They've always carried it and they were out a week or so ago, so I thought SURELY it's back in stock by now several days later, since it has a relatively high and steady turnover rate, and I was told it would be there by the next Thursday I believe, and it was Sunday. Inventory said they had 2 (after fresh restock? That should have been my first clue), but they had none. Was told by a helpful employee after checking how many were at each store at the moment. It was closing time so the next day I went to the next closest store a few towns away (Ripon), that was also supposed to have some. Nope, none. When I got to the store a clean cut gentlemen had his eye on me and stepped up to say "Help you find something?", you know, that "I don't trust this guy" style when there's 3 other regular employees standing right there? I found out later he was the regional manager, "Kevin". Guess what? Also not the electronic inventory claiming 2 - in fact, again, none at all. At this point I'd learned my lesson about the alleged inventory that the electronic tracker claims, so I was about to have them call the other stores for me, however, Kevin the Regional Manager said he was just at the Oakdale store and he "knew" that they had some. So I Drive from Ripon to Oakdale (which was awesome due to an emergency road black and detour on HWY 120 that detoured us back to River Rd., causing a 20 minute wait at each overloaded country stop sign from Ripon to Oakdale. lovely ;-) "knowing" at least I'd finally get my product. I bet you know what's coming next, don't ya? Yep, instead of the 4 inventory claimed, Mmm Hmm, none (thank you TSC's electronic inventory tracker! ;-). Even though Regional Manager Kevin said he was "just there doing inventory and knew that they had some". The two employees I was talking to there at the Oakdale store looked at each other with "that" look of "Mmm Hmm, here we go again", the one employee said "I'm sorry, I usually handle that area and I was just back there as well, we don't have any, we've been out of that for about 4 weeks." Wonderful. Moral to the story? No matter WHAT the electronic "inventory", OR, even the "Regional Manager" says - CALL first, if not, hours and over 100 miles of round trip later, you STILL won't have what every store was supposed to have. At $6 per gallon of gas, that call will save your wallet from some serious thinning and weight loss. For the record, in my personal experience anyway, all the regular employees at all the stores were of good stock - polite and helpful - zero complaints with any of them, never have, but clearly the system they rely on needs help and makes them look bad.

He is the middle age Indian guy (not the older Indian guy) and he constantly hits on my partner and makes rude remarks to me. Shortly after moving into our house we noticed a smell coming from our tank (which we own). We…read morereached out to Ferrell and they sent someone right away. We were told that we had a leak around the fuel gauge and it would need to be repaired, and red tagged us for this issue. The repair guy told us to reach out when we were at about 5%, I double checked this through the website chat and was told that was correct. So when we reached out for the for the appointment I received a text the very next day for an appointment for the following week, great! But when they came to do the repair, we were told they couldn't do it because it was not at 0. So we were told incorrectly on multiple occasions. So we ran our tank to 0 and messaged for an appointment. We have been without propane for 2 weeks and have been told that it may be another week before they reach out to even make an appointment. And the appointment is only for a repair, they can't make an appointment to fill the tank because it's been red tagged. So once we have the repairs completed, it might be even a few more weeks before we can get a fill! Thank goodness it's summer and we don't need the heater. But we have been without a stove/oven, and a dryer for 2 weeks already. Is this normal? So frustrating!

We had problems getting a delivery from our propane company. We waited 1 month - no status calls…read moreand no delivery. Delivery was supposed to happen by 11/24/2020. The initial fill ticket was placed 11/14/2020. We started seeing posts about other folks having the same problems with the same propane company we had and decided to switch our service to Sierra Propane. Some of these people were totally out of propane or had paid for delivery with no results - they were still waiting for their deliveries. This is really poor service. The company was leaving people stranded which is not acceptable. I'm happy to report that today we had our first interaction on site with Sierra Propane and have nothing but high marks for their commitment to superior customer service. I first spoke to Kim at Sierra who was very professional and kind. There was no answering service or hour long wait on hold - she answered and put me in touch with Steve. Steve was wonderful and got our account set up quickly and kept us updated the entire way. The tech that came out today was Larry. He discovered a faulty regulator and replaced it, checked pressures, etc. He was very efficient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Sierra! Hats off to you and thank you for taking care of the people of Mariposa County! UPDATE: Just got word this afternoon that we are are getting our propane delivered tomorrow morning!! This is only 1 week after initial contact with Sierra. I am totally impressed with Sierra!! Woo hoooo!! This is AWESOME customer service!! Thanks Sierra!!!

For them this meant stop service for a week or two right during freezing weather so that they could come out and inspect before issuing NEW service. We said we're not new just different name. "Sorry, that's our policy." We begged them to give us a partial fill since we're a non-profit animal rescue and that we house kittens/cats. They replied "NO". Needless to say we stopped service and went elsewhere, where they value their customers. Extremely disappointed! Go to Van De Pol!
