Although Crystal doesn't have as many reviews as other facial places, she is definitely a keeper! Do NOT expect one of those super high end locations or set ups. This isn't your typical fancy SF facial place. That being said, Crystal will 100% take care of you and your skin. She genuinely cares and actually remembers things about you. I have probably went to get facial from Crystal around 10+ times and there's a reason why I keep coming back. My skin looks better than it did before. She always gives recommendations and will make sure all that gunk is out of your skin. She had to spend extra time with my extractions because my skin was so irritated, acne filled and my skin barrier was not at its best. Disclaimer that extractions HURT but I know she is taking all that gunk out. She will find things that you didn't even know you had to help your skin not be congested. My face usually isn't as cute the next few days after extractions, but man. You can tell the difference after that time period. My skin is actually smooth now with a few pimples. Hyperpigmentation is so much better. I haven't felt this confident with my skin in over a year and it's all thanks to Crystal. I love the massages she gives and she's just such a sweet woman. My friend and I made appointments on Friday for 10 am and 10:15 am on Sunday. We got a reminder email on Saturday. When we arrived on Sunday at 9:55 am no one was there - no big deal. By 10:10 am another woman showed up. I called the Westlake location at 10:15 am to ask if they knew if anyone was coming to the Millbrae location and all she could tell me was that sometimes traffic is bad and maybe by 10:30 someone would be there. The other woman left at 10:25 am expressing her frustration and wished us luck. At 10:28 am someone arrived, no apologies, just a statement that she was late, normally she's there on time and some concern once she found out I called the Westlake location and told them no one was there. My friend and I had planned to give someone until 10:30 am to arrive so we got our eyebrows threaded and the results were fine. There wasn't as much attention to detail or rationale for shape, but she did the job. Our skin was more irritated than other experiences, but she offered aloe. At time of payment I mentioned seeing a Sunday special for $3 off on the main page of the website. She called the owner to see if she could honor it because she wanted to confirm if it was for Millbrae. Thankfully the owner honored it even though she was told it was only for Westlake. Based on only the eyebrow threading, I'd think about returning. Considering everything else.... probably not.
