Once I found out I would be traveling to her area, I booked an appointment with her without hesitance. I chose the pure luxury package. I have to say, after having been at multiple salons after Charlene had relocated to the bellevue area, as soon as her fingers touched my face, I sensed a huge difference. She analyzed my skin thoroughly, and started the cleansing process. With the four step facial she began her magic!! I must have spent half the day at the salon, which was total bliss. She also used great organic products and made sure to make appropriate recommendations... Being an out-of-towner I made sure to order plenty!! It wasn't just the facial and the massage that made my day blissful. From the quiet, serene salon, to the yummy tea and lunch to an individually wrapped chocolates, this salon definitely makes you feel like your body would melt away! I cannot wait to be back here and hope others can appreciate this gem of a find.

Charlene's facial's are AMAZING. Truly, I have never been so relaxed and comfortable during any kind of spa process. Charlene's offices are beautiful and set up for ultimate relaxation. I chose micro-dermabrasion and the mini facial as part of my living social deal. My skin was SO soft afterward and so much brighter! I will absolutely be going back to Green Rain Spa for additional skin care from Charlene. As an esthetician, Charlene was GREAT! She is a very nice, very funny lady and the light conversation during my facial was just as great as the results I received! Don't get me wrong, she doesn't gab on and on if you just want to lie there and relax (I have experienced this elsewhere) but if you initiate the conversation, she will engage and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking is available in their small garage but only for 3 hours (validated online with a code Yuan Spa provides). Otherwise there's street parking. Arriving early is a plus to use the washroom or relax in their lounge area with snacks (wasabi peas, banana chips, and honey pretzel sticks) and hot tea. Shoutout to Jessica and Emma for our massages. They were extremely comforting and the hour flew by insanely quick. Hydrotherapy is self guided between a hot pool, cool pool, steam room, and dry sauna. All are soothing but many gyms have these as well, so I'm torn whether it's worth it. However, definitely a nice supplement to other services here in the same location, which is a fair argument. One thing I hate is the check out process. After checking out, they'll ask if "you'd like to add a gratuity" which I always feel is just a darker practice in the social moment. A good massage deserves a tip for quality service, but hydrotherapy feels like an interesting gray area. However, it's easier to just give a percentage on the total amount. On the flip side, I love how they also provide up to 30 minutes buffer after hydrotherapy (maybe also other services, but we ended on hydro) to shower and leave. Passing that half hour mark would result in a charge rounded up to the next hour.

I am a true believer in PT but in this case, PT didn't help. My hamstring muscles were very tight, I could not get them to relax even with PT exercises. At that time, a friend suggested getting a massage and referred me to Yukiko Halvorson. At my first massage appointment with Yukiko, she worked on my hamstrings. With deep tissue massage, Yukiko, worked magic on my hamstrings and got them to relax for the first time in many weeks. I started out receiving one hour massages and have now worked up to 2 hour massages once a month. Yukiko is located in downtown Bellevue, one block north of Main Street in Old Bellevue. She has a parking spot reserved up front for her clients. Since moving to this new space (Namaste Healing Spa), Yukiko has incorporated hot stones into her massages. Combining deep tissue massage and hot stones really helps to relax my muscles. I highly recommend Yukiko Halvorson.

She is an expert in Chinese massage and understands and is trained on the benefits of Chinese medicine. As a result she understands the connection of massage and other areas of your body. We reserved online, but they were running late, so we waited in the lobby for about 15-20 minutes past our appointment time. The masseuse apologized for the delay, and then we were shown into the room to change. There were several rooms, and the lighting was very dim, with just a few lamps to set the mood. There weren't clear instructions at first, which made things a bit confusing--especially since one of the two beds had an extra bedsheet on it while the other had none. (It turned out they just hadn't put the sheet on yet.) There was one female masseuse and one male masseuse, and they asked us about our preference. We would have preferred two female masseuses, but that wasn't an option, so my husband chose the male one. My masseuse was a short Asian lady who chatted with me and asked where I wanted her to focus. I told her I had shoulder pain. The massage was 90 minutes long, and I apparently fell asleep without realizing it because they said I was snoring--LOL! So embarrassing. Either way, my shoulders felt amazing afterward. They also provided a complimentary bottle of water. The price is lower than most other places, and the service was great. I'd definitely go back again when my shoulders are dead again!

This spot came up as the closest one--and it was also very close to the restaurant--so I decided to walk in. I was helped right away by two very kind ladies and taken into a room almost immediately. I honestly didn't want the massage to end. The therapist really focused on the muscles that were sore from my workout. I was 100% sure I'd be in pain the next day from how deep she worked, but surprisingly, I left feeling relaxed, had a great night's sleep after dinner, and woke up the next morning feeling even better. No soreness at all. They use unscented oil, which is a big plus if you have asthma or allergies. Plus, they are still running their opening specials where prices are discounted for all different massages. Located in the Overlake Square Mall in the Bel-Red area, it's right next to Dough Zone. I called when they opened and was able to make an appointment for a 90-minute massage that same day, for the late afternoon. For the body massage, you're in a private room and can strip down. However, they also offer foot massages in their main room in a shared space. My masseuse was Jeff and he was very, very good! I lift weights and box everyday, so my muscles are always really sore. Therefore, I really needed a deep tissue massage to get some blood flowing to my muscles and help loosen up. Before Jeff began he asked what level of firmness I wanted and he made sure throughout the entire time I was okay with the pressure. It was definitely what I needed. With COVID-19, all staff were wearing masks and in the private room, the client does not have to wear a mask since they're mostly face down on the massage table. But everything was very clean and they change the sheets and blankets as soon as the client leaves the room. For 90 minutes, it was $75 and for an hour, it was $50 for a body massage in the private room. Great deal! At checkout I was given a complimentary bottled water and a stamp card where after 10 massages you get a free foot massage. I'll be racking up on that stamp card!
