I will never use Alure again. Worst experience of my life. The "production supervisor" sucks big time. He sounded stoned whenever I spoke to him or my Husband spoke to him, actually my Husband met him , the only time he did show up at my house for 10 minutes. Day 1: 1 Guy who most likely worked for allure (great guy), 2nd guy was in training (nice guy), and the 3rd guy was probably picked up on the corner of 711. Day 2 & 3: 2 guys Day 4 & 5: 1 guy PLEASE if you even think about using Alure look into other window businesses 1st get multiple estimates before choosing. And Sal I noticed anytime someone posted a complaint about Alure you had something to say. What do you have for me.....? And before you write something: 1: Have your production supervisor drug tested 2: Find out if men are actually picked up on the corner of 711 3: You might want to revaluate your company. Honestly Sal no matter what you have to say, it won't matter. If I can get at least 1 person not to use you company, my work is done. read more

We went with an 'express' bathroom renovation that was supposed to last 2 weeks but went on for over a month, and at completion is still not correct - and was super expensive. We had them redo tile work multiple times (still not correct) and I spoke with the 'project manager' many times to complain and they do not handle themselves well. They have a variety of different sub contractors they use so no accountability or pride is displayed- and the PM was almost never on site. This work was done about 2 years ago now and I am still not over it- I finally felt like writing a review after their company continues to send me ridiculous solicitation emails. Do not use them. read more

I have to give kudos to Mike and Bert. My dad had Allure replace his roof several years ago. First off, they did a fine job. Came when they said, worked neatly, and as I said did a great job. Fast forward to last week. A leak developed around the chimney and damaged a ceiling. I called to see about getting it fixed. From past experiences with other companies, I anticipated problems. There were no problems, issues, or excuses. The NEXT day their tech was there, found and fixed the leak. After waiting a few days to make sure it was fixed Bert came to repair the ceiling. Incidentally, I expected to find dust all over. There was NOT a spot of dust to be found. This is how all business customer service should be. Thank you Mike and Bert. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Alure from their salesman Rick to project manager Emilio. I had my kitchen remodeled and all the floors replaced on my main floor. The job was completed in 10 days as promised and everything was done beautifully. Every craftsman that came to my home were extremely nice and work was perfect. read more

Let me start by saying that my wife and I waited 11 years to get our main bathroom done over so we knew the old bathroom had to go down to the studs. We got 6 quotes from bathroom contractors and Alure came in down the middle of the prices. They had great reviews so we went with them. To my surprise it was the best move we could make. Starting right from the Demo crew who taped up plastic through the whole house from the ceiling down and covered all the floors. They even covered my steps and walkway leading to the street. I was also getting an electrical upgrade for the house which was scheduled by Alure. The Electrician Matt was great and really knows his stuff. I was so pleased with him. Then we met our Installer Eric who was so talented and professional we felt like we won the lottery with this guy. He left nothing undone. He worked everyday hard from 8am till 4pm without taking any breaks. He always showed us and kept us informed what he was doing next and before he sealed or closed anything, he asked us if we liked the way it looked etc before he completed the step. When the job was finished it was beyond expectation. If I had any complaint which wasn't major it would be the saleman tells you the job is a 5 day job from Tues to Saturday. Realistically it is a 2 week job so be prepared. I also had an issue when I ordered my Tile and Bullnose, 2 weeks before the job the salesman told me my bullnose was out of stock and I would get an upgrade to use schluters instead. Schluters are not an upgrade, much cheaper. I wish the salesman would have offered us another tile or something compateble to the bullnose. I did complain and Alure made good with a monetary credit back, so no harm done. It did not affect our love for the job or defer us from ever using them again. Top Notch company who will give you a great job and stand by anything they do. Nothing is ever perfect but I feel like we won the lottery using Alure read more

One star only because I HAD to!!!! Waited 6 weeks for an appointment to meet with a 'designer' to come to our home. When she arrived I felt like I was at a counseling session with her constant questions about how I felt about things. She basically was filling out a form. After taking copious measurements and a 2 hour appointment (which she arrived about 15 minutes late) we made an appointment for 2 weeks later at their showroom to go over sketches. When we arrived (waking our 11 month old early from his nap and dragging him out there in the rain to make it), we were greeted by man who seemed shocked when we mentioned we had an appointment with our 'designer' which led us to believe she really wasn't there or had any plans to be there. The greeter advised we could tour their 3 floor showroom but with our baby we thought it would be difficult so we opted to sit and wait. After 15 minutes of sitting there no one came to check on us at all. And still 3 hours later not even an apologetic phone call. We are planning on MAJOR renovations and Alure you have lost out on our business!!!! read more

