Cancelled my membership twice! They have charged me for the last three months and I am not getting call backs or returns

terrible experience. I had an appointment at 2:00. I was standing outside in the cold for 15 minutes while the door was locked, nobody was answering the door and nobody was at the front desk. How can you have a business built on appointments and then just not show up for them?? Ridiculous. read more

I recently faced a challenging experience while attempting to cancel my membership with Amazing Lash, Edina. Despite multiple efforts, I continue to be charged, which is frustrating and a bit perplexing. My first attempt to cancel was in person at their Edina location. I spoke with a staff member who assured me that they would take care of the cancellation. However, the following month, I noticed another charge on my account. Assuming it might have been a timing issue, I decided to visit again. During my second visit, the staff apologized that just as before, they didn't have any cancellation forms. Unfortunately, the charges continued. I then reached out via email to seek clarification. The response I received acknowledged my attempts to cancel but informed me that a specific cancellation form needed to be completed to finalize the process. The form that is never available when you go in person to fill it out as required. While I appreciate the polite demeanor of the staff and the acknowledgment of my situation, the lack of availability of "required forms" when an in person cancellation is required was disappointing. $1200 later I am still being charged. read more

WORST service of my life. I walked in for my appt 1 minute past. The technician then informed me she was considering me a no call no show even though I was standing right in front of her. She then failed to reschedule me, and still charged me $179, and refused to refund me my money. I tried calling back to talk a manager after leaving and she repeatedly ignored my phone call until I called on my husbands phone, and then when she answered she confessed she was not willing to deal with the situation. On top of it all I was going back in because my lashes failed to last not even two weeks. read more

I made an "emergency" appointment to have my lashes removed here. I had them done somewhere else (NOT Amazing Lash Studio) and I just did not like the job the tech did. I was in Minnesota on a short weekend trip from out of state and ended up coming in on the wrong day (my fault), but they were still able to accommodate me. One of the techs offered to remove them on her break, which I thought was very generous. The tech removed them in about 15 minutes and was very caring throughout and walked me through the whole process in detail. I'd be back if I didn't live so far away! read more

This is hands down the best Amazing Lash Studio in the state! I posted my google review immediately after receiving the Introductory Full Set on Monday, and now five days later, I am so excited to post my first yelp review! My lashes look just as good as they did on day one! In the past I have struggled with extensions, at one point I thought i was allergic to the adhesive, but boy was i wrong! I told my stylist Jenni about my past failed attempts with lash extensions, that the styles never looked right, irritated my eyes at the inner and outer corners, and never lasted longer than a week. This time around Jenni explained that with so many natural lashes, and they are longgg, that we don't necessarily want to go longer than that length. Additionally, the popular styles of "cute" and "gorgeous" wouldn't do my natural lashes justice. Instead we went with the "natural" look, using single .15 mm lash extensions, following the lengths of my natural lashes. The entire process put me at ease as Jenni gently taped down my lower lashes, which in the past had been glued to the top lashes, ouch! But not this time! Jenni was so attentive and reassuring, made sure I was comfortable as she gently began the process. She explained to me that my inner and outer corners would have varied style curls, using C and D curls where she felt necessary. For the first time, I had no sensitivity, itchiness, or redness after the full set was applied. They looked AMAZING! The style suits me perfectly, and now after five days, I am SO impressed with how little fallout I have had. They seriously make me feel like a million bucks. I am a huge make-up enthusiast, so after that 48 hour mark, I was sure to be careful with eyeshadows and any products used around the eyes. I purchased the Amazing Lash makeup remover pads at my appointment, and they work so well with the extensions! The attention to detail and artistry demonstrated by my stylist Jenni blew me away. I'm officially a lash enthusiast! I would recommend anyone to this Studio, the entire staff are professional, warm, and welcoming. The clean and cute surroundings make it such a relaxing experience from start to finish. I literally can not wait for my follow-up refill in the coming weeks. 10/10 read more

I'm soooooo in love with my new set of lashes! I had service done by lash artist Elizabeth, & selected the natural style. It was a great experience where I was able to get comfortable & relax from the very start to finish. Extremely happy with the turn out & feeling extra fabulous once again! Really can't wait to come back & get a fill. The prices are definitely worth it. The staff was super welcoming & friendly. The inside is most importantly, clean! Love the color scheme & decorative designs. They have a whole bunch of items that is their own brand for supply which is cool. read more

