So on one occasion, the regular caregiver found him on Monday a.m. in his living room asleep on the floor in the fetal position, with the same clothes on that he had on Friday. Clothes obviously completely soiled. The caregiver from Goodcare basically did nothing, while I paid well over $500 for the privilege. But, I realize things happen and I called Goodcare to let them know. They were nice enough and said they would take care of it. Several weeks later, the same thing happened. And of course they billed me for the privilege. So I called again, and told them I couldn't use them any more - I actually need someone to TAKE CARE of my dad on the weekends. Like shower him, change him, tuck him in. The kind of stuff that home care agencies are supposed to do. Jo Beth assured me she would speak with the owner and that he would contact me. I also asked if there was anything they could do about my bill, since I am paying for SERVICE that was never performed. She assured me that SOMETHING would be done and that I would hear from someone soon. Three weeks later, I've heard nothing but crickets. Sorry folks, but as far as I'm concerned, Goodcare is actually "No Care." And you pay $25 an hour minimum for "no care." Good day.

Renting unnecessary gear for him and putting it in his room. Dropped/discharged him when he went to the ER. Problems keeping up with his medicine, the nurse or I always needed to remind them. The call center is always polite. Nurses are overworked. Usually 15 to 40 minutes after you call the call center before someone calls you back. The person calling you back is not necessarily the nurse in charge of the patient you called about. Did not respond to patient issues when he fell and hit his head causing the facility to call an ambulance and send him to BSA (over 10 times).

After we had been there for a few days they sat down with us and gave us our dad's medical plan and timeline on when they thought he would be independent enough to go home and take care of himself. I specifically asked if they had mailed a letter to their patients and the response was "no, we did not". This is the worst way to treat patients. They shorted me pills, refused to fill my prescription even though I was out of pills (because they shorted me...), then changed my three month prescription to a one month prescription when I finally got them to refill it. Then they canceled the entire prescription, so I wasn't able to even refill it. I never write bad reviews, but this was that bad. Find another pharmacy and don't waste your time here.
