Alure did the siding on our house recently and I highly recommend them. Everyone who worked on our project was professional, patient and knowledgeable, and the project was done on schedule and without any issues! I love the way our new siding looks and I'm thrilled that I no longer have to worry about bees and other bugs finding their way into our walls. They also replaced several windows and everything looks and works great. We had estimates come in from several companies... some reps were out there, others were incredibly expensive, but Alure was a no-brainer. Thank you to the entire team at Alure for everything they did for our home! read more

We had our house renovated after Storm Sandy. It was one thing after another and now we are dealing with the bathroom falling apart. From the toilet not being set right to the walls leaking from the tiles not being properly installed. The amount of money in repairs that we have to do for a bathroom that is only 5 years old is insane! Be careful and look elsewhere, so you don't lose money like we are right now. read more

This is our 2nd time using Alure for home renovations. We renovated our kitchen and bathroom, as well as installed new flooring. Billy was our design consultant on both occasions and was extremely helpful. He spent hours showing us designs and going through our options. His dedication was greatly appreciated. Overall, we were pleased with the end results and their ability to accommodate the provided deadline initially stated. We also appreciate Martin and his team for meeting the deadline under challenging conditions, as there were a few unexpected delays in our work throughout the project. We would recommend them for home renovations. read more

I never got around to completing the project but I did contact them for an estimate and Mike came to my house and went over every possible detail that I had never even thought of and even in the end with more work than I thought needed to be done did come up with the best price. He was prompt, professional, and I would recommend using him and this company for anything that you need to have done. He has called me to follow up with out being an annoying salesman and hopefully next month I can get going on this project. I'm sure it will turn out as well as the service I have received so far. read more

I have been putting off writing my review of Alure because I want it to be perfect. I'm finally getting around to it and I might even add more another time. Alure just did renovations in our kitchen and both of our bathrooms and WOW!!! Everything came out AMAZING!!! We met Carl, our design person, at a home show and he came to our house a few days later. He had wonderful ideas! Something that I personally loved was his knowledge of the products and what we would need. I also loved that he had samples of the tiles in his van. My husband and I are both disabled so a big thing for us is no slippery tiles. Well let me tell you I just showered in our new shower for the first time and there's no way anyone is gonna slip in there!! Carl knew exactly which ones to recommend. He also knew which cabinets and countertops would look great together. I will add pictures soon too! Working with carl was great!! We then met with our project manager Emilio. To be continued. Phone batteries almost dead lol read more

This review is more about a particular person than it is about Alure (which I've already reviewed). Today we needed a few things looked at and repaired in our kitchen. Alure's customer service sent Jimmy Aguilar. He was on time, polite and professional. His work was first rate and he even went above and beyond in repairing a garbage bin pull out that we have been having a problem with for awhile. It kept opening on its own when it got close to full. He came up with a solution and had the parts in his van. Now it has been resolved and it works fantastically! He re-caulked the kitchen beautifully and repaired a small chip in our quartz counter top. It looks as good as new! read more

Was a customer in the past and had them side my home with no complaints. We were building a new home and figured we would stop by their showroom to discuss our project and see if they could help in our 300k renovation. The salesman we met with took our info and knew from our conversation that we were past customers. We emailed him a copy of our plans and then never heard back from them. Kinda shocked based upon our last experience and rather disappointed. read more

I did my house with Alure. We put a new roof in ,new siding, new Kitchen and Bathroom. It's been 5 yrs since we had our work done and Alure still honors their warranties for the work they did . When you call them about a complaint they respond and get the right man for the job! One of these right man for the job is JIMMY AGUILAR!!!! He's is the most knowledgeable men they have! We tell him our problem with what's wrong and he comes up with the solution. He is very meticulous with his work, and has great skills, great manners and is very polite. I would recommend him very highly! He is the best .Alure you did a great job of getting a guy like this. Thank you. read more

