Listen, Id been going here for years since ce Quincy was there Im talking years. They are unprofessional. I made a 9am appointment drove over 120 total to be told oh no appointment I show them the confirmation they looked flabbergasted. Told me to come back....I wish I would. I've been coming to this salon since 2008/9. My lashes are done by the owner,Tien. I've never gone anywhere else because Tien always does her best to consistently provide a relaxing experience. The lash set (or fill) lasts pretty good, she's very "sisterly" and I don't have to babysit her to leave with a great set of lashes to my liking. Her staff are also well trained techs, friendly and professional. I rarely post on yelp but I happen to today after I stumbled across a couple negative comments. The complaint about a missed internet scheduled appointment was surprising. All I can say is if you book after hours online, also call. In my 15+ YEARS of coming to this salon I've witnessed only a couple of misunderstandings and usually (I KNOW) its a new client who has no idea that Tien (and staff) will go above & beyond to provide good customer service, be skilled and professional. I have seen Alyssas Eyelash for a while on here and finally gave it a try. As soon as I arrive at my appointment they take me in. What I love the most is they have recliners so if you have a bad back it's comfortable. I hate those cheap flat beds lash artist use. The prices were reasonable and they provide good customer service. I dont know who my 1st lash artist was but she did a hybrid look , however it looked too natural for me. I had just came back last week to get a full set. I've been here three times before. I guess I came at the wrong time because i didn't get great service and lazy service at that. I had glue on several parts of my face. She was not gentle and he breath was all in my face. My right eyelash was barely filled. This was a different lady from the times I've came before. I think she was just trying to rush to get out at 7 when they close. I don't appreciate that at all I'm spending money here and I expect great service if i were to come anytime of the day. Please take note to this for the future of your employees. This doesn't apply to all but just the one that did my eyelashes. This doesn't look good on your business. The first time I went I got the 80$ silk eyelashes. They looked amazing and lasted for like 2 1/2 months not kidding. Definitely a great investment because I don't like putting tons of make on when I go out of town. It was so worth it. This time I was going out of town again and wanted some lashes and this time I did the 100$ mink eyelashes. They feel so light and look sooo natural. It's be almost a month and I still have a great amount of lashes still intact. I'm very pleased. I got Michelle both times and she is so gentle and quiet I almost fell asleep. I just left my Brazilian wax appointment, and it was AWFUL!!! The technician seemed irritated that she had to wax me, didn't prepare the area, the wax wasn't ready so it was too thick and wouldn't wax properly then was too hot and burned my skin. I was left with hair and wax all over my body, including a chunk in my hair ‍. My skin was left red and irritated. When it was time to pay, she charged me $50 even though the website states $40 and $35 for 1st time customers, which I was. I will never, ever come back to this place, and I regret even finding it!!! read more

Even though they give you the option to book an appointment online I did that and when I got there, they told me they couldn't see me because they were full and I said why did the Internet let me make an appointment then? Who I am assuming was the owner, says I normally check them at night and cancel the appointment, but I didn't check it last night. How I s that appropriate? The lack of accountability is laughable. Just say you're sorry and move on because now, I have my eyelashes CUT and with the manager INSISTING that it isn't? No my eyelashes aren't weak, they are CUT. I've went to another lash tech after who confirmed it was cut, and they couldn't even put eyelashes on it because it was cut too short. Also, I texted with YOU, the manager, and now you're saying you didn't receive my text? I know you remember me. I had asked for cat eye style so I'm assuming that's why she cut them only on the middle and inner corners, and left my outer lashes alone. Either way TAKE accountability and apologize for your workers wrong doings instead of defending them cutting my eyelashes and now I have to live the rest of my life attempting to grow them out again. read more

Second, they clean you with a baby wipe, which is made of cotton and may be related to allergies in contact with the glue, third, they do it so fast that they don't do the job well, they don't have a logic of what eyelash extensions are like. read more

Felt rushed and come to fine out they didn't take card...... with NO SIGN SAYING THAT. I will start by saying this was my favorite lash spot. The first time I went here I was in love with my lashes. Please note that I didn't have short or unfortunate looking lashes to begin with, I just wanted them a little bit longer. I would go here religiously and have spent at least 1k in the last year at this spot. Here's the problem. Each time I tried to go without lashes, I felt like I looked awful. I had no lashes... They looked so straight and were so short that I couldn't even curl them. I basically had to keep getting lashes because without them I couldn't stand to look at myself in the mirror. I read a review on here a while back where someone said they cut her lashes. I thought, no way... but she was completely right. I had plenty of lashes when my extensions came off, they were just soooo short. Fast forward to about a month of not getting extensions and I finally have some length back. Horrible, do not go here. This place used to be great but has gone down hill. They use cheap materials and bad glue. I recently went to get a refill and woke up the next morning with my eyes closed shut. I called them to let them know and they ask for me to remove them which I did. When I asked for my money back the owner insisted I take a store credit! I was like no way. I also questioned their glue and how it changed because I never had that reaction before. She was like we didn't change glue which was a lie because the girl that did my eyelashes told me they did ! They basically lie use bad product and have no customer service. I've been going to Alyssa's for a while and everyone has been friendly, professional and welcoming. I personally go to Liz however; the other women in there do good work. They play good music from various genres and make you feel comfortable. My lashes last about 3 weeks and I've never had a problem where I couldn't get an appt for a fill. I am picky about my services and will drive far to make sure it's done right, hence my hour commute to get my lashes done. I was recommended by 3 of my friends that this was the place to go to for the latest trend. Thien, the owner, does a good job! She's a sweet and nice person who cares for her customers, employees, and her shop. She uses 3D Lashes products and proudly backs up its quality. The average price seems to be around $50 - $150, but this place is very reasonable in price... $45 for individual lashes $35 for grouped lashes $5 for touch ups ** My girl friend made the appt for me, but Thien forgot to write in her schedule. When I arrived I was told I had to wait 1 hr which surprised me and upset me since I drove 1 hr from Torrance. After jogging her memory, she made a solid effort to make up for her forgetfulness and seated me immediately for my appt. This considerate service and the good job she did on my lashes is why I'm giving her 5 stars. read more

It last me for about 3 weeks and I could probably push for it to last a month, but that's just my preference wanting fresh lashes . The owner, Tien is my go to person. She is fantastic at what she does and she knows just how I like it. She runs the business very well, fast, efficient, and great customer service. All the girls are just as good and just as friendly. I also get my pedicure there. I get gel and it will last me for months! Great quality, the nail polish will not chip and the reason I would have to re do is because I'd like to change the color or my nail grew out. I think the best part is they also offer a 30 minute foot/hand massage during lash application. I came here to get my lashes done for my wedding. Mom is a frequent customer and I was so disappointed with the previous lash studio I went to in OC. Tien did an amazing job! I had perfect lashes for my wedding and on top of that they lasted through my entire honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen! I was in the water all week and I'm not even exaggerating when I say I think I didn't have one lash come off.
