Warehouse Cinemas Rotunda has quickly become one of my favorite movie theaters in the Baltimore area. I've visited multiple times recently and every experience has been great. I recently saw Michael with my mom and brothers on a Saturday, and I've also been back on Wednesday nights to see I Love Boosters and Toy Story 5. One of the best things about Warehouse Cinemas is their Wednesday special--movies are just $8, and many food items are also $8. It's an affordable way to enjoy a night out, whether you're planning a family outing, catching up with friends, or simply treating yourself to a solo movie night. The theater has a fun atmosphere with themed décor and movie props that make the experience feel more special than your average cinema. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and everything has been clean and well organized. Don't skip the concessions! I tried the s'mores popcorn, and it was a fun twist on traditional movie snacks. Pair it with an Icee, sit back, and enjoy the show. Upscale movie theater with a full bar, food options, and luxurious viewing experience. Came here with a friend to see Backrooms and loved it! I decided to try a cocktail, and it was reasonably priced. Very similar to what you would get in a restaurant, and it was pretty strong too! I got an orange crush (Baltimore classic) and it came with whipped cream on top, it felt like a whole dessert. They also have an entire wall of draft beers which seemed really cool, I will definitely try this when I come back. They have a ton of food options too, you can get a full meal here if you want. The theater itself is pretty small, and the seats are super comfortable. They are leather and recline, and also have the option to be heated, which is perfect for a chilly theater. The day I came here to watch Backrooms there were a ton of teens, and everybody was talking over the movie which kinda sucked. At some points I couldn't hear the movie over the audience. Maybe I just got unlucky with the time I decided to go. In general, if you're looking for a more classy and extravagant movie-going experience, this is the spot to be in Baltimore! read more

I use to frequent this theater when it was Cinebistro so when my aunt invited me and my kids to a movie at Warehouse I was excited to see the space with this new concept. The layout is almost identical with the exception of the beer wall and window to pick up food. I didn't do the beer sampling but they do offer light bites in addition to the typical concession offering, so I gave their pepperoni flat bread a try and the kids split the large popcorn and drink combo. The flat bread was great and prices were reasonable. The salt butter drinks are DIY (a plus to us) and the theaters were clean and comfy with reclining seats. read more

This truly reminds me of a Alamo Drafthouse type theatre. There isn't waitstaff that brings your food or actual tables, but it is super close. The theatre we were in held only 79 people, which is definitely an intimate experience. The food types and pricing was very good. We just got a large popcorn and large drink, but we could have gotten alcohol by the ounce, sandwiches, platters, desserts, and not just the standard fare at a regular movie theatre. In addition, the seats were super comfortable, they were heated, you could lay flat if you wanted to and there was a moveable, large tray table in front and to the side of you. I can't wait to come back. I'm relatively new to the area and this will be my choice move theatre now and in the future. Highly recommend seeing a film here. read more

Been trying to get to Warehouse for a while but i finally treated myself to a solo movie date to see Wicked for Good. Of course I came on a Tuesday because movie tickets are $7 on Tuesdays. Parking is super easy because there is a garage with 8 levels and parking is free up to 4 hrs. They have a kitchen as well as a concession stand and a bar. I ordered some Wicked-themed treats: Defying Funnel Cake Fries and a Wicked Witch cocktail. The funnel cake fries were ok. I felt like the strawberry icing made them overly sweet. I also felt they were overpriced at $11. The cocktail was very refreshing and delicious and created a nice mellow buzz. The theater lobby, bathroom, and auditorium were very clean. The reclining chairs are very comfortable and I accidentally discovered they were heated seats. My only gripe with the chairs is the trays were adjustable so you food would be closer to you while recliner. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the movies and will definitely be back. read more

