First incident: When I first found this place, it was for an emergency fill because my lash tech had canceled on me. So I foolishly paid for a fill that costed me $135. Why so much? Because they charge the style and fill separatedly. On top of that, they don't create their own fans. Everything is already prefanned unlike the other lash studios that they take their time to create individual fans. So I honestly don't know why they hella upcharge you. Anyways, today I had an appointment at 9am just for a lash removal. I woke up early and saw the that the place had messaged and called me to come in early because supposedly the lash tech got sick lol I called back, no answer. I messaged them via Yelp, the girl said to come at 8:30. Keep in mind, I commute pretty far. So I hauled my ass out of the bed to drive there making it there exactly at 8:30 just to have the front girl tell me that the other lash tech might not be able to come in. ...???? If you were unsure whether or not the lash tech can come why the hell would you tell me to come at 8:30? As if it's been confirmed?? Fucking waste of my time and on top of that, couldn't even have the courtesy to pick up the damn phone when I called or even message back saying it's uncertain. My usual lash tech is out of the country, so I made a BIG error in judgment and went to a random salon. I had so much fall out, and my lashes looked so uneven. It was a disaster. The problem needed to be fixed immediately as I had a social obligation in Beverly Hills and couldn't attend the event with the lashes I had on. I called amazing lash studio to see if they could do a lash fix ASAP, and the sweet receptionist was able to squeeze me in with Michelle for a same day appointment. The process was pleasant from start to finish. Michelle was gentle and did an excellent job of blending the new lashes in with the foreign ones, filling in the gaps and making them look a lot better. had one of the worst experiences here. i got a lash lift and within 24 hours my eyes were red, itchy, swollen, and burning. i ended up in urgent care, diagnosed with an eye infection, and was prescribed antibiotics and steroids to calm it down. when i reached out to the salon a guy named Jonathon answered the phone and I went ahead and sent photos and told them what happened, i was completely dismissed. no apology, no concern, not even a fake "hope you feel better." the lack of professionalism and basic human decency was honestly shocking. things happen but how a business handles them speaks volumes. I came here on 6/24 for an appointment for classic natural. They were very friendly and the technician was gentle and worked quick. I left loving my lashes. The next morning I noticed that quite a few lashes were loose when I woke up (I was following the "do not wet for 24hours" rule given by the tech) I thought maybe I accidentally slept facing down and didn't think anything of it. A little later on that day I was gently brushing out the lashes after cleaning with lash soap and noticed with every stroke I was losing lashes. On Monday when I went to brush out the lashes in the morning even more fell out. We are at day 6 since my appointment and I have about 20% of my lash extensions left. This has only been my second time doing my lashes, previously when I had them done my retention was great following the same steps. By week 3 of the lashes I still had over 70%. If it weren't for the friendly staff I would have just left one star. *Update* after posting this, the business replied about a week after my review was posted and asked me to email or call to provide the best way to contact me. Note: I don't typically leave reviews, but the service and quality that I received from the ALS were SO horrible that I had to leave a long, one-star review, so that future customers will be informed at the type of service that they're signing up for at the ALS. I really don't recommend anyone to go here unless they had no choice or they're willing to spend a lot of money on poor quality service and product, and don't mind the pain! But I'd hate for anyone to go through what I went through. ********** I've been to several other eyelash studios before going to the ALS, but I signed up for a membership here as they have branches everywhere, so it's convenient for me to get my refills done regardless of my location. However, let me just say that signing up for a membership at the ALS for convenience was probably one of the biggest mistakes that I truly regret! Here's why: Regular stylists at the ALS Crossroads are very INEXPERIENCED and they're usually clumsy and ROUGH. I've had several instances where the stylists would accidentally poke my eyes with their tools or pull my eyelashes so hard tears actually came out due to the PAIN. One time, I actually screamed because it was so painful lol. There were also instances where they told me to open my eyes even though the glue was still wet which, as a result, BURNED my eyes. BTW, I've been having eyelash extensions for more than two years and I've never had these problems in any other places before. I never complained because these stylists were nice and would always apologize, and I sympathize with them as I know that those were just accidents. However, these things happen on so many occasions on different stylists that I began to question the training/experience/skills necessary to become a stylist at the ALS. Finally, I asked the receptionist at the front if she has a stylist that she recommends and she told me that I can book experienced stylists at an ADDITIONAL COST. Sorry, what? So, basically... Even though the membership at ALS is pricier than most studios, you won't get a good and experienced stylist unless you're willing to pay more? Regardless, I decided to continue my membership at the ALS, again, for convenience, and finally booked the master stylist at an additional cost. This went well. Lili was experienced and super nice, and I booked