I was actually recommended to this place by a close friend of mine. I noticed that her lashes were ON POINT all the time, but they were false lashes. She has introduced me to eyelash extensions done by PROFESSIONALS. I had them done once before when I was 16 at a nail salon (0/10 would recommend) it was terrible!! But this place, my girl was very well versed and made me feel very comfortable! It didn't hurt or feel uncomfortable, which are very important to me. The price is reasonable and you get what you paid for with their mink silk lashes. There are different styles to choose from and everyone is well informed and kind. Very Disappointing I've been a loyal customer of this place for years, but after recent visits, I'm done. The stylists here are good, which is why I've stuck around for so long, but unfortunately, the front desk staff has completely ruined my experience. Instead of being treated with the respect and appreciation I've come to expect as a paying customer, I was met with nothing but hostility. From the moment I walked in, I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued client. When I asked a simple question about my appointment, I was met with an antagonistic attitude--sharp, dismissive responses that made me feel as though I was a bother for simply trying to resolve an issue. The front desk staff showed no interest in helping, and instead seemed to take offense to my inquiries. It was honestly shocking. I was made to feel unwelcome, as if my concerns didn't matter, and it left me completely frustrated. I get that things can get busy, but there's no excuse for treating customers this way. I've spent a lot of money here, and I've been a loyal customer for years--but these several last experiences has shown me that loyalty means nothing when you're treated with such disregard. The stylists may still be great, but if the front desk continues to treat customers like they're a nuisance, they won't be around much longer. It's a shame, because I've always enjoyed the services, but the last several experiences have completely soured my opinion. I have had the worst experience with lashes at this place. I stopped my membership and complained numerous times. My first visit was horrible. The girl took literally 30 minutes on my full set. Not only were they horribly done - going every other direction. They started falling out right away. When asked not to see that person again- they gave me another girl the next time - she took longer but my lashes kept coming out. I was given another girl - who was great - but I was called the night before my appointment and told it was her day off - truth was she quit. They put me with someone else and guess what ?! My lashes started falling out the same day I got them done. The lashes were also not full. I called and complained and was told they usually don't do corrections on the 3rd day of getting my lashes done. I just had them done 2 days ago. I asked for my money back from the membership they had already taken from my account- they said they don't refund if not given a 30 day notice. Unacceptable service. I have had my lashes done at another place and never had an issue with them falling out. I Do Not recommend this location to get lashes . I had to choose a star to post my review- but they get no stars ! I went in with more lashes than I came out with- supposed to be hybrid. read more

Lashes always look very nice (+2 stars) but they don't stay on very long (-2 stars). Mine usually start falling out within 3 days, even following their after-care instructions, and therefore, not really worth the price. I believe they do give you a 24-48 hour grace period if you have a lot of lash loss within that time period, but that can be inconvenient and for the price point, the bottom line is that the lashes shouldn't be falling out in large quantity, so soon. They'll feed you the line about natural shedding, but I question that when it's an issue every single time I get my lashes done here and because I don't seem to have that issue elsewhere. (I usually frequent the Plano location because of my issues here.) Anyway, I decided to cancel my membership in June (after about 1.5 - 2 years of being a member.. Note that a year of that is contract) and here we are in August and I'm still getting calls from them trying to collect payment (-1 star). I read BBB reviews about the hassle of trying to cancel with this company, so I got ahead of it with my bank. With that said, be aware in the event that you decide to become a member, if (or when) you decided to cancel, it won't come easy. read more

