My experience is in terms of their camp my daughter attended and Toddler Time. I find the location very convenient to my home in Fort Mill. Tot Time has always been fun for my kids. There is at least one worker on the floor and a plethora of age appropriate equipment available. Today Cassie very kindly explained how to use the equipment safely when my daughter wasn't and also was hands on helping interested kids in basic tumbling skills. My daughter loved the camp this summer- I felt it was organized, fun for kids and also they took safety as a priority for pick up. read more

Don't sign contract with this gym unless you know what you get yourself into. Don't sign it because of your kids come out after try out class and told you they're happy and enjoy it. It takes couple weeks of practice to learn that it's not the right one but then you can't end the contract. My daughter got injured at practice, she had doctor note for not allowing her to do anything and I brought the note to the gym to ask if I could cancel our contract. They said according to the contract I had to pay 80% of the remaining tuition of the remaining months, which was $200 a month for 8 months of doing nothing so we kept our contract. When my daughter came back to the gym, I kept telling her to be extra careful and not doing anything that she didn't feel safe. Basically, it's my kid's job to keep her safe rather than the coach's job. And remember to document every time your kid fall and get hurt at this gym. I called them to inform about the injuries and all they said was sorry and please updated them with her recovery but they didn't put that in my daughter's file. I assumed they kept the record until the owner told me that there's no record of her injuries and she made it my fault. So in my daughter's case, the coaches ( her Ariel silk coach and her gymnastics coach) didn't inform me or even called me when the incident happened. I found out when I came to pick her up. My daughter told me that she saw kids got hurt very often at this place. This is not a safe gym comparing to her old gym. I had two competitive gymnasts and through out those year of practice at Metrolina Gymnastics , we had no injuries at all and my daughter was here for three months and she had two injuries. The last one happened that put her out of the gym for three months. I feel that their contract is to protecting the business and is so unfair to parents. Life has so many uncertainties and hardship, but the parents had no ways to cancel it without costing them a fortune even with legit reason. My daughter came to Carolina Flips for an Ariel Silk class and she fell on a floor without a mat and had a concussion . Her coach didn't call us and she made my daughter sat out until the class was over. Since we had a contract that we couldn't end it at that time because I didn't bring up the safety issue. She switched to do recreational gymnastic class and she fell in love with the sport again. Coach Ximena was very nice and made her feel comfortable to be at the gym. My daughter had been dealing with anxiety and didn't like to go anywhere but she's looking forward to come to practice to be around coach Ximena. That's a big deal for us and we really appreciated coach Ximena for what she had done for our daughter . However, during the practice she slipped on the mat and hurt her shoulder that she had to stop coming to practice for a couple months. Fast forward to now,the gym asked us if we wanted to renew the contract , I told them I don't want to renew it. They asked me why and I told them she didn't feel safe. After hearing our reason, the owner told us that we needed to end the contract now. I'm fine with ending the contract but she had 13 tokens from missing 3 months of practice that she needed to spend within a month. For my daughter case, it was impossible to use them all in a month and the gym would not refund the money. I asked them to extend the contract to another month so my daughter could have time to use her tokens but they said no. The lesson I have learned from this gym is I would never sign a contract with them and I would never recommend my friends or family to send their kids here. Even though my daughter would be very sad because she would not see coach Ximena but taking from the owner's advice to me " she would never send her kids to a gym where she doesn't feel safe or stop letting her kids coming to a gym where the parents don't feel safe. " I really appreciated her advice and I would take her advice to share it with my friends and family . read more

My daughter participates in cheer and tumbling here. We moved from a very small gym to Carolina Flipz. Since moving, my daughter has grown significantly as an athlete particularly in her tumbling skills. Her tumble coach, Coach Amber, is the best. She really knows how to help each individual athlete grow and perfect their skills. Her cheer coaches are also great. Not only is the coaching staff awesome, but the other athletes she is teamed with are all wonderful as well. It truly feels like family at Flipz. read more

Carolina Flipz is hands down the best gym we have been at. Both of my girls have cheered here. They both have experienced other gyms (big and small) they both had lost there passion for the sport. I have been bringing my children to Tot Time for 4 years multiple days per week! They learned to crawl and walk here. They were able to play and explore the gym equipment with my assistance in a clean and safe environment. The staff is fun too! You can buy punch cards so that it's even more reasonably priced. You get 12 visits for the piece of 10 visits and they never expire. We have also done their summer camps! Highly recommend! read more

I cannot say enough about the great experience my daughter has had at Carolina Flipz. Coach Ashley specifically has gone above and beyond to help my daughter work through some serious separation anxiety. They do right by their families and it's clear that it's more than just a business to them. Past coaches still greet my daughter by name and take an interest in how she's doing. As a cheerleader and coach I have loved my experience in this gym! Flipz offers a variety of classes that are engaging and let's your kid wear out so much energy and teaches them gymnastics, cheer, ninja warrior classes and so much. Well they teach your kid how to tumble they also teach them how to grow as a person by listening, learning, respecting, using teamwork and so much more! I have become friends with athletes in all programs! The coaches are all so positive and love to give every child a welcoming, happy, and fun place to be!The front staff are also very caring and truly care for everyone in the gym! The owner is very fond of communication! As a cheerleader the coaches push me to be my best past what I think I am capable of and truly care about every athlete.
