Sat for a few more minutes before a server arrived with menus and took our drink orders. We were looking at the menu and it's not clear what you get with your selected item. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. I wasn't aware it came with fries. But surprise! It did and they were weird. My friend ordered. The chicken fried steak and was told it came with sides. That was not stated anywhere on the menu, so she scrambled and made her choices on the fly. We did enjoy the fried pickles and fried "cheese curds". The quotation marks are because true cheese curds are cheddar. These were definitely mozzarella. My friend is from Wisconsin, so we were sad to see mozzarella, but they were good just not what we expected. We sat in the room that you walk into instead of the room with the bar. All I can say is it was eclectic. Boho meets a longhorn cow. Pick a theme. Will I try again? I don't know. If you look closely at my photo, you'll spot my tie bar sitting on the table after I surrendered to the inevitable.
