I love coming to AMC 14 in Irving and the theater itself was clean with great popcorn and drinks. The movie experience is always solid. This visit was a bit frustrating though. There was no one taking tickets when I walked in after buying mine at the machine. An employee then told me to wait in the snack line, which took a while and caused me to miss most of the previews. Customer service could definitely be improved. Still a good theater overall, just hope they fix the entry process. read more

I've been to this AMC several times and honestly it's a bit hit or miss. Sometimes the theater is very clean, but other times not so much. I guess it really depends on the day. The place is older, and the carpet can have a bit of a musty smell. Same with the bathrooms, they're pretty outdated and not always the cleanest. That said, the recliner seats are super comfortable and definitely the highlight. Snack options are pretty standard. I do wish they had more snack options, but they have all the basics like popcorn and drinks. read more

In a mall meant for the walking dead and empty of stores and customers, this Move theatre is open! And empty movie theaters are a good thing for me, I like watching with only 1-2 other people in the theatre. And senior pricing for a matinee is only $5.50!! This mall has more recliner seats than some of the other AMC in the area, but their concessions is a pain and usually causes issues when trying to use coupons to the point that the last two times I had them I couldn't use. I still like the theater and the one time I had issues inside the movie (due to children running around nonstop)!they gave me a return pass to come back but didn't do anything to stop the noise. read more

Check this out. I purchase a ticket for a 3:50pm showing of gladiator 2, however it's only 15:15. I enter and buy a large popcorn and a drink and enter my theater that I bought the ticket for. I see ten minutes of the end of the Gladiator movie for the 13:00 showing. The janitor lady came in at the end of the movie, I stood up and said that there is nobody watching this particular showing, I purchased the 15:50 showing. She looks at me and says "this is theft of a movie." I bewildered and just walked away. What is funny is that she would be an employee that I would hire, because she tried to protect the integrity of the business. Nevertheless, you accused me of theft when I am carrying a large popcorn and drink, and watched ten minutes of an earlier matinee of the same movie. read more

Perfect seating with the big red lazy boy style chairs! Super comfortable and very clean! Staff is a little slow, but they get the order right! You can order tickets online before going or pull up and grab tickets at the kiosk! Food is extra expensive now! Be prepared to pay like 10 plus bucks for a hot dog and drink! This was our first movie in three years. Our very first time at this AMC location. We chose this location because it was showing our movie, and it had the reclining seats. Upon arriving to the theater we were greeted at the door warmly and our QR codes were scanned. We had a big dinner so did not get to explore the concession stand . However I did see that they had those Coca Cola Machines that have all the flavors, and that is always a plus! We got to our theater and it was easy to find our row, but the seats were a different story, some of the seats had numbers and some didn't. You just had to figure it out. The theater inside was clean, and the chairs very comfortable. I would come here again for a movie. I like the fact that you can pick your seats, QR code movie tickets make it breeze, and the chairs were amazing. read more

I loved the recliner seats at this location! The food was excellently prepared; pepperoni pizza, hot dog and of course the best popcorn out of all the movie houses. My only complaint with this AMC is the Coke machines. They were all out of Coke Zero and some of the flavored Cokes and only one machine had Diet Coke. I'm not sure how those machines are monitored but perhaps better attention could be made to them. One of the butter dispensers was out of butter also so there was a line to use the only one working; again requiring some attention in this area. I'll definitely give it another chance because the employees were super nice and courteous. read more

It wasn't bad at all. Stopped by for the opening of Kingdom Men Rising on a rainy day. The staff at the counter was so friendly and chatty (in a good way). I ordered a drink from the bar and it tasted like watered down juice. I didn't want club soda in it but I know that wouldn't have made that much of a difference flavor wise. I asked for grenadine to help with it and he put club soda in it as if I wouldn't know the difference. Y'all I saw him do it I used to work in a bar so I would know but those are two completely different things. Don't play me like I'm stupid for $15 drink that wasn't anywhere near that price on the menu. Chile, throw the whole mall away Okay the movie was absolutely great, but we missed about 20 minutes of the beginning waiting on food. Yikes. Where to begin? The experience at this AMC has always been mediocre but tonight has been especially stressful - and who wants to be stressed on movie night? The only reason that I favor this AMC to the Grapevine theater is proximity to my home and the recliners. Everything else is sub-par by far. These things have happened once or more to my party and I during the 10+ times that I have been here: 1. Movies don't start at all and someone has to go alert a manager 2. I order concessions online and they haven't been made when I arrive 3. The trashes are full to overflowing 4. The bathroom stalls are dirty 5. The coke machines are out of most of the flavors 6. The recliner electronics are dead and do not recline Please save yourself the stress and just go to the grapevine theater. The managers here in Irving do not care enough to take a break from their sweeping to actually train the 10 brand-new employees behind the concessions counter. Pitiful, really. read more

