I appreciated the response and was initially encouraged. Fran acknowledged that there should not be this much mud and water retention in the affected area. He identified issues with the compacted soil, grading, and shade and proposed removing the existing sod, adding improved soil, correcting the grading for better water flow, and installing sod designed for shaded conditions. Fran told me he would return to complete the corrective work. I'm still waiting for them to schedule a day to come out, and I'm hopeful for a resolution.

I have a very large driveway on my farm -- honestly, it's more like a parking lot. We agreed on a fair price, a date, and that the sealcoat would be hand applied. Mr. B's crew arrived early, worked efficiently, and finished the entire job in about 2.5 hours. When they were done, the driveway looked absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, about an hour later, Mother Nature had other plans. An unexpected and extremely heavy rainstorm came through and lasted for several hours. The rain washed away portions of the fresh sealcoat, and even worse, water pouring off the roof of my shop splashed sealcoat onto the bottom three feet of the steel siding. It was everywhere, and it did not want to come off. I was genuinely concerned that the siding on my building might be permanently damaged. I called Mr. B and explained what had happened. His response told me everything I needed to know about the kind of business he runs. He was extremely apologetic and immediately assured me that he would do whatever it took to make things right. He even told me that if the siding had to be replaced, he would replace it. Less than five days later, Mr. B personally returned with his crew. They painstakingly cleaned every droplet, mark, stain, and discoloration from the affected siding. I honestly couldn't believe the result -- they got ALL of it off. You would never know anything had happened. Then, on top of that, they completely recoated my entire driveway at no additional cost. Anyone can look good when everything goes perfectly. What really shows the character of a business is how they respond when something goes wrong. Mr. B stood behind his work, kept his word, and made absolutely certain that I was taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. B and his crew. They are top-notch professionals who do excellent work at a reasonable price, with a level of follow-through, integrity, and customer service that is increasingly hard to find.