Well... where to start. The management at these places is horrible. They have the worst rules and they are not nice about implementing them. I brought my daughter with me (not a child) and I was going to have her sit in the lobby (where there were two bugs crawling on the floor) while I did a touch up. I was rudely told that this was not allowed. Other customers were very confused and everyone was asking why. I then asked my technician if she could sit with me in the room and she shrugged and and said no because she had no space. I switched to this studio after having a very rude interaction with the manager at Preston and Royal in Dallas. Below is an email that I sent to the manager on Monday. I had hoped to resolve my concerns and receive acknowledgement outside of Yelp, but sadly the manager has not emailed me back. I wanted to send you a quick email regarding my experience at Amazing Lash Studio on Saturday. I had a new set put on with Heather. This is not my first time having lashes and so I am honestly surprised by my experience. I came in at the same time as a recent Yelp review your location received from Jennifer B. I too found the behavior at the front desk to be unprofessional and honestly, a bit trashy. After all, the technicians that work there are working on peoples eyes! Heather was perfect lovely and sweet. She was polite through out my entire appointment. However, I found her application to be just OK. I paid for volume lashes, however I would say my application is mostly classic with a bit of volume. Some of the lashes were applied to my lid and not my lash. The lashes are crunchy and thick and poor quality. However, worst of all, I think that Heather cut my eye when placing the eye pad and tape on my right eye. When she finished I told her that my eye hurt pretty bad. It was also blood red. She had me hold the fan on it and it felt a little better. I left and later that night it proceeded to get worse. **Picture uploaded to Yelp account. There needs to be more training on professionalism, technique, and client care for your employees. Now there are only two people I like to go to here, and they're always booked for weeks. This location dropped a surprise service charge on me for seeing the same stylist I've gone to for 2 years. In the same visit they also charged me the cost of a full refill when my appointment was only 25 minutes long. I was late but the more rationale customer care would not make you pay for a 45 minute service when you only get 25 (especially in light of the fact I needed to go back for another refill ASAP). The manager was relentless so I ended up paying $40 member dues + $10 master stylist fee + $15 tip for a 25 minute service that left me needing to schedule an appointment with another location on my way home. read more

I really love the look of the long lashes I receive, and I'm even willing to pay the ridiculous amount for upkeep. On the other hand, the service, attitude, and inconsistency is troubling. My first appointment, nothing was explained. I was blind, laying there having who knows what done, and I received no after care advice. I went with another "master stylist", which started out fine. I assumed I just got a lousy stylist my first time. As time went on, I got the impression she was pained to have any sort of small talk, and she also became rough with whatever she was doing on my lashes. She'd remark, I needed to clean and comb my lashes. I was beginning to feel like this woman thought I was unclean or she was blaming her heavy hand/lack of craftsmanship on me. Again, I switched to another tech. She's not a master stylist, but her personality is much warmer. I love her work. However, she does an hour(ish) refill appointment in roughly 20 minutes- WHY am I charged an hour fee when I receive substantially less time? I was told some stylists work faster. Uhhhhh??? When I lost a lash with about six falsies attached, I began to worry about my natural lash. I called to cancel. This was the last straw. Kelly was rude when questioning why I wanted to cancel. I didn't declare any of my building grievances after being a year long customer, yet she acted as if personally attacked her for no longer wanting services. Because of her attitude, I will never return here for lashes. I did however have a remaining credit to be used. On my day to use that final credit (which they thankfully pushed through early) i received a call the stylist had quit and I was reassigned to another stylist. I was super excited that they could fit me in for a quick touch up before the holiday. Unfortunately after hurrying to get there on time, I was told that company policy prevented them from doing a 30 min touch up because it had been almost three weeks from my full. Something one might expect to be told over the phone. No one looked to see that my full was still pretty full except on the outer eye. Then they said I could pay for a full or nothing. When I mentioned I did not have time for a full because of a prior appointment, they turned their backs and proceeded to discuss the remainder of their day. I left without even a goodbye. NEVER go here. I was late for an appointment through no fault of mine. I called to tell them I was coming. And they gave me the wrong directions. Then when I finally got there, They told me they could not see me as there were other people there for appointments. They charged me for half a visit. Never felt so uneasy about going into an appointment for any service. I used to go here regularly and everyone was always welcoming and did their best to accommodate. My last visit I arrived and was given an irritable response