I contacted Alure for a bathroom remodel, the design consultant Diana Powers that showed up was so arrogant and rude and basically told me if I didn't want to spend more than $30,000 for our small bathroom that I would be wasting her time because she gets paid on commission. I couldn't get her out of my house fast enough, I have no time for people like this and would never hire this company for anything. read more

Looking to do a full dormer and brand new kitchen, bathroom and conversion of garage into a dining room. Easily a $150k job. Designer came to the house took notes and measurements and scheduled a second appointment at their office. We showed up in time, she was not there. Gentleman said he would call her and never came back to communicate to us what happened. We sat there in the lobby for 20 minutes without any word or explanation. Finally we just got up and walked out. No longer have any interest in dealing with them. We will not be answering any of their calls...if they even bother to do that. read more

Done in a quick turn around time they were really ahead of schedule and the workers they sent were excellent and their workmanship was very good. The end result looks good but if I would have known the issues below I would have made adjustments to the time frame and materials and made sure I was in the loop on every decision. The main issue I have is the three tired pricing package for bathrooms. there should be more fluidity as homeowners may want to spend more on certain parts of the bathroom and less in others. The tile selection overall is someone limited in quality and designs available. My designer did allow me to upgrade certain things like the vanity cabinet, tub, faucet etc. When I made my tile choice I specifically asked if it was porcelain and not ceramic I was told yes. However the floor tile was porcelain installed and they put the ceramic version of the same tile on the wall. That was not discussed with me and as I had the same color on both the floor and walls however the ceramic version has a darker less high end look to it. I would not have signed off on that as a buyer. If I order porcelain a conversation should have at least be had prior to installation that it is being changed from what I asked for. When setting the remodel up I wanted my bathroom layout to stay the same the electrician put the electrical outlet in a different spot too close to the back splash so you can not have a hair dryer and curling iron both plugged in at the same time because the plugs are too large and the back splash blocks the second plug. Again if they were going to change the location of the plug I would have liked someone to discuss it with me first. They do not paint however part of the design process once the dry wall is up they should allow the home owner the option to paint paint first before they put the tile and fixtures in as it makes more sense. Trying to paint around vanities, medicine cabinets, ceiling fans, and toilets don't really make sense after the fact. This should be discussed as an option to the home owner during the process. Once they put the new floor in it was raised much higher than the old one. I have two doors so the main one they caulked the other one led in to the bedroom and you could see a large cerement portion from the carpet. When the contractor came back out to fix it he didn't really have the tools or know how, he just ripped the carpet away tucked it under. I had to get a carpet person to come out and fix it Sincerely, Mike M read more

Recently, Alure did a 5 day rip out and remodeling of our upstairs bathroom. Before hiring Alure, we got estimates from three other contractors, two of which we previously used and was pleased with their work and a third who we often saw doing work in our neighborhood. The contractor who rebuilt our home after Sandy and did a magnificent job, but was too busy flipping homes on the north shore to remodel our bathroom, the other contractors needed us to do all the leg work to pick out everything going into the bathroom and could not do the work within the time slot. I checked out Alure thru BBB and saw they have an "A+" rating, also we liked the idea of a five day start to finish remodeling and a nearly one-stop shopping (Alure directed us to go to their approved vendor for the shower enclosure). The things we didn't like include: limited choice of tiles and bathroom fixtures, no painting of the walls and ceiling, shower glass and door is an extra expense and start date of Alure's selection. We went ahead with the job; their salesperson, Mr. Coen, was highly professional, attentive and returned calls and did follow up with us. The entire office staff were professional. The job start was delayed a week at Alure's option which caused concern because we did not have wriggle room in our availability for the work to start and end. Further, the dumpster was promised to be dropped off on the Friday before the job start, but was dropped off the day of the job start. The dumpster remained a number of days after the completion of the job. The three man demo/remodeling crew were fast, cleaned up each day and so far their work looks good - I hope it lasts at least as long as the previous remodeling (18 years). The install crew ran into a plumbing issue, they couldn't install the new baseboard heating unit because of our tankless boiler. When the plumber showed up, he thought he was only at the house to bleed the system as opposed to installing the baseboard heater, therefore he had to schedule another day for his crew to come by to do the install. The Alure job foreman came to the house only once, to pick up the second payment. He returned my calls usually within two-three hours. It seems Alure is a general contractor who subs out the work. The actual demo and install work took three days. However, the glass shower enclosure and install took another ten days, while the baseboard heater install took place during the wait for the shower enclosure install. We've lived through a number of home construction projects and expect bumps in the road. Overall the experience with Alure was mostly positive. What is troublesome are the added expenses for painting and the glass shower enclosure as well as the limited assortment for tile and fixtures. read more