Probably the worst theatre experience I've had in a really long time. The line at the concession stand was SLOW and the customer service was absolutely nonexistent. Once I finally got into the theatre, there was no sound. I called from the theatre and instead of the representative actually providing information, she brushed me off and told me to speak to guest services about that. The guest services rep was the only pleasant employee encounter but by that time I was over it. I took the refund and left with my $20 worth of snacks to only come home and realize that the Red Vines are expired. I can only blame myself for trusting them to check code dates before stocking but after my experience, I'm not even surprised. Definitely won't be back. read more

The chairs at this theater are so so comfy, huge and clean! This is the perfect movie theatre for a date or with a good friend because its not too busy and it's clean. I watched black panther here during spring break and I booked my ticket and seat online. If you book online, you skip all the lines and just go straight to see your movie. Drinks and popcorn are fairly priced. The theater itself is very nice but the mall is so old..not sure if I'd ever shop here but I would go back to this movie theater because of its cleanliness, easy access to the movie (if you purchase your ticket online) and the super comfy and clean theater! read more

One of my favorite places to go and watch a movie. This theater is located inside Irving Mall. It should be obvious where the theater is located, but in case its not, its near the Sears entrance. You can buy tickets outside in the automated kiosk, buy it from the customer service agent, or have them on the Fandago app and show it to the ticket dude. Once you enter the theater the concession stand is right in front of you, the bar is to the right, and the theater options are on the right and left sides. So my go to is whatever drink specials are on for that night. Specials are usually mixed drinks only not offered on beer or wine. I don't care as their mixed drinks are the bomb! They got this one that is a frozen pina colado with rum and hmmmmm it is sooooo gooooood! I love the people that work here, they always have smiles on their faces, and seriously this is one of my favorite theaters in the area! read more

Theater wasn't too bad. I ordered concessions and tickets online ahead of time to avoid any lines, but the concessions were never delivered to us (even though I was charged a delivery fee). We waited a little while after the expected delivery time and then I went to the concession stand and had to ask them about my order. They saw the ticket for my order and said sorry, then proceeded to prepare everything. Wouldn't recommend ordering concessions online, but the online tickets with the QR code worked out well. This is my go to spot for my AMC A-List movies. Three movies / week, I want to make sure I'm comfortable and this place has comfort! Their recliners are by far the best out of any of the other nearby AMCs (within 25 miles) and they've always got a great selection of different types: Dolby, 3D, Digital, Dine-in, etc) It's actually right inside the mall which is convenient because I don't have to be tempted by all the stores while I wait for my movie to start. The theaters are USUALLY clean and it's most always quiet on the weekends here. The staff is super friendly and it's a nice place to come for date night! Movies can get expensive so look into the stubs monthly program. Especially if you see a lot of movies. It's definitely worth it! read more

I recently came here to watch Tammy, this movie theatre is located in a very sad mall, however the theatre itself is beautiful. You choose your own seats ( which I personally dislike), however the seats are fully reclinable leather. The seats are huge and super comfy. I don't like how there are so little seats per theatre, maybe 70 max, compared to the usual theatres which have at least 200 seats. It makes it more difficult to find seats next to your friends if you come in at the last minute, which is really annoying because I don't like watching previews. Anyways, this is a great theatre because of their amazing comfy seats, however if you want to sit with your friends be sure to get there early ! read more

I can totally see what the other reviews were talking about. The guy front was great but I can see if you go at peak times your screwed. Use the kiosks or prebook. The food stand click was oblivious. The large popcorn and drink combo is cheaper than the medium popcorn and large drink. But she was not helpful and had nothing nice to say or offer. The seats and everything else in the theatre was AWESOME! The seats were great, my first time. Only me and couple other people in the room. I can see why the prices were crazy. Shockingly a really great experience at this AMC theater. So many positive with this place. Can order tickets online, choose your love seat that you'll be sitting in, pick up your tickets at a kiosk. Super easy and simple. The concessions stand is a bit of a mess but it still offers a good variety of movie snacks. They do have a soda machine that you can pick and pour your own drinks. The reason I love this place is the recliner seats! They are so comfy! Just make sure you check your seat before sitting down, this last time I went there was popcorn grease all over the seat and spilled soda in the next one. Weeknights its usually empty, and if you have a Stubs card then on Tuesdays its only $5. I do wish they had a full menu like the one in Grapevine. The movie theater is the only good thing about this mall lol. It's typically pretty clean, has a bar, and the food is good for what it is- movie theater food. They don't have dine in or imax or Dolby but do have comfortable/adjustable seats and I typically go in off times and it's not crowded. The staff is usually fairly competent and friendly, just the one offs that leave you scratching your head. It's not my favorite location but I do frequent it and have a good experience 90% of the time. read more

I enjoyed how with ordering my tickets on fandango I was able to simply walk into the theater use a kiosk to check in and the seats recline but also the theater has a bar for those adult moments other than the gentleman who fell asleep during part of the movie and ruin it with his snoring the atmosphere was great. read more

We ordered our tickets online and picked the seats we wanted so when we got to the theatre all we did was show the lady at the front our confirmation and then straight to the theatre! No standing in line or anything! read more