to a simple question. I let it go but when I was called back to the room to have lashes started I got the same vibe from the stylist. When I asked to have my lashes done the same as always (for years I've being going here and it's always been the same) another uncomfortable remark was made. I left without services being done and returned later that day only to fill out paperwork to cancel my membership. Days later I received a call from management to follow up on my experience but really had not felt like it was worth the trouble to share up until this point. I didn't care to complain and really just wanted to move on, this call felt more like a call to excuse what I experienced rather than understand how I felt and possibly address how things were uncomfortable for me. I am actually baffled at how unprofessional and rude the from desk is. I told the woman on the phone I needed to cancel my appointment and she thought she pressed mute on the phone and I could hear her talking to another Employee saying "this girl is so annoying she just called should I hang up on her" and she hung up. I called back and asked for the manager to which she said there wasn't one and then the manager interjected on the phone. The manager was very sweet, understanding and profession which is why I'm giving two stars. The techs hands reeked of cigarettes and her phone laid against my head buzzing every few minutes. I've since tried to cancel as there are much better salons in the area. Update 10/31/16: Reduced by one star. My girl had to take a leave and I tried three other girls at the Greenville location with no success. One girl even glued my top and bottom eyelashes together! Grrrrr. They had a lot of problems with communication among staff and clients..Finally switched to the West village location and found Bonnie. She's great! Their front staff is also much friendlier.. :) June 2016 : Came in as referred by a friend. I made an appointment with Stacey and she was so nice, informative, and time efficient with her work. I wear glasses and she made sure they would work well when I wear them. They also send appointment reminders via text which was great. 2 weeks in and my lashes are still beautiful, no mascara or eyelash curler needed. Getting a refill soon! read more

Very unhappy with EVERYTHING about my visit yesterday. On the phone I told them I had hybrid lashes and that I was unable to get in with my usual girl. They told me they do foreign fills and that a refill is $59.99 and that the prices were going up next week to $69.99. Then she mentioned that they could remove my lashes and do a new set for their special they have right now of $79.99. I agreed. Set appt for 5:40. I happened to be off work early and in the area so I called at 4 to confirm time and to see if they could see me early. Was then told my appt was 6:40. Good thing I called because I thought 5:40. Fast forward to 6:00 and I get a call being told I missed my appt time. The girl that called couldn't get my appt time straight. First she said 5:40, then she said 4:50. I told her I called at 4 and was told 6:40 and that I even tried to get an earlier time. Nonetheless I am apparently in the wrong. First sign of bad business. So I hurriedly make my way up there. The tech takes me back and begins removing my lashes. She's placing lashes on. Fine. A little uncomfortable from how my usual tech does but whatever. Not everyone has the same skillset as another. My eyes are a little sore due to the light which I mentioned being light sensitive but no adjustment was made to the light when she wasn't using it. Whatever. I get over it. I go to the front to check out and now it's suddenly $30 more because she used hybrids. All of which I told her on the phone and was never advised that there was an additional fee. When I called after noticing that my lashes are lopsided they said I could come back at their convenience not at mine. I will never return to this business. As an Asian, my eyelashes are practically nonexistent!! It's a dilemma most Asian girls come face to face with, and I'm so glad I went through with the decision of getting eyelash extensions! Definitely would say that the service is well above average, and runs quite smoothly. As for my second time getting lash extensions, my beautician made sure that I was comfortable with my decision before going through with it, as I'm quite indecisive with everything. I decided to go with the natural style, after having her recommend two styles that would have suited my eye shape. She definitely helped me through the whole process, and everything was as smooth as can be! The pricing is around average for eyelash extensions, as the initial first set is 79.99 while the refills are quite pricier, which averages out to be around the same price as other places. My initial appointment did have to be rescheduled, but the time/date they rescheduled me for actually worked better for me..so no harm done! I've had my lashes done at two other places and Amazing Lash (thus far) is a much more affordable option without sacrificing quality! I booked with Elizabeth as a recommendation