Got this area blocked for no reason.
    Tabatha M.

The place is run down, most of the interactive areas are out of order, the blocks in the pits are falling apart. Police caution tape around areas. They need an upgrade, especially for the price. We have a membership but every time we come something is broken or you can't use the area. Whoever owns this franchise needs to do a major upgrade. Update: talked to one of the manager they are waiting on parts for things.

Broken games (on the right). Been broken for years.

This place pisses me off. They charge literally double than their competitors yet everything is dirty with holes in the walls or equipment that has been broken for YEARS and still not fixed. They also have zero staff that will eliminate any riff-raff. Also, the popcorn is stale, they only have 1 flavor of icee working, and 1 option of chips to choose from for snacks. Waste of money! I can offhand name 4 other trampoline parks that are 1000% better and cheaper that are close to Gastonia. Cmon altitude either fix your stuff or just shut down.

I brought my littles here for the morning toddler time. I love that this feature is offered, it's nice to have somewhere for little ones to let out some energy and gain some confidence with their motor skills. Overall the park is a nice size, plenty of jumping space and features. There were only a couple other parents present, so it was easy to share the park. I also liked that they had kid friendly music on the speakers. My reason for marking down the stars is that it was dirty. There were crumbs and candy on the floor that my almost 2 year old kept picking up around the entrance. Some of the trampoline pads had gum stuck to them and candy wrappers, popcorn, and other snacks were littered about. There were also quite a few places with old water bottles, Gatorade bottles and paper cups. Seeing as it was only 11am and they opened at 10, I doubt they had a party that just ended. One staff member seemed to be busy getting stuff in order. The other two sat with their phones out and chatted. At the end of our session I asked to use the family restroom (it's kept locked), but decided against using the toilet after seeing how dirty it was. We just washed our hands and left. A step stool would be a nice addition for children in the restrooms. If you decide to come here I'd suggest coming in long sleeves and pants and then just shedding them at home to wash.

    Main area.

This place has potential. The day we visited was a Wednesday, but during Holiday break for kids from school. So you would think they would have all attractions open. The high course was closed, 2 key jump pits closed, and 1 worker doing check in and food. Do not come hungry! They don't have any hot food items. Only candy and sodas. Also, it is not a drop off facility unless they are over 16. They did seem to be watching that rule. It was a clean facility and equipment was in decent shape. I did count several workers on the trampoline floor. I think 1.5 hr is long enough..

Terrible place to leave your kids at. You can't trust them to be safe even long enough to use the bathroom

Staff are great! Not crowded. Nice families were there. Normally they have promotions going to help with ticket prices.

My daughter was happy to see her kids having fun. But to put the cakes and presents on a rack is down right....stupid!! Some teenager got ahold of one of my grandsons cakes and stuck his/her fingers in it and destroyed his cake!!! The employees threw the kids out, and gave my kid a discount on the party..but this in my opinion, should have been handled differently. Those evil kids who destroyed the cake should have been held, their parents should have been called, and a police report should have been made about it. They should have been made to repay my daughter for the cake, and half the party. The cake that got destroyed was for a child whos non verbal autistic and it was his first ever birthday party!!! Defy needs a better way to make sure this NEVER happens to another child

It's terribly disappointing the negative vibes I get from the patrons at sky zone. I have an adult…read moredaughter who has developmental disabilities and even though it's not blatantly obvious or severe enough for you to say hay that girl has issues it's so disgusting to me to try and spend time with her in such a judgmental place. So sky zone is for everyone I asked management myself before even buying membership. The place is over run by toddlers and little kids which is great they need a place to blow off their energy and get exercise and socialization I am totally for that but I'm sick and tired of the judgment from the parent or guardian of these kids acting like you have no business being there with your child. It really sucks and it reminds me of Colorado and California with their entitled behavior. So I canceled my subscription I'm not interested in being around nasty people if it's a choice. I have seen grown ass adults with their children and teens my daughter is in her early 20s but looks like a 16 year old. And we just want to have a place to have fun and socialize but this is not it. They have fantastic activities really fun things to climb on and jump or swing but no specific age group has direct access and if this is a policy they want they need to make it very accessible to be known this is only for little children. Or maybe have schedules where certain age groups have access without the bullcaca. Also I felt uncomfortable trying to jump on a trampoline in one spot for fear some little kid is going to run past and I might step on them or fall myself and hurt them by accident. I really think that they should have a schedule where certain time is age appropriate so accidents don't happen and everyone can enjoy it. That being said the staff is nice but we were harassed by an older woman with her toddler and I wish someone would have approached her and said something because she doesn't have ownership rights to anything and we were not even in her business she was just offended because we didn't fit the cookie cutter.

Luckily a lady came by after a while and asked if we were attending a party and let us check in through the self service kiosk... In my opinion, someone should be on standby as guests for parties are arriving to help them get checked in quickly and taken to where the party is taking place. When you book a party, you select a time slot, why not have the party coordinator receive the guests as they come?? It would make the process a whole lot easier.. I have not been to Urban Air since my son had his Birthday there a few years ago, but I can see a decline in the cleanliness of the establishment. There are just a bunch of young kids working here that have no conflict resolution skills, the place was dirty. I did like that they had everything set up before hand for the party, that was nice. They provided the socks and wrist bands for the kids, they provided the pizza as well. Overall, despite how I felt, my son and his friends had a great time, and I guess that's all that matters! They have zip lining, bumper cars, a ball pit, trampolines, VR etc. So a lot to do for sure.

Kids enjoyed it, although some of the play areas are very small and restrictive. There's not too much to explore. Ball pit obstacle course and trampolines were fun. Pizza was gooood! I would highly recommend! A reasonable price too. Bathrooms are all the way in the back, but they have plenty. It was a fun time as always at Urban Air!
