My face was stinging which I expected but.. it hurt my face was tender. Could be better for the price. The owner saw me and helped her redeem my Yelp coupon but didn't even say, "hey thanks for stopping by" she just punched her code in or whatever and moved on to her next customer. The shampoo was great, and the woman who washed my hair gave a brief neck rub after that felt really nice (in addition to the scalp massage, during). They directed me to Tan for the actual haircut. He listened to what I said, took the photo I showed into consideration, and asked questions along the way. He asked where I part my hair and made sure that the length in front (and back, which was my biggest concern) was to my liking. I LOVE how he cut my hair because it's exactly what I wanted. I almost always get someone who gives me 80-90% of what I wanted, but it always misses the mark somewhere and this was absolutely perfect. The place is laid back and comfortable, friendly and not pretentious or snooty. I will most definitely be back.
