I'm a serious DIY person--I almost never hire anyone because I usually feel like I can do the work myself (and often better). But every now and then, I run into a project that's beyond my skill set. When that happens, I'm looking for someone who is not just capable, but who cares about the work as much as I do. That's exactly what I found with Charles at Pocket Plumbing. From the very first job, I knew I had found my "forever plumber." He's skilled, honest, and takes real pride in getting things right. What really sets them apart is their integrity. Between my projects and my family's, we've had a couple of situations where subcontracted work didn't turn out perfectly. As soon as Charles was made aware, he personally stepped in and made everything right--no hassle, no excuses, and no additional charge. That level of accountability is rare. Today, his assistant Dave helped me on a project and was equally professional and knowledgeable. I was so impressed that I immediately recommended him to another contractor who happened to be on-site. If you're looking for a plumbing company that delivers high-quality work, stands behind it, and genuinely cares about their customers, Pocket Plumbing is the one.

Anyhow a different tech came to put the new toilet in. He was nice and did a good job. However, should have checked the upper tank and it was wobbly a bit. I messaged them and ask if that's normal. A different tech came and temporary fixed it. I believe it's that type of tank that is just not steady in the upper part (top flush button) I ended up again using a towel to put behind to make it sturdy. Imagine that, a pricy toilet that uses a towel to keep the upper part sturdy. As annoying as it is to get estimates, you should definitely do that before you settle for one that's more pricy than it should have been. And all they care about is you rating them and keep asking you to rate them through email and phone.
