. What gives? With all the ongoing surrounding upgrades seems obvious the movie theater would step up! Terrible, unstable, and uncontrolled cinema environment. Me and my family went to this theater (have never been before) wanting to have a good time and see a new movie. We reserved seats days and days in advance and we went there, and were told that they switched the room the movie was playing in, and no surprise, there was people in OUR seats. We contacted manager, with full evidential proof of all 4 preordered seats (70$ btw LMAO) and he said "there's nothing I can do". Cool, no telling the people who stole someone's preordered seats to LEAVE because u had to switch the room? You're in a place of administrative power, and don't use it? Nice, never coming here again, this place has no clue what they're doing and mess up people's night with their family. I work in food service and understand when customers are unrightfully angry at someone just trying to do their job when getting paid little money. But when this specific cinema messes up people's expensive prepaid seating arrangements to spend time with family they cannot do anything because they are too scared and unqualified to simply ask people to move, therefore interrupting everyone's experience. read more

Just saw the Bob Marley movie. Movie was good. Theater is bad. Temperature like an oven. Customer service terrible. You can't get a local person on the phone. You call a 1-800 number and can't get a live person on the line. Never going back to that theater again. read more

This place is disgusting and I won't be returning until they renovate or at least start cleaning up. To charge almost the equivalent of what the new theaters are is a shame to start. We decided to go outside of our AMC box and try this place out. Let me tell you, if you appreciate great human contact type service vs overpaying for self service, this is the place to go. There was a lovely gentleman checking tickets, tons of help at consessions, and a wonderful manager who helped my husband resolve an online issue he had. You will NOT get that at AMC. This venue was very well kept and clean. To the point that I dropped some popcorn on the floor and made my son pick it up to respect the establishment. My only complaint would be the old school seating. We have grown accustomed to the big reclining loungers. But you know what, I'd rather give my money to a well managed establishment that respects and appreciates their guests. Well done Regal. read more

It's always been a pleasant experience when I visit this theater. It starts with the people at the Box Office. They are always pleasant & my most recent visit (Jan 26th @11:53am) was no different. Gone are the ropes that create order when a line is formed & I wonder how that might work out in the case of a big turn out but my experience was good. Additionally, it's ALWAYS clean and today's visit followed that norm. And immediately after my film, the staff came in ready to clean up any mess for the next showing. Regal Hunt valley has the advantage of easy-ish parking and a mall to waste time at if you are early for a show. It lacks comfy seating and curved screens seen at newer venues. read more

We have gone to this theater for several years. Staff and quality of food and cleanliness have all varied. I wanted to highlight my two most recent positive experiences. My wife and I went to see Boys in the Boat, and Ordinary Angels. I am blind, and benefit from video description, where key visual elements of the movie are described in pauses in the soundtrack. Patrons are issued a headset and receiver , over which the described video track is "broadcast." In both cases, one of the managers, Brittany set up the equipment. I've been to several theaters where staff didn't know how to set the equipment up properly. This was a nice change. Thanks, Brittany. read more

The matinee started late with almost 30 minutes of commercials (including trailers) before the actual movie started. My wife had to find a manager to get the show started. That was especially disappointing considering that the projection system is automated. The seats were $12 each and the concessions are expensive. read more

This theater is in major need of updating. Carpeting is very old and worn. You're not able to reserve seats online because they're not set up for it. The seating in the theater makes it tough for shorter people and children to see the screen which was unfortunate for us because we went to see a children's movie, with children who could barely see. One of them stopped trying and just went to sleep. For reference, they've had no trouble seeing movies in other theaters. Theater itself smelled of stale popcorn and whatever sticky condiments and drinks were left over from shows past. Should have been a clue when it was the only theater in town not sold out on opening day. This is a last resort stop. read more

For this theater to need an extreme makeover, the nerve of them to be so expensive. $8 for a small popcorn is ridiculous. Not to mention 13.75 for a movie ticket that starts at 11 am. I rate this experience a 0 out of 10. My sister and I went to see the little mermaid. She is autistic. We went to the bathroom as we were returning we were stopped by a man(l think his name was Mark). He asked if we had tickets, I told him we were returning from the bathroom. Keep in mind one of my sister's "symptoms" is laughing uncontrollably. As we were returning to ours seats the man followed us and asked us to come out to the hallway and asked again to see our ticket. I had to call my mom (who is also disabled) to show him our tickets. This was a hassle and we did not receive an apology. Will NOT be returning, I hope he is embarrassed. read more

No issue with staff, really, but they are more expensive than other places, have old seats, search bags for food (they say it's for security, lololol), and have people come around during the show with an annoying orange light and check on people to make sure they are following the rules. This theater needs a serious facelift. The entire town center is amazing, except for the movie theater. I felt like I was back in the 80's or 90's when I went to see a movie here. The other theaters in the area have all gotten facelifts. New leather reclining seats definitely make a difference. read more