Our experience with Alure started out very well. Bob, the salesman was informative and professional, while the other companies we interviewed were not. We signed in November of 2018 for a siding job and two window replacements. Then things started going South. We were assigned a project mgr. named Bryan. I see in another review he did a great job, for us he was a disaster. This was extremely frustrating, Bryan the project mgr-he never returned calls, didn't show up, keep in mind contract signed Nov 2018, job being completed Aug 2019. This is all on Bryan. This situation and my frustration prompted me to write an email to the Director of Projects, Mr. Frank Stehlik where I outlined dates of communication with no response, our contract date and the current date etc. He responded quickly to me and after Bryan again dropped the ball, Frank took over the job himself. He came and met with us, went over the project in detail, making suggestions that improved the job and now, today August 10, the project is coming to a close. Our new crew is wonderful. Hard working and skillful. My husband is very critical of other people's work and he is even pleased! The end part of our journey has been wonderful, a complete turnaround. Should we have had to go through that? No, but the management has to be informed of ineffcient employees asap. Once I did that, the response was genuine and efficient. The quality of the products, the quality of the workman, and the integrity of Mr. Stehlik who proved he was a man of his word have ended this experience on a very pleasant note. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the bump called Bryan who delayed our project for 7 months due to his inefficiency. I love my house! It looks beautiful. read more

Called Alure for a basement remodelling consultation. The rep Tom came on as very arrogant, rude and untrusting. Would never give them a single project to handle at any cost. The worst consultation experience. Would never call them for any home improvement project. Do not waste your time with this company. I would not hesitate to give them negative stars if I could. read more

I highly recommend Alure for any home improvements. They made my home absolutely beautiful with new siding. The process from start to finish was flawless. From Bob the sales Rep. who made me feel confident in making decisions, to Omar the Designer who made a visual of my dream home and I cannot forget Tim who made it all a reality, the best Project Manager ever! They did my living room and upstair extension(previous owner actually fix it before selling it to me.) and it's poorly done. I usually don't write reviews or rates but every time I see what they did makes me mad. Cold air is blowing from upstair window, floor molding(sometime they are called baseboards or skirts) are not aligned and coming off. Before I notice all these, I was going to do renovation on my kitchen and garage. They were kind of rude when they came to my house and explaining the estimate. And the person who comes to your house is just the sales person. Not a contractor so that person cannot give you rough estimate either. I strongly don't recommended. I am so not pleased with what they did to my house read more

Alure is a great company. Frist they did our basement remodel and we loved it. So we went back for redoing our windows and doors. Do not even think about hiring them.I want to renovate my entire house. The first time they cancelled the appointment without informing me. Rescheduled it 1 week later saying that they are doing a favor to me. The 2nd time they called and said that the designer had an emergency and they have to cancel the appointment. The person Steve was not even apologetic. The attitude was like too bad nothing we can do. If they do this before the job I wonder how will it be after. read more

Had our small kitchen redone with Alure in June. Chris O'Neill came to our house with samples, advice and stayed almost 4 hours discussing our options. There was no way we would have had the ability to pick out tiles for the floor and the backsplash and the quartz countertops and cabinets and have it all come together without Chris' help. We were so impressed. Then we met Joe Russo......well, there is not enough that can be said about our project manager. He was there when we needed him and even when we didn't. His calm professionalism made us feel confident about everything. He would get back to us at the drop of a hat and patiently answered the many questions we had. I've heard that Alure is more expensive, but when you consider that EVERYTHING is handled for you - you get someone who calls you every night to tell you what's happening the next day, you have a project manager that takes care of you, employees who were polite, considerate and neat and basically you don't have to worry about anything, why wouldn't you go with Alure? This was exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got. We have two bathrooms that need to be done next year and we will be calling Alure. Almost forgot to mention that when there was a slight problem after the fact, they sent Greg from the service department. He took care of the problem and you could see that the gentleman was a real old school type repairman who took pride in what he did and even touched up things that he said needed it. Greg was amazing and I just didn't want to forget him in the review. read more

Alure did a fantastic job replacing 3 windows in my home. What made them stand out compared to other window companies who came to my home was that they worked with us on how we can reduce the size of one of our existing windows (we needed this done to fit a AC split being installed). Other companies refrained from this approach where both the sales team and installers at Alure knew exactly what to do. And they did, wonderfully. read more

We've had so much work done by Alure, they make the job easy by taking care of everything. Our first renovation was the basement, demo and installation went quickly and smoothly. A few years later we redid all our windows a roof and beautiful siding. Our last large renovation was the kitchen and laundry room. Designer Mary Lotardo made this easy and fun. I used this place to have couple of windows in my house. First window they replaced they cracked the drywall. Then they did not put the molding around the window back properly and did not seal it properly so there is a draft and water was getting into the house though the improperly seal around the window. Second window it doesnt open properly. It shouldnt take so much force to open a window. Draft from around the window. I know they have insurance but me personally I rather not deal with them again. You see there reviews on their page is only 5 stars. Because they take reviews like mine dont like what I have to say and poof they only have 5 stars reviews. read more

My husband and I saved for a couple of years in order to redo our bathroom. We got 3 estimates and one of them was Alure. They were a little pricier than the other 2 contractors but the convenience of their full service could not be overlooked. Like most of you we are busy, and the day Larry came to our house he brought all the samples we needed to make our selections. We had discussed on the phone and he had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for. After a couple hours and no pressure from him we signed the contract and give him our deposit Of course, I looked at the yelp reviews after the fact and was so worried that we may have jumped into a not so great deal. Then I realized that most happy customers don't take the time to write something nice. Unhappy customers do vent their gripes. Our job went smoothly and without a hitch. Joe the project manager and Freddie the contractor were great. The latter being amazing and detailed oriented. Even though we were thrilled with the results I was neglecting to write a review, but last week, a couple months after completion and almost completely out of my mind we received a beautiful thank you basket from them and that triggered my review. As an interior designer I highly recommend the Alure team for your bathroom and other remodeling needs. read more

