I can eat this pizza without getting sick?! I'm gonna guess it's not a premade pizza crust that they're purchasing out of some food truck vendor. I could be wrong, but it taste like they actually make that pizza crust and house, and the pizza is out of this world. (is it wild that we're all surprised when we find food that ISNT from a can or a box?) The service has always been exceptional. The ambience is lovely. I've gone to Dominic's since before they moved from next-door to the movie theater in Escondido. It is one of our favorite go to restaurants. They never let us down. The food is always exceptionally fresh, and I really can't think of any constructive criticism to offer. Keep up the exceptional work!!! we love you guys!

I didn't know about it when I called because the cannolis didn't make it in the bag. I asked what they had charged because it still seemed like it was too much. I learned about the added on sauce without asking permission. They were supposed to refund me and never did. My mom had said I should've asked for the whole meal back!! I had let it go because I thought they were going to at least refund the sauce like they told me they would. Plus they had marinara, yet even this was watered down. We used to love this place and had a bad experience last time we tried it too. Now we will stay away.

Went here last night with my family and we had such a WONDERFUL time. The atmosphere in here is so special, every inch of the walls are decorated and especially now in Christmas-time, the ambiance is so magical! Fair warning the food takes a second to come out, but its only because Joe HIMSELF, this sweet chef from Calabria, Italy, is cooking your dinners individually back in the kitchen just for you! You can tell each dish is made with so much love, attention, and care. Joe came out to say hi to us and made us feel so welcome. Having dinner here is like you're getting a home cooked meal from your Italian grandfather in his home! Such a special place and truly the definition of a hidden gem, you step inside and it feels like you're in a whole different world. The house chianti is a great little red to pair with your meal, we particularly enjoyed the bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, and white wine sauce linguini with clams. Wish we saved room for dessert because I would've loved to try the tiramisu and homemade cannoli! Will certainly be back though - this place truly is so so so special; I've never dined anywhere else like it. It really feels like you're part of a FAMILY dining here, such an incredible dinner. Joe is a gift, we will definitely be returning!

There's a parking garage that's basically a five minute walk away and validate your parking for the first two hours for free so that is cool! We had reservations, and were quickly accommodated upon arrival. The host was extremely friendly and the environment had a feel good energy vibe. It was a beautiful day to eat on the patio. Everyone was having a great time except for one crying baby lol. But that happens! The food was absolutely delicious, but let me start with that lemon drop martini. Wow! Super delicious. I could've probably drank a dozen of them. The focaccia was cooked perfectly. I thought the Montanara we're going to be like little pizza dough bites that you dip in sauce, but they're actually three giant pizza bites with different sauces and toppings! Very surprising to see, but pleasantly surprised. They were delicious! A nice crispy crust on the outside and a soft fluffy inside. But the star of the show for me, was the pappardelle with the Buona Forchetta (V) SAUCE!!!! Cream, egg yolk, parmigano, spicy marinara, black pepper... and I added crumbled Italian sausage for the win. The vibes were on point, the food was amazing, the drinks were delicious, everything was a win. I would definitely recommend this Italian place to just about anybody. I'm hoping all the other locations are just as good!

Great atmosphere as well. Honestly you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu! I recently tried their gluten free focaccia bread and I have not stopped thinking about it because it was so good. My other favorite sauces in the past have been their carbonara, buona forchetta, and aglio olio e peperoncino. Also their lunch menu is delicious too!