I like regal theater's and have an annual pass to them. But this particular location is in need of several upgrades. They have managed to put in the bare minimum stadium seating but it's crowded and the chairs are not fully reclineable nor wide and comfortable. But there is lots of good parking and several restaurants nearby to allow for a date night. read more

So I am a huge fan of Regal!!! Always my go to movie theater!!! Always has great rewards and usually clean! So I am come into the local movie theater in Hunt Valley! I'm in town for work from California. Walk in and Benjamin greeted us! Super chill guy! Polite and friendly! He just forgot to ask if we had a regal rewards account, but his chillness totally made up for it. No my entire visit changed when I walked up to the snack bar! We walk up and stand there waiting while the girl that is supposed to be helping is in a full blown conversation/ flirting session with some guy that's just standing there. Not sure if she was an employee or manager. She didn't have the regal polo but just a black button down! There is two people in front of me and we stand there for about 5 minutes before the guy in front of me waves her down. She rolls her eyes and walks over. Helps the guy in front of me and then walks back to flirting with the guy that's just standing there the whole time! So here we go! I finally get her attention (she literally 5 feet away) she just walk up and stairs at me! So I decide to speak first and order an icee and Kit Kats! She rolls her eyes and rings me in while another girl is pouring my icee! Like the only thing she has to do is ring me in! I didn't understand the attitude. So I get my icee she charges me and walk away (back to the boy)! I then ask her where are my kit kats! SHE LITERALLY TOLD ME "THEYRE ON THE RACK! GRAB THEM!!" I'm not a complete jerk review my yelps! I received a gift card for Regal Cinema and decided to come here to watch the 245pm show for Aquaman. When I pulled up, I was glad that it was surrounded by a mall just in case I needed to shoot the breeze. Interestingly, parking was pretty tough. After circling a couple times, I was able to get a decent spot. Looking at the building I felt like I had warped to the 90s. It was my childhood all over again, but I thought maybe they had updated the interior. Inside there was one employee servicing one long line of people for tickets. I was concerned about missing the movie so I went to the automated kiosk (a sign of technology). I chose Aquaman 245pm show, clicked on Gift Card for payment, but the slide machine for the card did not work. I went to the second kiosk and was rejected again. Lol. I ended up back in the line as it moved very slow. I was unsure why no one came to help the young man. As soon as I get to the front of the line, of course, someone else comes to open another line. Lol. I was just glad to see them. There was a short line at concessions so I bought the movie pack which is a small popcorn, small drink, and fruit snacks for $7. I was cool with this because I love the small portion size which prevents overindulgence. There was a real ticket taker who asked to search my bag. That was interesting but understandable. The theater is NOT updated. It looked exactly like the theater where Back to the Future premiered. I was pretty shocked and amused, but also had a sense of nostalgia. My biggest challenge was the lack of slope in seating. Seeing the screen was a little work with the people sitting in front of me. If you are looking for a 90s feel, this is your spot but know it's not 90s prices. I don't intend on coming back. I'd rather pay for the movie experience of surround sound and reclining seats. read more

Between the non existent cushions and the military style training seats I probably shifted as many times as there are poses in a yoga class. I'm all for recycling but I'm not really interested in drinking someone's leftover drink courteously left for me in the cup holder. That plus all the popcorn and candy boxes on the floor and seats, I must have missed out on a pretty good food fight. Can't complain about the price, 50% off on Tuesday's but the theater experience was far from ideal. They need to go ahead and upgrade this place IMO. Super uncomfortable. Omg this was my 1st and last time visiting this theatre! I'll just stick to ordering my tickets at whitemarsh early so they won't sell out. Wanted to se tag so bad that by the time I got to whitemarsh it had sold out. So me and my fiancé drove 27 minutes for this theater. The seats were so itchy i had to keep smacking my self. I'm glad that it wasn't reserved seating because I relocated 3 times! The whole theater smelled like feet and mold. Meh... This is your classic suburban theater. There's decent amount of parking in the back, not too much in the front. There's a decent number of movie times and showings. It's conveniently located in a suburban mall complex. The seats aren't the best. read more

This Regal is just your basic movie theater. It's a little older and it feels that way when you walk in, but it has everything you need. BF prefers this theater to the new Cinemark in Towson because of the Regal Rewards program. We almost always go on Tuesday evenings- discount day! Tickets are around $7 on Tuesdays. If you are a regal club member you also get half price popcorn! An easy way for a cheaper date night. The concession line often moves very slowly. The theaters are pretty clean. The seats are nothing to write home about but pretty comfy! If you're looking for more of a ritzy experience then head to Towson, but Regal is perfect for a casual date night or outing with the family! read more

Wow, Regal Cinemas Hunt Valley. You REALLY need to step up your game. A movie here costs $2 MORE than the AMC White Marsh, which is newly remodeled with recliners. After seeing the last 3 movies in the comfortable recliners, the seating here is painful and outdated. The movie I wanted to see wasn't playing anywhere else tonight. And boy, am I sorry I didn't just wait until the weekend to see it at White Marsh. read more
