Rx Electric promised to complete all in one day, and they did. The estimate initially given was honest and fair. There were no problems, and the price of all the electrical work was the same as the estimate. Before the installation date, the owner visited the property again to confirm our contract. Despite changing what I wanted before the installation date, the owner showed patience, understanding, and professionalism. And yes, in the month previous to the installation date, I changed the work order. There was a hold on the shipment due to the tariff uncertainty that occurred after I had ordered the fans. I nervously checked with the company when I hadn't received the lights and fans I ordered from another distributor. I panicked because I thought I would be charged the amount on the contract even if the product was not available. Jillian of RX Electric took my call and assured me everything would be fine. Well, thing s worked out the shipment arrived the week before the installation date. The day before the install the company contacted me as a friendly reminder. The owner, Robert and assistant, Joe came on time , completed the work , cleaned up and discarded the old items , they even vacuumed. They were so quiet and on task I was pleased with their customer service and work. I took a chance on RXElectric and I'm glad I did. They changed our dated 20-year-old lights to LED. The cut into the…read morewall without contacting the landlord to make sure this was ok, even though I told one of the workers directly not just once but twice, "call the landlord". When the wall was cut, the way they patched it up was totally unsafe and well for lack of better words, half-ass in my humble opinion , but please, see picture and let me know what you think, especially if this was your child's room. My landlord was very upset as this was my son's room specifically. Fortunately they were coming back because, I had just called them to let them know, whatever they did, caused a whole different issue - my kitchen, garage, and whole side of the house was now surging out. They came back, I give them another credit for getting back within an hour. They properly covered the hole they made, (again see pictures for reference). Why it wasn't done like that initially is beyond me. I would hope one would understand if there wasn't a whole in the wall when you arrived, there certainly shouldn't be one after the job you supposedly completed. To fix the new issue that was created by them fixing the original issue, that they didn't realize they did until I called them about it, they needed attic access. This is thru my spare bedroom. Hold that thought, for now... So... They fixed the new issue I was told, they were packing up to leave, I went to my son's room to flip on his light (which was the original issue and main reason for the call initially) and low and behold, the light doesn't come on. I wish I WAS MAKING JOKES. There were 3-4 guys at a time working on this project, you think a quick check before ya go ‍ ...guess not. I was told because of the switch out with the lighting fixture as well, now, they didn't have the right bulb, so they would be back in the morning with that. They came early again and it worked. Now back to the attic access in my spare room. It's thru the closet. I had a painting in there rolled up. I just bought it. Stored it in there until I was going to get it framed. Purchased 9/30- I noticed it was not there afterwards. It's my spare room, my mom stays there, no one else. When I called to see if Lisa could ask the guys to check the truck or just ask to see if they accidentally may have grabbed it, just when cleaning up after working there, she immediately said, Kevin didn't take it. Going on about him working there 35 years... etc. I said, Lisa, I didn't even say I thought Kevin took it, I sadly don't remember any of the guys name,- first off. So I repeated, I am calling, and I wanted to explain to you just so you can pass it on to the guys, as I am sure they work at many homes- just to "paint the picture" so to speak, of the house, the situation...they had to access my attic thru the closest, by chance during clean-up was there a painting, rolled up like a poster- mistakenly grabbed. Lisa still seemed pretty agitated at my call and just plainly said she would call me back the next day. She did, and her message started the same way, Kevin is a 35 yr employee, I trust him and he didn't take anything from your attic- I was just hoping she would have said, hey I had the guys check the trucks, I asked, we looked and you know, there is no painting. Never did I say it was in the attic, my attic isn't a storage attic to begin with and she was just going on about Kevin. That's great about Kevin! Go Kevin! I love you Kevin, thanks for coming back and getting the job done! Anyway I called my landlord today to confirm if they ever called or even apologized for cutting into the wall, she said no. I wanted her to understand incase they told her otherwise that it was clearly communicated to call her by me, and I was just as mystified it didn't happen. Let me be clear, it wasn't Kevin I told it too- we know Kevin is just about perfect. just want to make sure we are clear on that. I think Kevin maybe the owner. Look- the work got done, was it perfect no, not at first. I have this pig painting from NY I bought myself, from. vendor in Central Park, I am not a fancy art collector here, let me make that clear... I spent $80 buck on it. I am not sweating over it, I can go back and get another- I was just truly curious if It was mistakenly grabbed. I just wish Lisa would have picked up on that- but you know what, I love knowing how much she stand by and adores Kevin! Very devoted! Love it. If it was up to me, I think I would call a different company for my home, plus they hardly answer their phone too. Good luck whatever you decide.

Called Gilwee and spoke Chris and he suggested calling SMUD but said to call him back depending on what they had to say. Well I called SMUD and the guy was super unhelpful. Had me flip all the breakers including the big one then I couldn't get it to flip back. He then says it's an issue with the panel and to call an electrician . Called Chris back and he was so kind and SUPER helpful and walked me through getting the breaker flipped back (he said you have to throw your body weight into it lol) Got it back on then he walked me through how to find the outlet in the garage to reset it. He didn't have to do that and went out of his way to help me!!! If I ever need actual electrical work I will 100% call Gilwee and absolutely recommend to anyone!