Went recently to see a movie on a Tuesday, which is a great deal since tickets are $7 all day. We arrived a little early to have a drink in their taproom before the movie started. The taproom is pour your own beer style; you get a card and can try multiple options (about 40 I believe). They have a variety of food along with your usual movie theater concessions. We tried their hush puppy mini dogs and those were pretty good. Of course we got popcorn, always a good decision. The theater seats are very comfy. I had a pleasant and satisfying experience! Ordered tickets online; which was super easy. The challenge started after arriving at the theater and deciding what food to order. They have an expansive menu. The workers were nice and patient while I decided what to order. After ordering at the main counter you go to another area on the side for food pick. It didn't take that long for food to be ready. I liked that there is someone actually checking tickets on the main hallway of actual theaters. Few things, this theater was amazing, but there are a few missteps with the flow of the place and pricing. I will get into that further into the review. I appreciated that you can purchase your ticket and select your seat online ahead of time. That took a lot of the hassle out of it, but more on this later as well. Parking is an ease, if you plan it just right you will park for free. Short walk from the parking garage and you are at the theater. When I entered I was a bit confuse as you can get food and drink here, not just the popcorn and snacks. There is a section to get food, but if I remember correctly, you have to order your food when yo purchase tickets and then go get your food from the pick up counter in the designated area. I assume you can get food and just eat here without seeing a movie, but the big draw here is to get food and eat while you watch a movie. On the other side of the lobby area is a bar. Where you can buy an overpriced, shrunken down drink. Why the bar and restaurant aren't closer to together baffles me. I know there is probably some law about it, but the flow because of this just doesn't work. Good luck juggling everything. I didn't do the extra food or alcohol. I went traditional here, popcorn and a drink. However, a large popcorn here is almost laughable. What you get here is comparable to a small or maybe medium popcorn at other theaters. Then it is served to you in a paper bag, if you add butter, make sure you get a ton of napkins. I wanted to get a small soda and they told me if I went with the large it would save me money. Know what else would save me money, give me the appropriate size popcorn. I always end up wasting a large soda at a movie theater. I then headed back to the theaters. To get back here, you have to show your ticket. So I had to fish it out of my pocket while holding my popcorn and drink. Once I showed proof of purchase I was let back to the the inner circle. However, when I approached they closed the theater for cleaning. Ok, I'll just sit and wait. While doing this, I noticed that there is a women's restroom and family restroom, but if you need the men's restroom, you have to exit this area and reenter. Showing your ticket each time. Theater was finally opened and I made my way to my seat. I enjoyed this theater and the seating. The chairs reclining capability is one of the best. I also enjoyed the table, like on an airplane, where you are able to put your food, snacks. This was quite comfortable. Throughout the movie I had to make sure to move every so often so I didn't fall asleep because of how comfortable it is. But, now, let's circle back onto the other few issues here. The tickets, why check them at the door if all you are going to do is believe me when I tell you what movie I am seeing. Selecting a seat, great option, horrible execution. I got to my seat and sat down, making sure it was the right one and making sure I didn't have anyone around me, with at least a one seat spacer. Throughout the movie, it appeared that people just did whatever they wanted seat wise. I made sure I purchased my seat ahead of time so that I could watch the movie from the viewpoint I wanted. The seats to my left, upon purchase of my ticket, were empty. They were also empty at the beginning of the movie. But as the movie progressed, there were several different people who tried to come up and sit on the seats. First, a group of people, who purchased their seats elsewhere just decided to sit there. That is until the rightful people who purchased the seats showed up and they had to move. That still left two seats next to me. Throughout the movie, at different points, people kept sitting in the seats. One guy sat and then left. Another time a couple tried to sit in the seats, the guy left and soon after the girl left. I honestly think that you all need to work on this. Not only was this a mess, it was disruptive to watching the movie to have to constantly move your feet and have your view blocked by moving people. I've been here several times since last year with no issues at all. I visited on a Monday evening and there was no crowd (perfect). Soon as we walked in the young employees across the floor greeted us with welcomes and smiles. Went to the bar and encountered one of thee most kindest and personable bartender ever, Ms. Oil. Love new finds! I would definitely visit the Warehouse Cinemas Rotunda again! Although this movie theater is in Baltimore, it is important to note that it is not in the Inner Harbor. It's a ways out if you're coming from the city or any other parts of Maryland. That aside, the movie theater is nice! Heated seats. Well, I've never been to a theater that has heated seats. That alone is a 10/10 for me. The food options are fine. I tried the cheese pizza, churros, and grilled cheese. For "theater" food, it was all tasty to me. The cheese on the pizza had a great cheese pull, the churros came with chocolate dipping sauce, and the grilled cheese was also tasty. No complaints. There are alcoholic beverages for purchase. The only downside is that you have to purchase your items and take them to your seat. As with other theaters, there is an on-call button, or waiters to serve, but not here. All-in-all, a really nice theater that I would visit again! read more