I never leave bad reviews.but this customer service is horrible. ALL of my lashes fell off after the second day. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's so hard to get ahold of a manager and when you finally do she isn't even helpful. She just says "sorry there is nothing I can do" I am canceling my membership and never coming back here. On top of that when you cancel your membership they need you to COME TO THIER LOCATION and do it in person. UPDATE: So I drove to the Edina location to cancel my membership and I even signed the papers so there will be NO FURTHER PAYMENTS... the next morning I wake up with a $359 charge. When I call and talk to someone they let me know I was accidentally charged 6 times. They also said that they have no idea when I will get the money back. My question is who says that to a customer when it's clearly a mistake on their end.. I do have to say thanks to Megan because she helped fix the issue and was the only helpful person during this situation. read more

The only good thing about this place is the owner. Went for a full set. Was told they would last 4 weeks and then I would need a fill. Signed up for membership and came back for a fill after 4 weeks. 2 days after my fill, all lashes were basically gone. Booked an appointment for a full set of volume lashes. When I arrived for my appointment I was told the technician did not have time to do the full set. I was told by the manager Erin that I did not book volume lashes. I did have an appointment card indicating that I did. Ended up getting a fill with volume lashes. Cancelled membership due to appalling customer service by Erin-the manager. 5 days later- all my volume lashes are gone. Super disappointed with this place. Really wanted to like it too. read more

This place is absolutely terrible in customer service. Not only did they not have the 3 appointments that were booked and confirmed 2 months in advance, the night before the service, they changed the time of the appointments multiple times 10 min before the start of the service. The lash technicians are nice and great but the front desk woman are young and have no idea what's appropriate customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone just because of how bad the customer service is, which is sad for the technicians. read more

I've had my set for almost two weeks and have only lost three lashes, total, due to natural shedding. There are some hidden prices, but overall it is much cheaper than a salon, and I love the results. I've gotten lashes done elsewhere, and they were good as well, but this place has the best prices. I had a horrible experience. Their "lead" did a bad. Job on my fill. Knowing that I had "breakage" on my lashes she still put them on without telling me. If I would've known that they would fall off in a week after taking care of them I never would've paid $80 for the fill. I followed up to complain and I called them 3 times in order for someone to talk to me. When I did talk to the manager she stated my lashes fall off more in the fall and that's why the fell off. I tried Amazing Lash Studio for several months, but cancelled my membership due to repeated eye irritation from the glue. I was informed I needed to come to the studio in person to cancel, which was an inconvenience. After signing my cancellation paperwork, I continued to be billed for several months. Each month when I saw the charge on my credit card, I called the studio to request a refund the charge, reminded them that my account was cancelled, and requested that my credit card information be deleted. I have had to make this same call every month for the past four months, yet I continue to see new charges on my credit card bill each month, and I still haven't been refunded for some charges that came through after my cancellation. The lashes may look good, but this business does not do well handling your personal and financial data and I wouldn't trust them with my credit card information. read more

I never write reviews. I had a super nice tech... very sweet. Unfortunately my lash lift only lasted a day. I made sure to take care of my lashes and not get them wet for 24 hours. I've had lash lifts before (at other salons) that were more curled and visible. Mine looked like I just took a regular curler to my lashes. Totally not worth the $80. Went for a full and specifically asked for one volume lash to be removed because it was super crooked and looked bad. Asked her at the end if she fixed it. She said yes. Went home and 8 hours later there it was, totally crooked again. She'd just brushed it to hold it down for a short time. I had a last minute appointment for an eyebrow waxing, and the girls at the front desk were super cute and friendly. I had Josie as a technician and we gabbed the whole time about fun things to do and places to eat locally, as I am new to the area. She has her own facial spa place that recently opened called Dollhaus, more for facials than the services offered at Amazing Lash. i was in love with my eyelashes for 5 months until a red swollen line starting appearing on my lash line. however, i continued to get my eyelashes redone because my eyelash technician said it was nothing to worry about. eventually, this line turned into swollen eyelids. i saw two different doctors to figure out what was wrong. i decided to get my eyelashes removed, leaving tiny stubs of eyelashes. i froze my membership, hoping to try again in 6 months like my eye doctor said. well, fast forward 5 months. while checking my bank account, i saw that i've been charged $60 ever since despite freezing my account. dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare. i 100% do not recommend coming here. it has left me with $700 medical bills, stubby eyelashes and extremely frustrated. read more