I work from home and this afternoon I heard someone banged my front door loudly several times. I thought there's an emergency so I paused my work and asked what the person wanted. He was rude and obnoxious. I asked him couple of times "how can I help you?", he refused to answer but said "are you the home owner?" He then asked how he can leave contact information to the owner. I said leave it in the mailbox. Honestly if this is their salesman, I want nothing from this company or refer anyone to them cuz I can't imagine the type of people they hired for the jobs. read more

Dear Potential Customers, Hire an attorney before signing any contract with Alure. Their contract protects themselves and leaves the customer stranded. An estimator gave me a price for a LIFETIME GUARANTEE fiberglass main entry door. I signed a contract and gave him a deposit. One week later, Alure called me and they said they cannot make the door as was written in the contract, but for an additional $800 on top of the original $8,000 they can make something similar. I agreed and sent the money. The contract was signed on December 21, 2016 and the door was supposed to be delivered and installed within 6-8 weeks. Finally at the end of March 2017 they called to set up an appointment for installation. The installation was supposed to cover the lighting and doorbell. I ended up doing this myself. In November 2017 I noticed the door frame was splitting. I took some pictures and sent them to Millie Vernaci. I didn't receive a reply so I called Alure one week later and Millie accused me of damaging the frame myself. She said she would contact the manufacturer to see if this would be covered under the warranty. On February 1, 2018 she sent me an email stating that something hit the frame to cause the damage. After more runaround, on April 25 I spoke to Frank Stehlik who said he would take care of the issue. I tried several more times to contact Frank but he never returned any of my calls. Finally on May 15, 2018 I called and spoke with Cathy Biggers. I asked for Frank, was put on hold, and after 10 minutes she said he would call me. I told her I was promised several times since February that the frame would be fixed. I told her that she and her team were professional liars and over the phone she canceled all agreements and contracts for accusing them of lying. Hire an attorney to read through their contract before doing any business with them. read more

I hired them to install new Marvin windows for my 3 bedrooms. The installers didn't install them properly - light coming through the gaps on the sides of the windows, different size of gaps between right and left sides of the same window, different size of gaps on different windows, didn't seal/insulate around the windows properly... Long story short, I called and their sales manager Mike came along with Marvin rep. They replaced a couple of the windows because the sizes were wrong. But the gaps on the sides of windows still big and have different sizes of gaps on different windows, even different gaps between right and left sides on the same window. I sent them the pictures. They told me Marvin rep. has determined the gaps on the windows are "within tolerance". So it comes down to craftsmanship to minimize and even out the gaps. The sales manager came to inspect the windows the second time on 10/2/2018 and told me one of the windows still need to be fixed and he would arrange the installer to come back to fix it. That was last time I heard from him. I have sent them emails and called them a few time, no response. I think they stop taking my calls when they see my calling id. I paid $10,000 for my windows. The price includes 5 years labor, 20 years glass, 50 years frame as per contract. What good is their 5 years labor warranty when they don't even return your email/call to resolve the installation issue at the first place??? I have waited a couple months for them to do the right thing. It never comes. I am posting this review to warm vulnerable customers like myself to be alert with this company. Yes, I see they are trying to build up good reviews here. The question is --- DO YOU WANT TO TAKE CHANCE WITH THIS COMPANY? Does it worth gambling with your hard earn money with this company? Whatever they say or put on paper, it doesn't matter if they don't honor it. read more