Why haven't I checked out this place before now? Going to the movies should be an experience you cannot achieve at home, no matter the size of your television or projection screen. That's exactly what we experienced last night seeing WICKED (again) at the Warehouse Cinemas Rotunda. It almost felt exclusive as there weren't any crowds when we arrived for a 6:10 movie. We immediately ordered food and it was prepared quickly. I opted for Korean chicken bites that were drowning in boom boom and gochujang bbq sauce. They were a bit pricey at $14 without a side of fries (+$3 add on but I didn't realize that was offered until after I ordered) but were delicious, and I could have eaten 2 servings. I'd come back to see a movie here just to enjoy those bites again. The heated, reclining theatre seats were super soft and comfy, clean, with cup holders and sliding trays to enjoy your food items during the film. The staff was very courteous, offering to help us find our theatre #. I would absolutely drive 30 minutes out of my way again, bypassing our normal AMC theatre, to patronize Warehouse again. I really like this place. The staff is friendly and it was clean. I really like how they prepare all the food behind the counters and give it to you versus having everything out displayed for everyone to touch. The cost is what you would expect for a movie theater with dining in options. The alcoholic beverage was pretty good. Again, everyone was super friendly and welcoming from the time I walked in to the time I left. The hotdog comes with a side, which is really cool to know that you're paying that price and get either fries or chips along with the purchase. I loved the funnel cake fries. Here with an update for yet another event at warehouse. This time I tried out their Monthly film League series, which shows a throwback movie on the big screen. April's movie was Do the Right Thing, which I'm embarrassed to say I had never seen before. GLOWS: -It was a great midweek pick-me-up for movie lovers -There are pins to collect at each movie every month -The trivia questions with prizes for winners is a nice touch before the movie. GROWS: - The popcorn was on the saltier side. I wonder if that can be adjusted -There are different preview amounts before every movie. I wish that could be stream lined (do I have 10 minutes or 20 minutes before the movie starts because I have experienced both!) read more

I had the classic flatbread with pepperoni, and my partner ordered the chicken tenders and fries. Both were above average for theater food, but better sauces could really elevate the experience. Since it opened a few months ago, I've been to Warehouse Cinemas at the Rotunda at least three times. The good? Great food and drink options. Want to stick to the classics (concessions and popcorn)? They've got it. They've also got food and cocktails and beer and wine and so much more. The theater is brand new and you can tell - everything is nice. Especially those recliner chairs with the swivel tray and chair warmer setting! The theater is really nice!! Their $7 Tuesdays are great (all movies are $7 - all day - on Tuesdays). Since they opened, they've had some really cool events for special releases (like The Little Mermaid and Barbie)! The not so great? I suspect they're having a hard time with staffing; it usually seems like they're short staffed (when I stopped by last weekend, there wasn't anyone at the bar or taking tickets at the theater hallway). Hopefully that works itself out soon! I personally find the serve yourself beer feature a little confusing, but it's a cool option that I'm sure I'll figure out soon! I'm so glad it opened. Movies are back, and I'm glad there's a theater at the Rotunda in Hampden again. It's a nice theater with reclined seating and seat cooler and warmers. They have the best Tuesday deals for $7 and have more than the average concessions like pizza, churros and sandwiches, not always consistent but better than average and typical theater prices. They have all the blockbusters but not necessarily indie flicks. They do have a fun tap with beers (do not get the wine as my friend's was corked) and cocktails that are blockbuster specific. I think for the beer tapping you do have to pay for a card, but it's been a while I did that. I think they are a little understaffed, I went to a matinee recently and no one was there to check my ticket, but I kind of love a theater that's not super crowded especially since post pandemic. You can park in the garage for free up to three hours but sometimes I will just park on the street and walk up the stairs. read more

What took me so long to discover this place? You've read the other reviews about the totally comfortable seats and the extremely delicious food. Those comments are all true. The Old Bay fries with a dipping sauce will make you think you are in heaven. However, it's the employees at Warehouse Cinemas who make this place run smoothly and provide exemplary service to customers. Mary, the manager, Lynn and Rose, who work the concessions, are wonderfully pleasant and go out of their way to make sure our needs are met and that we are satisfied. They greet you with a "welcome" and smiles that assure you that you've come to the best theater in town. This theater is less than a mile from my home and will be my Tuesday hangout. read more