all my refills with her ever since. No pain, but I had to spend more money for her service, which I didn't mind. On Summer last year, however, Lili was fully booked and I was about to go on a vacation soon, so I booked the most recent available stylist. I mean, what could go wrong, right? Well... everything! First, it was the painful poking and pulling. Second, it was the burn. But what's worst: I got an INFECTION a few days after my refill that lasted for the whole month! Way to ruin my vacation! Both of my eyes became SWOLLEN and RED (pictured). After 1-2 weeks, the skin above my eyes started PEELING (pictured) and the next few weeks were so painful, red, dry, and sensitive. I'm guessing that the glue they were using was poor quality OR the tools that they used were not sanitary! Btw, I've seen another review from a customer who got an infection after getting a refill here too! Anyway, I cancelled my membership immediately after this. I could tolerate the accidents and the additional costs, but an infection? No. That was it. I'm not going to pay $79.99 + $25 (6D upgrade which I always get) + $15 (pro stylist booking cost) for a service that could potentially infect my eye and cause me pain! And when I thought the horror was over, it wasn't! On January this year, I saw a charge from ALS Crossroads for $40 on my card. Confused, I went through my bank statement and found that ALS charged me $40 on Jan 2020, $12 on Oct 2019 and $25 on May 2019, even though I've already canceled (pictured). I called the studio on Jan 9 and found out that the receptionist had incorrectly added my card information onto another customer's account (which was very negligent of them, and could've put my card information at risk) on May 2019, and that customer has been using my card ever since. The manager promised to return my money (total = $77) back to my account AS THEY SHOULD but it's March 1st now and I haven't received anything back. And yes, I've followed up with them too. To ALS: Please resolve this issue and refund the money back to my account as soon as possible! All in all, please save your money and time and get your eyelash extensions somewhere else! Yes, the studio looks cute and professional, and they are convenient. I got my lashes done with Justine and overall had a great experience, with one blip at the end. I had to get a lash removal (from a bad prior experience) and then opted for a combination of the cute and natural style. Justine was infinitely patient in removing my existing lashes, which was definitely an uphill battle. The end result looked great (albeit a little longer in length than I expected, but wasn't a bad thing), and the lashes have lasted for a few weeks! The interior is modern and very clean, and I liked how each client gets his or her own room. The reason why I take away a star is because when I was checking out, I was under a lot of pressure to sign up for their monthly membership. Okay so I'm not one to bash. Especially this place because the staff are so wonderful and accommodating. HOWEVER THE LASH ARTISTS.. there are a couple things to take into consideration when going to this location. One is there is a language barrier with the Asian artists, I asked for Volume 6D lashes and she gave me classics. I figured okay well I'll give it another try, and the front desk booked me with someone else for a new set. The other lash artists was Tahlia I believe is her name. The placement of gel pads were placed too high on my waterline so it rode into my eye scratching it and opening it, which caused the fumes of the glue to get into my eye! This caused a chemical burn on my eye. And I had "stickies" which means the lashes were sticking together and not isolated properly in result left my eye feeling tight, itchy, and burning from the chemical burn. Immediately the next day I needed a removal from another place. I hope that they train their lash artists properly so that this won't happen to someone again and endure what I went through. read more

First time having eyelash extension and did not know what to expect but beautiful Michelle N 's review made me decide to come here. I was assigned with Kathy when I book my reservation. The interior was bright, clean and on the "fancy" side, so does their restroom. I was taken into small individual room (simple and clean) and was provided leg rest pillow and blanket. We had short chat and decided to go with volume than length. Kathy is very friendly and not too talkative, not sure if you are supposed to talk since it looks like a job need to hold breath. I am usually tense when strangers that close to me, but after couple times, I am feeling very comfortable with her now. Yup, I never had pedi or mani because I do not like stranger to touch my paws: XD So far I had my 1st full set done and already went through two refills (3 weeks apart). Kathy said mine kept really well and the glue is not too visible so not necessary to remove and get a new set. So l guess I can just go on and on refill to save some money?!? I think Kathy did a wonderful job, no complaint here. 2nd time she trimmed my lashes shorter because it would touch my glasses and surprisingly the result was a more fuller look. * However, my eye shape and size are very standard and would go well w all kind of styles, length, curls I believe. If you have Asian mono eyelids, hooded eyelids or lashes that grow downwards, you probably want to book someone who is more specialized in Asian eyes. I wash my face in the shower just no direct splash on the lashes. I also rarely blow dry/fan dry/comb it. Mine last pretty good 3 weeks but I would like to think every 2 weeks touch up is ideal. I think it also depends on how strong your natural lashes are, it does fall out like 2-3 per day and it's normal. I got couple compliments since I had eyelash extension, one waitress even told me my eyes are sparkling like vampire in Twilight: XD. Not the cheapest option on the market but I