The staff here is super nice. The area is clean. I got a lash perm & tint and eyebrow lamination and tint. The lash perm didn't work and my eyelashes were not curled at all. The tint was great but was an additional $30 even though there's a lash and brow bundle. Eyebrow lamination was great but they didn't really shape my eyebrows so it was not my favorite. Will likely try somewhere else before returning. read more

I went here to thread my brows cause my usual spot in Menlo Park was on vacation and I told her to keep it more masculine and I came out looking so feminine. My technician was Amar. I had peaks in my brows before and my brows look flat now, highly DO NOT recommend this place for MEN as she does not know how to work with men eyebrows. I grew them out for 3 months and she had an entire canvas to work on and she removed all my hair. Do not recommend, go else where. She doesn't take her time in trying to make it even, she was rushing even though it was empty. Mines are also uneven, it's gonna take months to regrow. It's also expensive for $17. read more

Her customer service is soo amazing, she always offers to make any corrections. The other workers are great too and sometimes if Amar is not there, I'll go to another lady. I've tried this place twice. I wanted to give it another chance but definitely not coming back. I asked for a clean up for my eyebrows with henna and my eyebrows came out thin and she took off way too much in the middle and now I have a huge space. I am very disappointed because now it will take much longer to grow back. It is very clean in there but other than that I will not be coming back. Also, the henna does not last more than 2/3 days. read more

I took a 5 month break from getting my brows done and wanted to get them cleaned up. Unfortunately, I got a lot more than that. My eye brows are soooo thin. Not only that but they are different shapes & my eyebrows are really sore from them taking too much off. The lady who did the service had the audacity to suggest I did something to my brows prior to my appointment. How if I walked in with full brows that were untouched for months. The owner was nice & tried to offer me future services at a discount but I will not be back. If any one has any recommendations for a lamination and tint please let me know. I can't rave enough about this studio and Amar in particular. I found Amar years ago when she was an employee at another location. From the first time she threaded my eyebrows, I was sold and said, "This is it! Only Amar will be doing my brows from here on out!", and that is truly the case. My brows are always flawless. I sometimes can't make it in to see Amar as a new mom, and I let no one else do them.I even went back home to AL for months and wouldn't get them threaded until I came back to Amar. From the first time I met Amar, she was professional, kind, and passionate about what she did, and this remains true to this very day. Another thing I noticed was the fact that the cashier while you pay just stares down as you pay. They want to see how much you leave for tips. I used to love Amar's but they have slowly declined. They only have one person working and they rush everything. They ended up giving me cuts in my eyebrows and my upper lip. Big and deep cuts. Before I use to only see a little bit of hair that I can clean out but now i have to pluck my eyebrows for at least 10 minutes right after getting them done. I don't know if i'll ever come back again. Disappointed on how they do their job now. This isn't my first time getting cuts. I've been getting cuts with them for the past 5 months now and i've given them the benefit of the doubt but I give up defending this place. My skin is no where near sensitive. read more

I remember when I went to Europe for 3 weeks, Amar did the threading for my eyebrows before I flew. Finally came to check this spot out. This studio is super clean and inviting. I was able to come in, greeted, asked to check in on the iPad and have a seat in the waiting area. I was told 5-10 minutes and was seen in 8 minutes! I really appreciate that Amar set my wait times accordingly and made me comfortable during that time. I like thick eyebrows and Amar understood. She was sure not to make any part of the brow too thin.