This was my first time at WC and I was not disappointed. I was really excited to see a theater back at Rotunda for starters. WC allows you to purchase tickets online or in person. We went for the in person option which was quick and easy. They have a full stocked bar and great menu options that are simple and not over priced. I got the classic grilled cheese which comes with a side of chips, the funnel cake fries ( which I love), candy and a popcorn. Everything came to about 41 dollars which I expected because movie snacks always get you! Lol. My bf got a beer card and they had beers, liquor and wine on tap which was cool. The theater itself was really comfortable with reclining seats that were heated. I enjoyed how clean the environment was and the friendly staff. My only downfall is one has no service at all in case of an emergency! Again not that big of a deal but you can't get service until almost halfway in the lobby area! Fourth time is the charm right?? After an ok first experience, we have given Warehouse a few more chances and I'm excited to say that this is now officially my favorite spot to catch a movie in the Baltimore area! It seems like they've worked out the major kinks (like not checking peoples tickets and having people sit in our assigned seats, which happened 2/5 movies we've gone to see.) We had a really awesome experience seeing A Haunting in Venice and that solidified our decision to keep coming back! First of all, these special slushy drinks they keep making are a HIT. I tried the strawberry cheesecake for Barbie and the apple cinnamon one for fall, and both were sooo good! While a little pricy, you also have the pour your own beer wall which is more reasonably priced for more drink options. Also the food is great! I recently tried the Shame on Brie grilled cheese which is absolutely delicious. We also usually get the Poultry-geist pizza (Buffalo chicken) and/or the grilled cheese that has mac and cheese bites on it. I also usually like to see what specialty popcorn they have--the pink sugar popcorn for Barbie was surprisingly good! I didn't get a chance to try the s'mores before the new breakfast cereal popcorn, but having all these specialty foods and drinks to match with the seasons and upcoming movies make it honestly an exciting new experience every time. The only thing I'm still a lil salty about is the fact that they still don't sell corn dogs, and it looks like they've completely taken them off the menu (MAJOR sad-face emoji.) Warehouse Cinema is a great option if your looking to add some comfort to the movie going experience. I bought my tickets online through the WC website, but they have kiosks and staff where you can buy tickets in person as well. I arrived a few minutes before the movie started and placed an order for food. I would definitely recommend arriving at least 15 mins before the movie starts because the food is made to order and it took a bit to look over the menu and the food be ready. There's a variety of grilled cheeses, flatbreads, small bites and dessert options. I went with the buffalo chicken flatbread and the funnel cake fries. I wasn't a huge fan of the flat bread as it had too much buffalo sauce and became messy to eat in the dark movie theatre but the funnel cake fries were quite good. They had just the right amount of powdered sugar. The prices are comparable to other theaters chains, however I would say that the popcorn sizes were a bit smaller compared to the big chains. The large would be probably be a medium in AMC or cinemark. They have a bar and huge draft selection. The non-alcoholic drinks were mostly limited to sodas and water, not sure if I missed any other options. Parking is available in the garage and the first four hours is free so it's very convenient. We got tickets online so we just had to walk in and to your left are the self service machines where we retrieved our tickets. The sound in the theatre was great. A family was sitting in our seats so we had to wait for them to act like they didn't know they were in the wrong seats before they got up and moved to another row. Came here to see the Bob Marley movie. Location is nice but parking very confusing .... Movies are longer than 45minutes so park in the garage? I did street parking and wasn't towed. We ate before we arrived so I didn't buy food or concession but we did head over to the bar for a cocktail . I decided on a premade drink that came with some cute gummy lips which were delicious. The drink was very sweet but I loved how it came with the shot of alcohol on the side. The bathroom was decent for a busy day like Valentine's Day. This was my first time visiting this theatre and I had a relaxing, lovely time. I went to see the Oscar nominated film POOR THINGS on a weekday morning. Parking is plentiful in the adjacent parking garage, which provides free parking for up to 4 hours. I got out of the parking garage and walked right across to the theatre. I love the vibe inside, it's cozy, it's elegant, and also makes me feel right at home as a film geek! I got a kid's meal because I can't eat a whole popcorn It is a great deal that is cost effective and just right in size for popcorn and a drink! The service for food, drink, and ticket were very fast. The staff are friendly and helpful. The movie theatre seats are comfyyyy, perfect for lounging and getting caught up in the adventure on the big screen.