After deciding to remodel our kitchen we contacted Alure for a quote due to their popularity and a referral from my husband's grandmother. She used them for her bathroom remodel and couldn't be happier with the service. Never would have thought we could design our entire kitchen start to finish within a few hours from home. The designer Rocco was amazing and helped us choose flooring tile, cabinets, back splash and the countertop. Even had some extra ideas we would have never thought of. The rendering design they provide is a bonus allowing you to see what the completed work will look like. They also give you a referral to Plessers appliances which was convenient as they work closely with the company (and their prices were cheaper compared to other appliance retailers). Plessers sent all the measurements for our new appliances to allure and scheduled delivery according to the project timeline. This made communication so much easier. The project manager Justin was most attentive and responded quickly to any concerns we had. He stopped by throughout the job to check the progress and answer any of our questions. Along the way of gutting the kitchen we found issues from our builder and even water damage in our electric box we never knew about. Alure took care of any issues that came up and made sure everything was now up to code. The work was done fast and aligned with the calendar they provided us for each day and different crews. Everything was very organized, which we greatly appreciated. All the workers were pleasant and again helpful with any questions we had. Along with the kitchen we had our back door replaced with sliding glass doors that have blinds inside the glass. They are a dream! We also had our gutters replaced and upgraded to wider ones. They have made the biggest difference and we no longer have flooding issues. At the end of the job, Justin made sure we were happy with everything. He really was great and I couldn't be happier with the service. We have received nothing but compliments and positive feedback on how amazing our kitchen looks. I love my kitchen! We are so happy with the end result. It was the best decision we made to call Alure. We will be using them in the future for our bathroom remodels when the time comes. We highly recommend them. read more

Well, I thought I was going to be the only one writing a negative review. I have heard positive things about Alure so hired them for my "5-day bathroom redo." Too bad 5 days has turned into 15 migraines, $4,000 and a pear tree! They send in a "designer" who is really there to schmooze you. The installers are NOT friendly and leave a MESS!! I have holes in adjacent walls 3 weeks later and this mysterious cleaning lady they speak of must be the ghost of bathrooms yet to come because she has yet to appear. They changed the height of the small decorative tiles I wanted and when I asked for it to be corrected, I was told $4,000 for a rip out or $800 for a replacement!!!! All I wanted was a beautiful bathroom that I would be happy with not what THEY keep telling me is a beautiful bathroom. read more

While soliciting bids for major roofing work in our gated community that amounts to well into five figures, I had one of the most bizarre contractor conversations I've ever experienced. I noted the detailed RFP I had sent the company and expected to be discussing that -- and only that -- with a company representative. Instead, he peppered me with unrelated and strange questions about former board members and other roofing contractors we had used. When I suggested we get back to the subject at hand, he said the company would "pass" on making a proposal. At that point, I was relieved because there's no way we would have given them the business with behavior like that. There are too many roofing contractors in our region to put up with such nonsense. What an odd way to conduct business. Update: The company's response gives prospective customers a good idea of the attitude we experienced in our dealings with them and is further evidence of our highly appropriate one-star rating and the Yelp average of just two stars. We can do much better in finding the right contractor for our major roofing projects that extend into 2021. It will be a nice piece of business for someone. read more

Allure Our nightmare is finally over. Eight months after my mother purchased a sliding glass door, with installation from Home Depot, the professionals from Allure removed and installed a new door for my elderly mother. I really didn't think Home Depot or their subcontractors would do a bad job, and my mom is on a fixed income so I thought, how bad could it be? Turns out, real bad. Eleven visits later, my moms brand new door was still leaking water into her house and on windy days you could feel the cold air coming in around the door. Home Depot response was, we are going to keep trying to fix it as long as it is under warranty. We decided to replace the door and take Home Depot to court for refund. Came to yelp and asked around "Who is the best contractor?" We had invested so much time into the door already, it was no longer about price. An overwhelming number said "Allure" many also said "but they are expensive". We got the quote and decided to have them do it. The team came out and removed the door and found the problem immediately. The pan that is used to prevent leaking and was left out of the first install was now installed, but cut in the front and back. The installers fabricated and did a little extra work at no charge to the exterior deck to make the new one fit and preform better. We waited two days for the caulk to dry and could not wait for it to rain. I hooked up the garden hose and in one visit they have solved our problem. We are still in talks with "Home Depoo" about replacing our moldy carpet and refund for their door and installation, but that will be my next yelp post. Thank you Allure, I would have saved money if I went straight to you guys. read more

