The crew at Alvarez is beyond amazing. My partner and I were towed to their shop after our Mazda 3's TCM gave out on the 128, 2 hours into a 10 hour drive back home to SoCal. Their crew, specifically Joel, was very attentive to give us a correct diagnostic and they were determined to help get us back on the road safely as soon as they could. Joel helped us understand what was going on under the hood, explained our different options, took the car out for test drives before handing it off to us once he was confident we were good to go. Thanks to their team we were able to make it back home, slowly but safely. Joel even taught us what to do in the case we had the issue with our transmission shifting gears. This is my first experience at this car wash...but it did not go very well. I did / inside and outside job but on the outside they did a poor job. The driver side of the car had looked nice and clean so I thought everything was good but when I got home I noticed that on the passenger side of the car that they did a really poor job...... They left one of the rims dirty...... Not worth $25+tip read more

Great job on my car, price seemed reasonable too, that is until I realized items were missing from my car. I forgot to take out my personal belongings and whoever was the one to clean my car took it upon themselves to keep those items. read more

Alvarez detailing is absolutely mind blowing! I had my 2010 Jetta completely detailed prior to putting it up for sale last year. When it was done it looked like new inside and out! when I was taking pictures of it in my driveway, for listing, a passerby came along and checked it out and bought it on site! I just now took in our '94 Toyota 4X4 truck for a complete detailing. I picked it up last night and it was dark so I could not see it well. when I woke up this morning I was literally stunned! Alvarez made our 21 year old truck look like new....the under carriage, shocks, fender wells, engine compartment, interior, and wheels were new in appearance. I don't know how he achieved it and I can say that the cost for the work was very reasonable compared to other detailers in town. I highly recommend this shop for your detailing needs. I met Alex the owner of Alvarez car wash about a year ago. I was getting my SUV repaired just down the road from the car wash the owner of the shop said that they do a pretty good job. Well the word good does not describe what Alvarez Car Wash is all about, and that is "Service" I found Alex and his staff to be very meticulous about their work. I found out the hard way to not go any where else except Alvarez !! Alex (owner) is a total car/truck guy an a badass custom builder . The shop is clean and nice , they have high end hot rods, big diesel trucks and classics so you know , they know how to treat your car ! These guys are friendly and have fast customer service . The star level does not reflect the service in any way. I was unable to take advantage of their service because when I pulled in to the driveway and asked one of the workers about a car wash, he said they are not a car wash and that they do details "once in awhile". They need to be removed from Yelp in the car wash category. read more

Top drawer service at very reasonable rates. They went the extra mile to make sure my car was clean and clean-smelling--it was pretty filthy from my dog and urine-scented from cross-country travel with an unhappy cat. Well starts with this I went to Sacramento to get oral surgery and puked all over my 2012 Honda Accord the front face where all the controls for stero/AC and inside the AC vent car charging port my door panel where the controls are for my window to roll up and down and to lock and unlock the door and I between the seat and the center console where my cup holders are and the rug on the passenger side and driver as well I set an appointment for Monday and we'll see if they can handle the challenge of makeing my car stench free from puke, and to see if they can clean the crevasses of my button layout/ac ports and rugs one can only hope! Well Iam finally here and the owner himself and my car doesn't smell like puke and my car is like if I where to buy it brand new fine a Honda dealership they definitely do an awesome job and yes everything I mentioned they did it Iam taking all my cars here and recommending EVERYBODY here!!! read more