feel this brand/chain is trustworthy when lashes are the closest thing to the sensitive eyes. Kathy told me for 30 min touch up, she would fill as much possible in 30 mins. I had an amazing experience at Amazing Lash. The location is perfect; it's literally next door to so many of my favorite shops and restaurants. The salon looks small from the outside but it's actually quite large, very clean and modern. I love that they have mints out for you to grab because with someone working on your face, you don't want to be concerned about your breath. Tary is the sweetest! She really took her time to ensure that I was comfortable and knew what to expect. We had a great conversation until I fell asleep- her touch was so relaxing! I recently became a member AGAIN to give them a second chance. The girl who did my lashes was sweet but did not do a good job. I'm a lash tech and the isolation was horrible, I had lashes crossing and stuck together, I had lashes glued to my eyelid. I went out of town for a week and couldn't wait to get back to get them removed they were irritating my eyes. I walked in and explained the situation, only to be told I'd be charged a $45 for them to do a removal, even though it was their lash techs fault I even needed a removal. So I asked the young gentleman at the front if I could just cancel my membership then cause I didn't want to be a member where they didn't want to at least try to make it right. He didn't even try!!! He handed me the cancel form, highlighted where I needed to sign and that was it!! For how much this place charges you I would think their customer service would be much better. Let me start by saying not all Amazing Lash Studios are created equal. This one not that great. I received a 50% off coupon text on St Patrick's day so I decided to start having my lashes done again. This location accepted the coupon and I was able to get in same day. And because I had a coupon I feel like a was given Groupon lashes. Employees were kind and my lashes were full for the first two days. The first two days you are told not to wash them for 48 hours so I did not. On day three I washed them and some shed out. On Tuesday I washed them again and had a lot of shedding to the point I had two bald spots. When I got off work I called them and spoke with Ashley I believe who told me they didn't have any available appointment times that evening and policy is "4 days for touch ups". So she would have to call her manager and then call me right back to confirm. I never received a call back. I even told her it was going to take ten minutes. Just to make a client happy. How she could not make that judgement call like a big girl I have no idea. Take my advice go to the Costa Mesa location and ask for Kaylin. She uses tweezers to separate your natural lashes apart to apply extensions so she doesn't miss a single hair. No bald spots or poor customer service. Waste of money. Don't go here to their supposed "master lash artist". I'm annoyed I tipped so well for bald spots. read more

Decent eyelash extensions. Much better than another place I went to that was cheaper but lashes fell out in literally 5 days. I have had Chelsea, Arielle, Sydney and a couple of others and they do a pretty consistent job. Service is pretty fast and I usually come every 2-3 weeks to get a refill which only takes about 50 minutes. Since coming here my lashes probably look good for the first week or two and then after that the fall out gets pretty bad. It's an addiction - once you start eyelash extensions you can't stop lol! They use some pretty strong glue here so it sometimes burns my eyes with the fumes (once the fumes were so bad my eyes were red for a couple of days) and the price can be a bit high especially if you do any upgrades and then tips, etc. I usually do classic lashes but tried out the 3D ones today. I thought they were meh and not worth the extra $20 but you be the judge! Check in on yelp for $5 off! read more

I had a full refill with a mixture of short and long lashes done by Rhonda who is a Master's Stylish. I was very satisfied how my lashes turned out when she was very careful, attentive and took her time throughout the lash fill service to make sure I was comfortable. My lashes looked really good. I wrote this as an email but it bounced back..... I'm writing this as I sent a text message to the person texting me to setup my appointment at 949-216-7108 has not replied to my text messages. I setup my appointment for 06/03 on a May 15th via text with whomever was texting me from this number. On Sunday I received an email to confirm my appointment for 06/03 @ 2:50PM with Ayumi. I then received an automated text message on Monday to confirm my appointment which I did. So I left work early, got a babysitter to stay with my son so I could go to my lash appointment. Once I got there, Summer was inside with one other girl and signaled me through the door that they were closed. I signaled her back to call me which she nodded yes, so I drove off. Nobody called me so I text the number 949-216-7108 with screenshots (also attached here) of the appointment confirmation. I have not heard back from anyone. I've been a loyal client for almost 2 years and getting billed during this time you've been closed (March, April and again June 1st) for my "membership" yet I still get misinformed and can't even get a response back. Please let me know the next necessary steps to cancel my "membership" as I will be cancelling it once I redeem my 3 existing credits. Just wanted to say how thankful I am today for Summer and Thalia!! I had a major lash emergency and had to get my lashes taken off ASAP. I made the mistake of going to some random place thinking they knew what they were doing and the salon failed to inform me of lash aftercare!!! I went back to get a fill and the salon put more lashes on top of build up, covering it up with extra glue that turned into a major allergic reaction and infection.
