I wanted to do something special for my birthday. I heard lash extensions can be damaging, so I decided to try the lash lift. I was happy they got me on the same day. The lash tech was courteous and nice. However, I was disappointed in the result. My lashes on the right are curled so tightly that it's almost impossible to get mascara on. They appear much shorter than the left side. The left is much better than the right. I waited 2 weeks before writing a review, hoping it would improve with time. It hasn't. Ok so my first issue with this place is their focus on cancellation and being late for appointments. After 15 minutes you are considered a no show and your appointment is canceled and you will be charged. I get it time is money. I'm always on time or early and they didn't service me until 20 minutes after my appointment time. My time is money as well. Not a good start. The staff is nice but there's an obvious focus on up sales as well. My eye lashes were not even at all she focused on on way longer than the other and it shows in the picture. Now I did get the membership but if things don't get better I'm going back to latisse. It has potential to be a great experience but they need to focus more on the quality of the lashes not selling membership and products. That's my 2 cents! read more

The ladies here are warm, welcoming and friendly and the waiting area is always decorated whimsically. After coming a few times it was in my best interest to change techs. Abigail kindly agreed to service me one day after I had bee waiting almost an hour to be serviced by a different tech. That was a blessing in disguise. Abigail is an absolute pleasure to work with. I absolutely love this studio. The receptionist are so helpful and the stylist here are very talented. All of the ladies here are so sweet. I've been going here since it opened last year and I love how my lashes look. I get compliments from friends all the time! This studio has done a great job with the covid regulations. Everything here is sanitized and I feel very safe. Payton is my stylist and always makes sure my lashes look perfect after each appointment. I had my lash appointment here about three months ago. I absolutely loved the results. The technician was right on point when she said they would last about 3 weeks. My only issue was they were up there in price, I believe I paid about $80.00, not including the tip. So I won't be doing this luxury too often. I specially had it done for my anniversary and birthday which were both within the three weeks. I'd probably do it again next year if I'm up to laying on my back that long again. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the tables aren't so comfortable for the extended period of time. My back issue was worse, had to see my chiropractor the next day to align my spine. This place has a great atmosphere and aesthetic similar to European Wax Center. The front desk employee was very helpful and welcoming. She guided you through the whole process before it began. While you are getting your eyelashes done they provide you with a fuzzy blanket because it gets chilly laying there for two hours but the end results are amazing. They also offer memberships with seem like a steal. My only complaint was that my technician seemed to be under the weather which some people might freak out about. But she was very professional and did a good job on my eyelashes. read more

I went in to get a lash lift for the first time and let's just say the customer service was just as bad as the actual service. The lash tech knew it was my first time so I expected her to talk me through the process but it was dead silent the entire time. The service was quick and at the end she said "your done, you have to go to the front". She didn't even offer me a mirror to look at my lashes. When I asked for a mirror, i was shocked at how bad they looked. It's almost as though she did nothing! The receptionist had to squint and come out from behind her desk to look at my lashes and she felt bad and said just use mascara to make them pop. I could have saved almost $100 by just curling them at home with an eyelash curler tool. A waste of time and money! I would like every cent back, I will never be visiting again!! read more

I really wanted to like this place as the staff is extremely nice and the experience of getting my lashes done was good overall. However, the way my lashes were applied (one extension glued onto multiple natural lashes) has been extremely damaging and painful. I want to recommend this place because of the staff, but I can't because trust me, you will regret having your natural lashes ripped out at the root due to poor application. Hopefully no damage is permanent. I'm trying to include photos (Yelp isn't uploading them for some reason) of four extensions that fell out- I started applying oil to them when they became really painful in order to facilitate their removal so the lashes falling out within a week was my doing because I could barely blink without an extension pulling at my natural lashes. read more

The absolute worst place to get lashes done at. I've been to so many other places in town and out of town to just try and experiment with different lash artists and this by far takes the cake for the worst. Went in for the first time to get a full set and literally the next day after 24 hours most of my lashes were gone. I did not work out, bath or even hang out outside within that timeframe is there would be no excuse. I called the studio the next day and the receptionist informed me that it was possible that I just didn't have a lot of natural lashes to begin with. I was offended because I know for a fact I've got a decent amount of lashes and not by my own judgment but by other lash artist as well. They had agreed to add more and I was quite pleased with the results but then 4 days later my $100 spent on those babies shed and not one trace left. I have been to other amazing lash studios and the lashes have typically stayed on for a good 3 weeks. So for these lashes to fall out in 4 days is just pure robbery. Came to get lash extensions on the 28th. I liked them at first, but they were very natural and thin. I came for the new client price and found out upon arrival it only worked for a certain kind of lash that I did not want. I ended up paying extra for the kind I chose. After only a few days, I noticed a lot of lashes falling out, and due to how natural and thin they already were I had a ton of gaps and they looked like they had been on for 3 weeks. I went back yesterday on the 9th to get a fill. As a college student, lashes are a luxury and expensive thing I splurge on occasionally. I expressed my concern about the last set and was told which lash type would be best for me. I went along with it, was not told the price and when I went to be rung up it was over $100, including the $20 off they gave me due to my last set. It has only been one day after my fill and I've noticed how uneven the lashes were applied. On one side I have bare natural eyelashes on the end, and on the other not enough towards my inner corner. There is also a noticeable gap on my eye. Its really disappointing considering I have spent over $300 in the past two weeks on this place.... I also got a brow tint with my fill and they look horrible. Over $20 for an uneven tint, which completely has gone away after only one day. Have no idea what the purpose of getting that was if they do nothing to help shape my brows or at least attempt to make them even..... The lash techs were very nice but this salon is such a let down. Ok I hate to leave a review when I never experienced the place but I have to warn people. First of all, when I called to make an appointment they asked me for a credit card to hold the appointment but, I told the receptionist that I didn't have one that I would be paying cash, then she told me she couldn't hold the appointment that I had to call them before the appointment time to make sure it wasn't taken. I did just that called them and they told me that they already filled the spot. What kind of business model is that? The girl taking the appointment explained to me that the technicians don't get paid by the hour that if I didn't show up for the appointment they won't get paid so that folks is why amezilash demands to have a credit card on file in order to make an appointment. That means, that a credit card guarantees them payment. It's a very clever gimmick! One that I won't fall for. read more

My stylist did my whole fill in about 20 minutes and I can't even tell she filled anything in.. did not listen to what I wanted at all. The drive to Burke is definitely worth it. Amazing lash studio open up close to my home, so instead of going to my regular eyelash professional in Alexandria I decided to give them a try I made an appointment for Thursday, November 14 and by Saturday, November 16 while putting on my make up to attend a wedding I noticed several of the middle lashes had fallen off, and yes I was very upset. I called to complain and the young lady schedule for me to come in on Monday to have them re-done. I received a call on Sunday, to confirm the appointment only to find out that I was going to have to pay $99 since I wasn't a member, I politely said too the lady I was speaking with "why I had to pay when the lashes came off in three days and she said if you were a member the price would be $60. At that point I why should I have to pay for a refill? Instead of running up my pressure, I just said no thank you, cancel the appointment. Therefore, I highly recommend if you're going to use this Eye lash studio that you signed up as a member so when they fall out in a day or two you won't have to pay regular price because you will pay something even if it's the technicians error. I give them a negative 1-going forward I will take the hour drive for my regular technician to have lashes put on, I've learn my lesson, and I DO NOT and WILL NOT recommend anyone going to Amazing Lash Studio off of Liberia Avenue in Manassas.