from one of my coworkers. I told her I've got two weddings coming up so I want a full on glam look which is EXACTLY what I got! I've gotten so many compliments on them that I might keep the super glam look all the time! It's been 4 days since my appointment and they're still looking as great as day 1! They have a deal where get your first set for 79$ (a steal!) then you sign up for an autodraft of 45$/month, but that covers your refill. Came to get my lashes done for my birthday about 2 weeks ago... the girl at the front desk had such a bitchy attitude and that should've been my first hint to leave but I didn't. Her tone and attitude when you didn't want to sign up for a membership or buy a product from the wall was definitely off-putting. This was not my first time getting lashes either, I used to get them done regularly in California and never had an issue. Today I went elsewhere for a fill but ended up having to have the lashes completely removed because of how horribly they were applied to being with. I'd noticed how many of the lashes seemed to be stuck together ( again, I've had lashes many of times and never had a problem) and the tech that helped me today needed an hour just to unstick them all. I'm probably one of the luckier clients because I can wait a month or so before I need a refill thanks to my long and sturdy (but blonde) eyelashes, but this place has been great. All of the technicians- well, to each their own-but they send me home looking fabulous and are always kind. I've never had a problem with any of the front desk or beauticians here...I think most of the problems stem from some of the rude customers I have witnessed that sometimes throw childlike tantrums. I've seen some really rude customers while waiting at the front and while checking out- even ones that don't tip...ridiculous. I'm always confirmed on my appointment and get a lot of reminders, so I never forget! I love this place and signed up for a year membership last March or April and I will probably renew it because it doesn't get much better than this. read more

I wish I could give them more stars but I have tried using their service multiple times and each time I leave disappointed. After a fill, almost all of my lashes fell out. So I go back in to get them filled in. Only a week later they're almost all gone again. I spoke to the young girl at the front just today and she proceeded to blame me! She specifically said to my face "your eyelashes were dirty with mascara and you should wash them". Why would I wear mascara with my lashes? Idon't and I also explained I even wash my lashes with Amazing Lash product. She then blamed my last lash artist. When a client is upset, the last thing a customer service rep should do is blame them and make excuses. A simply apology would have sufficed. This location luckily got one star because yelp doesn't give the option to give zero stars. This location of Amazing Lash is very poorly ran. I pay for a membership and was actually very happy with my services until my last service a few months ago when the stylist used a "different glue" on my lashes than they had been using. Or at least that's what I was told by the girl when I called and informed them I had a really bad reaction and my eyelashes had to be taken off for the time being. Now the reaction was by no means their fault; however, when I first started going I told them I had sensitive skin and I was told they made a note of that with my membership. But when I called and was telling them about my reaction the girl said she saw nothing that said I had sensitive skin and the stylist probably used a different glue than they had before with me. Shouldn't the stylist have informed me of that before doing so?? Well, I didn't even make a big deal then because allergies happen. So fast forward a few months to today. I had an appointment to get a new set. Called, made my appointment, and informed them what happened. The girl on the phone said yes we have you set with a master stylist and since you are a member I can use the credits accrued to get a new set. Awesome right?! I was excited to get my eyelash extensions back. Well I show up and they had accidentally booked me for a refill. Okay, accidents happen I get it. But then I'm told I have to reschedule because 50 minutes isn't enough time. But these master stylists are supposed to be able to do full sets in 70 minutes.....so they couldn't get their customer service together and figure something out for me? No, they have other appointments booked that would get messed up. So it's okay to screw over one customer for the sake of all their others. Do yourself a favor and just go to another Amazing Lash studio if you want better customer service. read more

I've been very picky with eyelashes since I first got them in 2011. I was very apprehensive to go here because it was so affordable, almost TOO affordable for a new set. Audra was awesome and I am so pleased. It's been over two weeks and I've only lost one lash that I know of, and I anticipate these will last at least 4 weeks which is on the longer end for eyelash extensions.