Alure will put your mind at ease. We purchased a house that turned out to be a disaster. Alure helped to make our house a home aesthetically as well as safe and comfortable. I recalled their work at our previous home, a condo and how the windows changed the temperature of our home dramatically as well as keeping the noise of traffic out. Eric immediately showed up and followed up by showing us a rendering of the look which was a drastic improvement and options we didn't think we needed to address. After living here a couple weeks longer, we realized he was on point and everything needed to happen in this house. Today I am relieved Sal created this unique company and Tim managed the project. From windows by talented Francisco to siding by INCREDIBLE George and team to repairs along the way, gutters and leaders that not only look gorgeous but now the rain has the right place to go. We added shutters and a storm door. Each team arrived as professionals and when they left you never knew they were there working. They cleaned up every morsel daily. One key compliment is that communication was fluid. And that helps me as the homeowner have piece of mind. This is the business you want to update and beautify your home. Thank you Sal and Alure family. I knew years ago watching you on that amazing show where you fixed up homes for those in need you were a GREAT MAN. I am grateful. Thanks for being careful around the landscaping. Nothing was disturbed and we had major work here! I'be had so many contractors here. Alure fixed the mess anyone else left behind. It appears that the management of Alure is doing damage control but too late Well let's call a lemon company just that. Well Sal of Alure, pull out your records. My address is in Levittown , last name is Benigno, cost paid to you over $17,000 as well as additional monies for jobs you could not complete. Your company rep who checked in daily was Mark I believe. The contractor was just that. An outside contractor hired by you in his words. Our salesperson, Linda, never followed up. Too bad as we were originally looking for additional construction. Good thing I have all the emails for proof. It's rather sad. Your repair department was not good...so sorry. Finally a local plumber fixed the situation. I can't believe that you were unaware especially as my husband said he was going to contact the administration if the project didn't move along. What do I want from you? Nothing. Too little too late. So grow up...check your facts...look back into your records and really don't be so insulting to people who paid you in cash. We were the fools. read more

Deciding to make over my kitchen was a major decision for me and my family. Researching both by word of mouth and reputation I invited Carl from Alure to my home for a extreme 10 day makeover estimate. He patiently stood at my home for over 6 hours answering all my questions and showing me all my options. I was able to see examples of the products first hand which were fabulous. Carl was most patient and professional that I decided to go with the replacement of my kitchen. From the office calling me to schedule time frame and date of job to the completion has been extremely rewarding. The project manager Emilio kept me posted step by step. He gave me a schedule of events from the demo to plumbing to electrical to install of cabinets. My kitchen was installed and I was using my stove in 7 days. Wow! Alure gave our house pizazz. They did brick removal, siding, front porch, portico, and back steps. We knew the upgrade was fantastic; especially when the UPS driver passed the house, backed up, and then commented how much better it looked. Our neighbor admired the porch columns so much that her husband thanked us for having to hear how much she wants a porch too. Of course this magical transformation was completed by an awesome team. From the beginning, we were impressed with John Bernaudo, exterior designer. His no pressure consultation made us feel at ease and confident with choosing Alure. He was very knowledgeable and accessible. John maintained constant communication with us and periodically visited to make sure everything was going smoothly. He also was very helpful with choosing the right products to keep us within budget while maintaining our design. At the showroom we met with the talented Omar (sorry I don't have his last name). He transformed a photo of our house into various renderings of the final product. He was very patient and attentive. He understood how important these design decisions were and made changes for every request we made. He and John also took the time to research shingles and siding so the new construction would match the existing. Our project manager, Dan Salvagni, got the hammers going. He was very receptive to the input provided as the construction moved along. He respected our opinions and concerns. If we saw something, we said something, and Dan got it done. His team worked efficiently and were meticulous with getting things completed precisely. Alure's customer service team is also very helpful. Months after the project was completed, I noticed some warped lattice, and the cosmetic detail on a back step was askew. I spoke with Cathy Biggers who directed my concerns to the service tech. Needless to say they corrected the problems within a week. Thank you Alure for making my house beautiful. read more

We began our work with Alure for a bathroom renovation project 4 years ago. Patricia Nicolini helped us choose fixtures, tile and other components and design the two bathrooms which were completely gutted and rebuilt. Mike Kelly was our patient, professional project manager. This was a big project and it did have a few bumps along the way, but every issue was addressed. A few minor repairs have been necessary and Cathy in the service department returns calls immediately to schedule them. After the bathrooms, we have had windows installed (Bob Sansaverde handled that project for us) and siding (Mike Camastro) completed recently, all of which met or exceeded our expectations. Alure's departments are headed by experts in their areas, allowing the customer to receive accurate information and advice when planning and during construction. We have been very happy with the results of our projects and recommend Alure often. read more