So, coming here for my wife's birthday for her favorite fare of rare steak seemed like a slam dunk. And yet, I'm left wondering if I either came on a bad day or this place has really fallen off in quality in the last few years. Let me start by saying that our server was fantastic. Sadly, I can't remember his name, but his attentiveness, demeanor, and knowledge base were truly the highlight of our time here. The restaurant itself is okay, a bit of a 60's to 70's vibe that just straddles that fine line between kitsch and tacky. It's small, cozy, with a good amount of lighting and comfortable seating. We were quickly seated and ordered without much issue. Our dinner started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts w/Smoked Bacon. They were well cooked, nice and tender, while still having a decent chew to the char on the outside. The flavors are very sweet, with the honey and balsamic vinegar coming very forward, without the parmesan cheese adding some much needed saltiness. It was pretty good, though I believe it would have been better with added feta for more sour and salty notes instead. I had the Seared Scallops, a special for the day. The scallops themselves were small, probably each about a $0.50 coin in size, as opposed to something a bit bigger than a silver dollar you'd normally see served; but, there were a good four on the plate instead of a typical three to make up for it. They were a bit over cooked, making them dry and cracked in most places instead of having a smooth crusted sear. Still, they were seasoned well, with a nice white wine sauce that gave them a good overall flavor and a small spoonful of crab roe on each for some added texture. The real star on my plate, however, was the vegetable puree that had notes of chickpea and red pepper ... quite delicious. My lovely wife had the 12oz Prime Rib, an apparent Monday night staple at Bellamy's. She was initially worried that it would be too much, as she generally can only eat a small amount before getting full. But, when her plate hit the table, those worries evaporated as what she received was much closer to an 8oz portion. It looked nice and rare, a good amount of pink; however, there was no crust on the edges. No real seasoning on the outside, no salt or pepper, no Italian herb mix, nothing to give any real flavor other than that basic beef. We brought this up with our server who noted that a few other patrons had complained that the prime rib was too salty and the chef's solution was just to eliminate seasoning altogether. Chef's, don't do this, keep making Prime Rib properly. People, learn how Prime Rib is prepared and how to eat it. The bite I took of it was terrible, making me think of how boiled beef might taste in England. The Horseradish on the side was alright in taste, but had very little of the bite that you would normally expect to it. The carrots were undercooked, with no caramelizing to them. And the potato was pretty basic. All in all, a terrible birthday dinner. For dessert, we were given a slice of White Chocolate Cheesecake. It wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't bad. It could have been served better by being closer to room temperature. I will say that whoever is in charge of selecting or ordering their fruit needs a raise, because the blueberries and strawberries on the plate were utterly fantastic. In the end, a very subpar dinner from a place that I was very much expecting more from. It's especially difficult since there's not that many places in and around the area where you can get a really good steak. Apparently, Bellamy's can't be trusted with that either. And to be fair, it's not a bad place to have dinner. The food was okay in most ways, pretty good in others. It's just not anywhere near what a good restaurant should be considering the cost. Looking at the older reviews, it's apparent Bellamy's is not what it once was. Hopefully, it can find its way back there in the future.

The menu is obviously focused on Central America style food, but I was lured in after learning that among their Italian items is a meatball sandwich than includes a side of fries. The sandwich was good with four medium-sized meatballs, tangy rather plain tomato sauce, and melted cheese on a soft roll. Not as good as the gold standard meatballs, sauce, and bread at Mona Lisa in Little Italy, but passable. The fries were hot and crisp, which is a rarity these days having been served so many that were mushy, limp, and barely warm. In addition to ketchup, there is a tasty side of ranch. They serve beer, wine, and mixed drinks made with wine. The ambiance is very comfortable with authentic Central American decor. The service fast, friendly, and efficient. Their consistently excellent health inspection reports are a big plus. I'll be back to try their Salvadoran specialities.

Unfortunately, we decided to stray from our usual order the other night and try the "shells," and it turned out to be a big disappointment. I assumed this meant stuffed shells... the classic ricotta-filled pasta. Instead, what arrived was a large bowl of empty, medium-sized shells with marinara sauce poured on top. In both presentation and taste, it felt no different than plain spaghetti, just in a different shape. It was unappealing to look at and, honestly, unappetizing. While this may have been an oversight on my part when reading the menu, the dish itself was extremely underwhelming for the price. The garlic bread that came with it was soggy and lacked flavor, which only added to the disappointment. The salad, however, was good and the one bright spot of the meal. Still, it was frustrating to spend that much money only to throw away nearly half of the food. That said, if you're coming here for pizza, you won't be disappointed... it's still excellent and worth the visit. I've also heard good things about their lasagna. Just be cautious when ordering anything described as "shells" and make sure it's what you're actually expecting.

The schwarma is seasoned very well, and not chewy. The rice is also very good, and flavorful. The hummus is one of my favorites, although this time it was a little thicker than usual. I love the dressing they use on the salad, I could eat a whole bowl of the stuff. The salad had a lot of cucumber, cut in big chunks, which is how i like it. The bread is enough for 2 people at least, so i would keep that in mind. 2 of us shared it and we still had some left over that we couldn't finish. The portions in general are very big, for me it was enough to dance leftovers of everything except the salad. I think this is a must to try if you live nearby, or even if you are just in the area, i don't think you will be disappointed.