Was very disappointed in my fill results. My lashes were uneven, many fell out the next day, there was spots of glue on my eyelid. The lash tech was pleasant but very inexperienced. When I shared my feedback via email, the next day I received a response basically saying I needed to be "educated" on normal lash shedding and growth patterns... worst place ever!! I had a very bad experience here. Staff is very unprofessional and inexperienced. The girl who did my lashes was extremely unfriendly and didn't do a consultation with me. As another reviewer stated, the girl who did my lashes put all her weight on my forehead and at one point was leaning on my eye. I stated my dissatisfaction to the desk and no one seemed to care. I wouldn't recommend this studio. Extremely disappointing. If I could I would give negative stars as after I explained my dissatisfaction I was charged an additional $50 dollars to come back for an adjustment that did nothing. I love getting my lashes done but this place was not it for me. I went twice, after wanting to cancel after the first experience but the manager of the studio was really sweet and understanding. She put me with someone she believed to be much better than the first tech I had. The first tech was constantly sighing and reminded me a couple times that we were behind... even though I was on time for my appointment and she came in 15 mins late... My lashes weren't super even and starting falling out almost immediately. The second time the tech was definitely nicer. But again, they lashes were unevenly filled and started falling off at an even more rapid pace. I would touch them and a couple would fall out, they did not have an natural eye lash attached either, so it was literally just the fake one falling off. My eyes have also never itched so bad and the lashes are just truly uncomfortable. Anyways, most of the staff is nice and the prices are decent but the quality is very subpar. I cannot begin to express how impressed I am of Elizabeth K.'s work! The 3D lashes are so beautiful, they look just like strip lashes except it's not. I love the feathery look! It's super lightweight that I forget I even have lashes on. Most people aren't accustomed to training their hands to maintain good control at all times; She, on the other hand has great dexterity and steady hands. She was very patient with this tedious job. This place is horrible unprofessional and take advantage of minor children. They give incorrect quotes to prices and do not make sure that the customer is satisfied. When you go in and speak to the manager about your complaint she continually as you see in other reviews makes excuses as to why certain experiences happen. I would recommend for your safety to not go here. Do not have your lashes done here. I have had eye lash extensions done many times in the past and wanted to give this place a try before a vacation. My lashes usually take about 2 hour, not at this studio it took 45 min for her to apply a full set as she glued 3-4 of my own lashes to one thick extension. The process was very uncomfortable and the glue burned. The glue was applied so thick I feel like I constantly I have sleep in my eyes. It has now been about 2 weeks and most of my natural lashes have pulled out as the lashes were applied so poorly and my lashes hurt. Go to someone that knows what they are doing and uses quality lashes and minimal glue. read more

The "technician" had no idea what she was doing and she was shaking through the entire visit as if on some substance. She didn't wash her hands and I had to request that she wear gloves! The lashes start in the middle of my eye and are so sparse and thin you can't tell I have lashes on although they cost 80.00 (they wanted to cheat me out of 145.00 for this joke of a job) I was told I would be comped for a removal and re do after the manager AGREED that she couldnt even tell I'd received extensions! 1hr before my appointment to have the mistakes repaired I received a call from a different manager stating that I would be charged another 230.00! This place seems to have no experience with Black clientele, no customer service and offer very poor work. I definitely would not recommend. I've been getting lash extensions for nearly two years and have had great experiences. Decided to give this place a try given the convenient location. Sales team is way too pushy. Tried pushing me into membership before I even had lashes done and could see resulting look. Girl who did my lashes was newer and it was apparent. Lashes started falling out after a few days and were completely off after two weeks. Not good! Other places I've gone last 3-4 weeks and then got a Fill for patchy areas. I'm not impressed with this studio and don't recommend. There are several other places with similar pricing and longer lasting product. read more
