The cleaning went well My old bedroom carpet looked much better than before... the technician was a polite ,mainly Spanish speaker, & we were able to get basic ideas across (like how long for the carpet to dry before walking on it). The only negative was a detail about payment. I called & then emailed to find out where to send my check (old school!). The rep that I called gave an address (which I used) that was different than the one that was emailed back to me. When I wrote that I had already sent it I was asked to send a new check to a different address. I didn't & explained why & advised them to have the check forwarded. The company was very responsive and quick with a reasonable quote when I requested a rug and sofa cleaning. They were able to send out someone the day-of! The cleaner was however running late from a prior appointment by 25 minutes. She also didn't speak English and didn't clean pick up the sofa cushions to clean the backside. I had requested a cleaning service and had a horrible experiences. I asked for their availability and worked my schedule around to be available at the given time. ( I am not comfortable leaving them alone unless I use multiple times) First thing they didn't show up on time.(11:30 AM) I called the company just to find out that the appointment was not even in the calendar. The lady who answered replied they will be onsite in an hour(12:30 PM). NO SHOW again! Called the company a guy answered. I got the call back from the lady saying that the ETA is 1:10 PM! The cleaning was okay because they only did a partial job. Cleaners asked for more time but I had another appointment to go to in the evening. So I asked them to finish the downstairs only. They just vacuumed and cleaned around the rugs, no moving the rugs or cleaning under it. Bad customer service, when I asked to connect to the manager the lady asked me if I speak Spanish. ( apparently they have a boss who doesn't speak English) Ether they don't have good business value or don't pay the crew enough! read more

They cleaned everything up pretty good but, there were spots like the bottom of the window that were missed. They are very responsive if you would catch it while the workers are there, they would definitely address it then. I felt like maybe it could have went a bit quicker and they don't know how long the job will take until they get there. The workers arrived around 1pm and it took around 5-6 hours, which was fine because we didn't have anything urgent to do that day. This was the second time we used the service so, it is possible they assumed we knew the pricing. They sent us a bill but, after we paid they mentioned it was incorrect on their part and we paid a bit more. Overall they do a good job just be thorough at the end. We were in a rush to go handle some errands and small spots were missed. read more

So I have had them come over to my other house before and they have done a fantastic job. However, when I have hired them to come clean my other house that's planning to be sold in a couple of days....they're service was horrible. I had them come over yesterday to help me clean up my house, informing the manger ahead of time that this house has just finished painting a few days ago and it will need some serious cleaning. I opened the door to the house and left them alone to have them do their thing. 3-4 hours later, I receive a call from them saying that they had finished cleaning. I head back to look at the details before paying them but to realize their cleaning efficiency was horrible...(photos attached). Not only was their cleaning horrible, they made some damages to my house including the hole on my wall and a faucet detachment... Addition to that, I was trying to discuss with the 3 workers that had cleaned up my are that the place isn't clean at all. However none of them could communicate with us so they had the manager tell us that it's as efficient as it gets...they also said that they are charged by hour when at the beginning it was charged by quote. This is totally unacceptable with the service and attitude they had given us. The next time I wanted some serious cleaning, I would think twice before choosing this company. I did some extensive shopping around for rates for an apartment move-in cleaning, and finally landed on Always Clean SF! From the get-go, I had a really strong first impression by the quick response and upfront, informative quote. All communication with this cleaning company (thanks Anderson and Merlyn!) was straightforward and made me feel like a valued customer. They answered all my questions and were efficient about scheduling an appointment. I was looking for a move-in deep cleaning and carpet deep cleaning as well, so I was thrilled to find out that there was a 10% discount for the combo deal. (No other company I asked had offered that deal.) I couldn't be there myself on the day of the cleaning, but I sent a proxy to let them in to the apartment, and had 100% positive reports! The two cleaning specialists were thorough and paid attention to all the spots that we asked them to. When I walked in to the newly cleaned apartment, I was so impressed how it looked like a brand-new place (it was pretty dingy before)! Some highlights: they attended to all the blinds, got rid of some unsightly stains on the walls, and the carpet is wonderfully clean now. I really appreciate that they stuck to their quoted price while going above and beyond in their job. They were also wonderfully quick to send an invoice/receipt afterwards for my records. I hired two cleaners for 4 hours for a move out clean. The cleaners finished 45 minutes earlier than scheduled for and the apartment wasn't fully cleaned. I walked into the bathroom and there was still visible dirt all over the floor. They did not vacuum or clean the floors at all, just did a basic sweep. I'm currently at my old apartment cleaning all of the things they didn't bother to clean. They asked me if it was okay at the end and I just said "sure" because it was 7pm on a Friday and I was exhausted from moving. This company may be fine for your weekly cleaning, but I would never hire them again for any job that requires attention to detail if they don't bother to vacuum and mop the floors. I'm really not sure what they did besides clean my stove and kitchen counters. I tipped them the usual 20% because they were very accommodating when I overslept and missed the original appointment time, and the total ended up being $300 for a clean I was not at all satisfied with. I wouldn't have paid $150 for what they did. I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 only because they did adjust for my mistake. read more