Never followed up with promised estimate. An email message was sent asking where the estimate was. Two frantic phone calls were returned blaming "the engineer" My husband still had faith in them so he called back about two weeks later, Alure never returned his calls. Mr Ferro- I don't appreciate your response as it contains some untruths. At no time during or after our bathroom remodel did we threaten to go to social media to bash Alure. Also no one responded to my letter. As President of Alure, and since my letter was, in fact addressed to you, it was YOU who should have called. We received a phone call cancelling our scheduled appointment, I then wrote to you and was ignored. It was very nice of you to imply that Alure wouldn't charge for an extra day of work, but we paid for the entire job. It is your responsibility to pay your employees for time they work for you. And to be fair, I didn't even mention that you were fairly insistent on keeping a charge for an electrician on our bill, despite the fact that he didn't do work for which you charged. If you couldn't take the time to call me on the phone, please don't bother to answer in this forum. I'm only sharing my experience, after all, that is what Yelp is all about read more

This is actually a follow-up review about Alure Home Improvement home based ion Long Island New York. Alure originally contracted to rebuild the decks on my condo complex in Long Beach New York. They have now been back to the property 3 times to correct poor workmanship and bad materials that were used to replace our decks and extend them. We were told this was their Master building team. What a joke. So after I had spoke with their leads on the first attempt at repair who acknowledged proper repairs would require a level of dismantling the decks. None of that took place as they actually showed up with little to no materials so at what level of repair they intended to do past the dog and pony show routine that lasted a few hours. Net two attempts not much more either was done except some minor repairs a handyman could have accomplished let alone their Master team. So after two years almost and approximately $400,00.00 spent we have work that a group in wood shop could have accomplished. So after discussions with the last repair crew it became even clearer this is not a top flight contractor. I do understand that certain job aspects are farmed out. What we have here though is piece work throughout the job. Seems multiple subcontractors may have been used here. To quote the last repair team not of Alure "We are here to do repairs specified by ALURE and cannot speak to what the other contractor(s) may have done. So now we have to live with work as i see it we could have contracted with a company for far less money as opposed to the quality we have ended up with. Of course they wont do proper repairs as that would be a great expense to them and cut into the profit margin they made from this job. Bottom line this is not a quality contractor and I urge all to look elsewhere to have work done. Anywhere else but from this contractor Alure. My research has showed most reviews seem to state similar experiences and lack of proper corrective actions by the contractor. read more

Had a HUGE project with Alure a year ago. Ups & downs during this renovation, but everyone you speak with who has had any work done with other companies have same issues. As with any renovation, once moved back in, some things needed "tweaking" or "changed". Alure helped me more then any other contractor. Besides being cheaper, the my did an amazing job. I will def use them again

As you look for help in a construction project, avoid Alure. Our experience with the company was very disappointing. While the sales folks are good at what they do, the same can't be said for the construction crews. Even the painters (have to get someone different-they don't paint) said Alure construction did a poor job. We contracted with Alure to do two bathrooms - spent a fortune. Our saga began the first week in June and it is now the middle of September and maybe they will fix everything that is still wrong in the next few weeks. They claim that they can do a simple bathroom in a week --- WRONG - they are still working on that one simple bathroom. They say they will come to work but then no one shows (getting better now that I complained). We rarely saw the project manager - only at the beginning. And when the one project manager was out, there is no contingency plans - so the project laid dormant for a few weeks. They didn't clean up; damaged the carpeting; damaged the railing; installed incorrect tiles and plumbing; and the list goes on. The one good thing I can say is that Alure will keep coming back to fix the problems they create. If you want it done right the first time go somewhere else. An update: they finally finished the project at the end of December 2016 read more

