Coaches are too busy comforting the kids who are too scared and need to go home until they are ready or too busy with the unruly kids to actually teach. WAYYYYY too many times I had to check someone else's child becasue their parents failed to do so. Parents sit in the car or are too busy on their phones and laptops. They treat this place like a drop in daycare. The amount of times I've seen a brat harass my child and nothing was done is ridiculous. My child simply wants to learn a cartwheel. One simple thing. I even paid for privates. Yet nothing. It appears you have to be a certain color or have the same views as the people who work there in order for your kid to advance to the next level or else your kid is just there for fun, not to learn and grow in their craft. They mainly cater towards white boys and push the black girls to the side. Ive seen the girls team practice and the boys team practice and the boys get more instruction and conditioning than the girls. It's a shame because the girls are all black, I wonder how it would be if the girls were white. read more

Went to the adult tumbling class today..this was just a recipe for disaster. If you want to see someone break a leg or get kicked in the head this is your place. To start there were at least 30 people in the class, with 1 coach. Having been a gymnast in the past, I know how important safety & caution is in a gymnasium. Not a single rule or cautionary measure was explained at start of class while many of the attendees had never been in a facility before. First 30 mins was stretching & warm ups, including people throwing extremely dangerous moves including front tucks with no effort to stop potential injury after multiple disastrous executions. At one point the coach even said "you all signed a waiver", seeming to not care if anyone was hurt. Second half of class was a free for all with all of the gymnastic stations...although it wasn't possible for the 1 coach to monitor everyone, she didn't even try and instead practiced her own tumbling. There was no cool down stretching. This felt like a cash grab, won't be back. read more

I was a little disappointed because it advertises all levels for adult tumbling and it's really not. I did a class it was instructor led for 1/2 and then free play. Being new it would have been nice to have some guidance from an instructor during the free time. Luckily a retired gymnast was nice enough to help me. read more

Look, I have no complaints. I had no intention on writing a review but wanted to help the ratings as I am a fan of this place IF not for nothing else than the punch card pass. Adult classes Individual Training Boys Team Girls Team Beginner Classes for older kids They could offer more evening or day classes for the Punch card classes/group kinds of solo style. I like and appreciate places that demand the best of the paid student. Trust me, we come from a great place out of the Midwest yet that pad did have less bark for my money. I'm like the kid isn't here to get smiles and kisses. Nope, we're not trying to be Olympiads either BUT it's worthwhile for the kids to learn 1) Proper nutrition, 2) Proper warm-ups and cool downs with stretching 3) Proper form and technique. Coach Alex has two other Coaches that step over from the boys once they are done to give 1:1 feedback and some ladies that are also gymnasts that help on the alternate days (Mondays, I think). read more

As a mom of two competing gymnast my children's safety is the most important part. These experienced coaches are hands-on. No skill is taught or pushed until the child has mastered the base skills. The gym offers a wide range of classes for all ages and skill level. This allows my soccer player to do core building in his off season. The coaches are involved in team building and building a community. When a skill is mastered be it a boy or a girl they all cheer! The most awesome part is that this is a competitive boy and girl gym! You don't see this very often! It is worth stopping in! read more

I went here for over 5 years for adult tumbling. Alex is one of the best spots that I have ever had. They will work with you no matter what level you are as an adult. I was able to get a standing tuck here. It wouldn't let me post videos so here are some freezes. They have gymnastics floor, tumble track, trampoline, pit, and an air mat. read more

Our daughters have been going here for years and started off in their toddler programs and our older one is now on Team. They have very friendly staff, facility is clean(all things considered; like it's a gym with lots of sweaty kids:). Paulina has always responded to emails or questions. All staff are available to answer any questions really. Hours are wonderful for all ; especially for working parents(both husband and I) and have day and weeknight hours and weekends. This really helps as the tide has changed and more parents are co-working. They have well organized meets. The girls teams have good coaches with some turn over(but this is an issue in most places I've heard and experienced) so you have to be realistic. Their coaches promote individual growth and really encourage your daughter to "step up" ad they see that potential. They are well balanced in approach to coaching. on one hand they have higher expectations with the team girls and want to them do well but don't "crush their spirit" in doing so. I would love for them to get more coaches for the girls Teams as this is probably the only weakness I would suggest to them to strengthen. The owner is always present. Always personable speaking and engaging with the gymnasts and parents! To me that is so important because he truly has a passion for this sport and that kind of energy boosts that gyms moral. They are apart of USA gymnastics which is the conventional and authentic gymnastics organization to be on if you want your child to do anything further upward/elite/professional even get scholarship for college where was some other gyms use the AAU(amateur athletic league) which is more for recreational gymnastics and NOT recognized for advanced gymnastics as mentioned above(another important note). They are up to date with technology as in website is up to date and their is a parent portal that you can do absolutely everything on from asking questions, payments, schedules (adding/changing). Their coaches now use iPads for schedules and STATS during practice). I highly recommend this gym and I've waited a solid two years to write anything to make sure my opinion as a mom with two girls in Gymnastics(one on Team) was fair, based on experience and honest:) read more

I bring one of the kids I nanny for here every Friday and it's a really nice place! Huuuuuge gym space for all ages. They have multiple classes going at once and have plenty of room to spare. There's a big viewing area upstairs for parents and onlookers as well as a smaller area downstairs. They have a vending machine and what looks like a snack bar upstairs...not sure when that's open though. The coaches seem nice and easy to work with. Wish I were still a kid so I could attend!! read more

I had both of my daughters attending until the older one and her cousin (7 year olds) started complaining of being threatened with 30 push ups for not doing a move correctly. The coaches are young and like to socialize and are not paying attention a lot of the time. So if they didn't learn the move it was because they are not being taught properly. Last week one of the coaches was talking with another coach during warm ups while fixing the kids positions with her foot. There should be undivided attention on the children while they are there and the parents are paying for the class. The waiting room and facility is also very old and dirty. Today was their last day because of these reasons. They lost 3 students. I will add that my younger daughters (4 years old) coach was great, her name is Emma. If the older girls had a coach that was as caring, attentive and instructive as Emma we would have stayed even with the dirty facility. We will be looking for a new place when the girls are ready to go back. read more

I had my 7 year old daughter in there for a little While and it was going ok for a little bit then she started telling me that she didn't want to go to gymnastics bc the coach is mean and threatened her with push ups if she didn't do something right. One day after gymnastics she ran crying to me after it was over telling me the coach made her to push ups again that was my last and final straw! she is not going there anymore we will be looking for another place. The young coaches were not paying much attention to them socializing with each other more then focusing on the children. read more