So I moved out of a dump in Castro valley that wasn't cleaned to expectations when we moved in and the owner swore up and down she knew it was cleaned because she cleaned it. I'd hate to see her house if that was clean. After a search on Yelp I came across a handful of places, but the prices were outrageous. ($250-$300 for 2bd 2ba) Finally I came across Always Clean. What really drew me going with them was the fast response and vast description of what the cleaning detailed. It was very precise and very direct and the price was very affordable for all the services they provided on a move out. Merlyn was very helpful and accommodating as well as the cleaning crew themselves even though I was late for our initial appointment by thirty minutes. Once they surveyed the job and I emptied the rest of the house, they started working. I had to leave for work so they locked up afterwards. Upon returning to view the finished product, I WAS BLOWN AWAY! For a two person crew, THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB! The place was spotless and looked in better shape than when we first moved in. Every room was amazingly clean, the hardwood floors were shining and everything was dusted. The kitchen was IMMACULATE, you could literally eat off of every surface. The refrigerator was so clean, it looked brand new! The stove looked beautiful inside and out! Countertops didn't have a speck on them. The master bedroom spotless and the bathrooms were in tip top shape. This is how a house should look before you move in it! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Always Clean for ANY move in/move out cleaning job, as they are professional, thorough, detailed and they do what they say will in their description and prices are reasonable. Couldn't all good a better job to be done. My brother came to help and be said you guys had someone come and and clean the place and I replied of course we did. We used this company a couple years ago and they were amazing!! HOWEVER, this time, was a complete nightmare!!! From the moment we had them scheduled it has not gone right. We were scheduled at 12:00 PM and only after I contacted them did they try and fix the scheduling issue. The lady said oh it seems as I actually have you booked at 3PM...?? So I checked the messages on Yelp and sure enough, it was for 12:00. With "confirmed" as the response. Then they mess up again and state they can't do the carpet cleaning and need to reschedule that for tomorrow... ok, well not instead of leaving early am I am leaving a day later. I am extremely irritated but I agree. My wife an I move around our schedule and get another call stating they will clean the carpet tonight. I just shake my head and ask why time. 3 PM 4:07PM rolls around I they finally show up (only the cleaners) carpet cleaners I'm told are right behind them LOL! They look at the house (we are moving so most of the stuff is actually in the garage) and they tell us, there is stuff in the rooms we can't clean any room with stuff in it. Because of COVID.... So I asked for a discount since they were four hours late and are not going to even do half what they quoted. I got a response pretty quickly. The quality of the service for the price I paid was really bad. I had to remind them to dust in so many of the areas and even then it wasn't taken care of. The glass staircase was cleaned only on the area where I asked them to and they only cleaned that area and not the whole staircase. You quote a price for things one would think it would be cleaned but upon arrival of the cleaners, I was told about so many things that aren't included. So what do I think of when I have cleaners at home that they would only take care of the bathrooms and floors. The carpets weren't even vacuumed and furnitures not wiped which I would think is included as part of the service. So may be, you should be clear on what services are excluded. Thanks read more

First, I want to say I'm blown away by this company. I reached out on yelp looking for someone to do a move out cleaning on a specific day at a specific time. I was selling my house and wanted the new owners to have it cleaned. The company replied with a detailed outline of services AND they guaranted their work. They were more affordable than the majority of places I spoke with. They arrived on time. They called me to say they needed 2 extra labor hours for cleaning. I didn't understand that because my prior house was 986 sq ft. I thought it would be an easy clean. I agreed. They called me later and advised they would only charge me for one extra hour. I thought that was very kind of them. Even with the extra hour, they were still more affordable than the other companies I contacted. I also recieved a few photos. I was disgusted with how dirty the stove was underneath. The stove always had a yellow tint but now looks all white. It was incredible to see the difference. They are worth every penny. A team of two people came on time, were professional, and respectful of our home. The service included one bathroom on the main floor, a kitchen, and an upstairs bathroom. We were very happy with the main floor bathroom - it was thoroughly cleaned! The kitchen counters were cleaned and organized well, and the sink and the stove were impeccable. The floors could have used a bit more cleaning. The floors were given a shine but a few old dirt marks were left behind. We had to wipe them off ourselves. The upstairs bathroom could have used a bit more care, there was a residue of film (from the cleaning solution) left on the shower door. The shower door roller was also left unaligned so we had to prop it out to align it. Overall, we were happy. Although we probably should have taken our time doing the walk-through and inspection they offered at the end of the service. Would definitely book them for future projects! read more