I am writing this review to give Bert who is the most dedicated employee a well deserved Thank You! He has gone above and beyond to find the source of my leak from a recently remodeled Master Bathroom! We chose Alure for several reasons, and the 5 year warranty is a major one. Mike responded in a timely fashion and once Bert was on the project I felt completely confident that he would get to the problem and repair our leak. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy even going to the store and getting matching tape for my ceiling paint. Bert is an exemplary dedicated employee and we are most grateful for his genuine care and passion concerning this issue of repair. I would recommend Alure and Bert to anyone! read more

Just finished a 5 day bathroom model. Three notes of caution first and then the good stuff. First - not cheap. If price is your primary consideration, you're going to hire somebody else. Be prepared for your friends to tell you how much they paid for a bathroom, and be prepared for it to be less than you're paying. Perhaps by a lot. There's no additional surprise costs, though. We paid exactly the amount we agreed to pay on day 1. Second - 5 days is optimistic. It's basically "if everything goes perfectly" timing. Ours took about 3 weeks, although that was largely not Alure's fault. We lost over a week because our town's various bureaucrats dragged their feet with permits and inspections. We sat for a week until inspectors showed up to look around for 2 minutes and say "looks fine". Alure couldn't close the walls up and get back to work until that happened. Total working time for Alure was basically 8 days. Note - not all days are full working days. We had one day for demo, one day for electric and one day for rough plumbing before the installer ever came. Each of those tasks took roughly 4-6 hours. But nothing else gets done those days. Our electric "day" was done by 1 pm. Our plumbing "day" began at 3 PM and was done by 7. Third - they don't do painting. You're on your own for painting after they leave. Now the good. The team is fantastic and the work is excellent. Our sales person/designer, Larry, was as helpful and no-pressure as any sales person I've ever dealt with. The project managers were helpful and responsive. Alure does everything, soup to nuts (except painting), and that made it really low stress for us. And every person that came to our house was great. Our installer, Freddy, was unbelievable - diligent, great attention to detail, incredibly helpful design suggestions, flawless execution. He went above and beyond the call of duty - for example, volunteering on his own to shave our bathroom door as he was wrapping up the project because it was sticking, even though that was in no way part of the original scope of work. And our bathroom looks awesome. When you pay a contractor more than you thought you would when you first decided to undertake the project, and they take longer then you thought they would, and you're still really happy with the output, that has to be a good sign. So - be prepared to pay, be prepared to be without your bathroom for longer than a week, but also be prepared to get a great product from a really good, trustworthy team. read more

Update. The problems were rectified. After a long wait I do have to say the siding came out beautiful.

I had Alure in for the 5-day bathroom re-do, from beginning to end it was completely painless and resulted in a beautiful bathroom. Billie came in to quote on the project, was super helpful in helping me with my selections and I never felt pressure to spend anything more than I was comfortable with. He even made some low-cost suggestions on another project I was thinking about when honestly I would have spent a ton more! Freddie worked his butt off and did beautiful tile work and kept my upstairs clean, and was a pleasure to have in my house during the project - and actually finished the job a day early! And my project manager Justin was on-hand everyday, I had his cell number and he always answered and responded immediately to any issues. During the demo it was discovered that I had a huge hole under the siding in the back of my house from a long-term leak, they had someone come in quickly to fix it and it didn't affect the timeline of my project. Also got a call everyday from the "home office" reviewing the work, outlining what would be done the next day, and asking if I had any issues. Couldn't have asked for a better experience of a nicer bathroom, 5 stars!!! read more

Alure is a great company to deal with. We recently had our kitchen redone and the quality and workmanship was excellent. We loved the one stop shopping of picking out everything we needed in their beautiful showroom and our salesman was so knowledgeable with great ideas. As for the construction part, we had a foreman come daily that always kept us informed of what was being done and we always new what contractors to expect daily. There was no guess work and everything ran smoothly as planned. I plan to spread the word of what a pleasure it was to deal with Alure. read more

