I've been here twice. I would give a much higher score if this was based on the nail techs quality of work. Nails are beautiful. Props to Jennifer and Penelope! The first time I came, the nail techs had to keep asking the manager what the prices were. I found this to be shady and possibly inconsistent with others prices. The second time I came with my daughter. She had an appointment for 3 pm. She didn't get seated until 4:15! They apparently sat a walk in with her tech 20 minutes before for a full set. This is a huge inconvenience as she has a daughter on a schedule. So this review is more based on the management not the nail techs. You can tell they work hard and are proud of their work! I went here for the first time on 9/22 to get a pedicure in which I paid $75 for and it was shellac. I also got my fingernails done which I also paid $75 and she added tips, did the gel forming with brush and then shellac. I also tipped both nail techs $15. So I spent $180 for my first time in. The place was nice and the people were nice, but my complaint starts 3 days later when my first nail peeled off my index finger on my right hand. I call them up to see if I can come in to have it fixed and they fixed it. 4 days out from the appt, my pink toe on my left foot the paint is gone, then the next day the ring toe, and now 9 days out 4 out of my 5 toes on my left foot don't have paint on them, the middle finger nail on my right hand the nail completely popped off and the nail on my right thumb is cracked. Pedicures at other places like this usually last me until I go in again which is sometimes 8-9wks. I couldn't even make a week. I got my nails done for a video shoot I'm doing tomorrow, and now I need to go find another place today to do my nails, and spend more money to get what I should have received from this place. They were very nice people but the quality is lacking. I won't be going back. read more

My appointment is at 9 today. It is almost 9:15 and the ladies are standing around. Last time I came the person doing my feel decided to have a long chat while attempting to do my nails. I have met the owner who had a shop in California, however she either should be on site more or hire a manager to make sure her staff is doing what they need to do. read more

Well, I started going to ambience nail spa and the first time was great, they honestly did a great job. The next time I went, I noticed that they removed all the gel as opposed to just doing the filler, I also complained that I felt they were going too deep with the machine and it was hurting my nails. The girl said, "well, if you keep complaining I won't be able to remove the gel." I thought about never returning after this but decided to go a third time. They did the same thing, this time I felt as if my fingers were on fire. I've been doing my nails for a long time, and I've never experienced anything like this. I was told by one of their nail techs that they could not remove that type of gel with just the acetone as has always been done at the other salons I have visited, and accepted their explanation without questioning it. Upon further investigation, I found out they lied. Now I'm dealing with nails that are incredible thin and brittle. I don't know if they do this to save money on acetone and aluminum foil, you would think with the prices they charge that wouldn't be a problem, but they will NEVER get a penny from me again. read more

I just got a mani pedi at this salon. The pedicure was good because I got a deluxe one. The manicure was terrible. She was rushing even though the place wasn't busy. I never got a hand message or a hot towel. Mine you the pedicure cost $20. read more

Yaima is my new favorite nail designer. And when I say designer I mean it, the girl's got mad skills. She's not only artistic, she's creative, and best of all she's very picky with her work to the point of perfection. Every time I leave the salon that's what I always walk out with "nail perfection". The salon itself is super clean, very pretty and tastefully decorated. The ambience is amazing hence the name of the location itself. I love it! I went with my friend it long ago because we wanted to do our nails together. I called ahead and made an appointment at 3pm. We got there 10 minutes to 3 and checked in, we knew we were early. 40 minutes go by and we asked what was taking so long because we had an appointment and the young woman upfront said it's was because they were attending people that were WALK INS before us. There was a woman also waiting that was there before us who also had an appointment at 3. All the technicians were busy and I was given and nasty attitude when I asked what was taking so long. Finally after over an hour of waiting they sat my friend down and not me. I told them we wanted to do them together that was the whole point I made the appointment and I told the woman over the phone as well. And again I was given attitude. This was not a good impression nor experience. I definitely will not be going back. I was appalled of the way we were treated and at the end of the day could not sit with my friend and do our nails like we wanted to. I'm top of the fact that I got a dip manicure it looked nothing like the color I wanted. There were small white spots all over my nails because the technician sprayed alcohol on them before putting the top coat. Place is over priced for the poor work they do and how they treat their customers. I have never had to be in a nail salon for over 3 hours. Absolutely horrible never again. Do better and work on your customer service. Don't take walk ins to occupy all of your staff when you have appointments coming in at a certain time. And make sure your customers DONT speak Spanish when you're talking bad about them in-front do their face. I may not look Hispanic but Spanish was my first language and y'all were very rude. I was a walk in at this salon, I was attended fairly quickly. Most of the workers speak only Spanish, so beware of that language barrier. I personally won't be coming back. I paid $60 for a standard gel pedicure. The lady didn't trim my nails and also seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing. I can understand people are new and learning but if that was the case I would expect a discount considering the pedicure took almost 2 hours. I didn't expect to be there for more than an hour. I paid the $60 and left, I didn't want to make a fuss or a scene at the salon. I did see some of the other ladies do a fairly good job so if you want to test your luck, then go right on ahead. The salon is very clean and organized but I won't be coming back. I suggest finding a different salon. read more

I decided to give this place a try and the only reason I am giving it a 1 star is because the ladies who did my nails were very kind and delicate but besides that the nails were mediocre and paid 110 dollars!! the pricing was just outrageous for a gel mani and pedi and on top of the the pricing on their website was completely different then what she charged me!