Just had our siding, gutters and windows replaced by Alure and they were great, highly recommend them. Sal and the whole team are amazing - top to bottom. Bob, our salesman, did a very thorough job explaining every item to us. He gave us a great price and best part was his no-pressure approach which my wife and I appreciated the most, this was different from many of the other companies we had quotes from. The digital rendering and design at the showroom was very helpful for us to see however different colors and designs of siding would work on OUR house, not just a look-a-like house. This was also something that others didn't offer. Bryan, our project manager, made sure that every detail was to our liking and that the crew did a high quality job. The crew (elmer/elmer) were great and easy to work with, asking our preferences to details to make sure our home turned out the way we wanted it to. Alure also had great financing options that made it a no-brainer for us to choose them, and we couldn't be happier. read more

After obtaining 3 other bids, my husband and I decided to go with Alure for the expansion of our half bath to a full bath. We figured with such a recognized company as Alure we couldn't go wrong. Little did we know. Our experience with the sales rep was great. He was open to our ideas and our somewhat indecisiveness at times. That was the extent of the great experience. Our project was schedule to be completed in 2 weeks. It took a month to finish. The Project Manager on the job was very rarely on sight doing no supervision and when he did come by he would play with our dog. Days would pass without anyone showing up to work. Second day into the job we had a major leak in our dinning room which was right below the bathroom being worked on, Leak was due to the construction being done. This did not get fixed until after the bathroom was completed - 4 weeks later. Because of careless work done by the plumber, our basement was flooded which costs us $900 to repair - which we had to pay out of our own pocket. We later found out the project manager has purposely not fixed the leak until the end in order to save Alure money by not having them have to return if something went wrong. We had to demand our Project Manager be replace because he was not performing any supervisory functions. We later learned that the same project manager had been kicked off other jobs. My husband and I had been getting the run around as to where some of our materials were. For almost a week we waited for the sink counter top to be delivered. We were told that it takes time because of measurement and what not. Complete crap! If it wasn't going to be completed in 2 weeks, they should have budgeted for that delay. It has been about a month since the work was completed and we are still dealing with this Company, from noises and water coming out of the sink when the toilet is flushed to another leak in the dining room. To add insult to injury I'm constantly getting emails and letters asking for our review and to share our experience. Seriously!!! The project work was not properly managed and the plumbing work performed was not done to professional standard for the amount of money we were charged. We made it very clear - we will never use Allure again or refer them. read more

We have know Alure for about 7 years now. Our first experience was Alure coming in to re-do two of our bathrooms seven years ago. The job went fabulously and a fairly complex renovation was executed flawlessly within three weeks. Our next experience started more than 1 1/2 years ago when we decided to tackle a major renovation to our home. The plan was to break through our existing kitchen and build into the attached 2 car garage and the brick shed that was attached to that garage - the plan move the kitchen to be built into the shed and one bay of the garage as well as part of the existing kitchen, we also built another bedroom in the other bay, turned the 1/2 bathroom into a full bathroom, and add a 2 1/2 car garage in the other corner of our property..... this was a massive project. Alure worked with us on every aspect of this project from our original idea and their helping improve it, to the kitchen and bath design, and the garage design. They also provided the architectural drawings and facilitated all of the permits and logistics. We had three main contacts - Pat N. our kitchen and Bath Designer, Jim Q. our Construction lead, and Rick B our Project Manager. We worked with them as not only their clients, but as their partners, and together we went from concept to design to implementation. This was not only the largest project the me and my wife ever undertook (execution was just beyond 9 months from the point of breaking ground), but it became a source of pride and incredible satisfaction for us. We are done now and we often reflect on the project, the continual reviews with our Alure team, the occasional revisions, and the outcome; not for one moment would we change any part of this. With Pat, Jim, and Rick leading the way Alure delivered a first rate project that we cherish and will provide us with pride and joy forever. read more
