I had just left work and accidentally left my wallet in my girlfriends car so I was panicking. I passed this small auto shop and pulled in! I was greeted right away by a very friendly gentlemen who told me he didn't have an electronic Siphon tool but he would do it the old fashion way for me at no charge! After he finished removing the bad gasoline I thanked him repeatedly (he litterally saved me huge money on a blown motor) he asked where I was going I said I'm gonna push it a crossed the street and see if I can ask a few people for pocket change till I get enough to fill the tank which was about 3 dollars! He shakes his head and says wait here! Comes back with a dollar and says it won't get you all the way but it's a start honestly this kind of generosity and human empathy is so rare theese days! Writing on behalf of my mother…read more A very unfortunate incident with a 4x4 post just below the sight line of the car left the two doors on the passenger side of her car badly dented and scraped up. The cheapest estimate from a body shop was north of $4000. Autosy Auto Spa came to the rescue! For much cheaper, they were able to make the car look so much better - for nearly a tenth of the price they did 80% of the work. They were honest, forthcoming, and did incredibly detailed work. They have earned my mom's business for the rest of her life, no doubt. I would recommend them for anyone with detailing, scratch repair, or paint matching needs in a heartbeat. Go visit them and let them know what you need. They will tell you the truth and do good work for fair prices. TL;DR: Autosy Auto Spa is awesome!

I don't…read moreknow much about mechanics in the area and was unfortunate enough to have my car break down on 302, the day before a long driving trip to Tennessee. As I slowly rolled into a nearby parking lot, I immediately called AAA for a tow (these guys are the local AAA towing company). I didn't know what the issue was but my car was overheating and the engine light had gone on. Arghhhhh!!! It was 4:30 on Sunday and I knew, that in Maine, there are no late night car repair shops (I'm from Ohio where you can find someone to work on your car until midnight). I opened the hood and sure enough the belt to my water pump had broken (later I learned the water pump had gone bad causing the belt to split). So I sat there and waited. A series of events happened that don't pertain to this business, but eventually the tow truck driver showed up (I think his name was Bobby?) and he helped me out. We ended up taking my car to their repair shop. I was going on faith that I would have a good experience and that they could get my car fixed ASAP, the next day, so we could hit the road. I knew nothing about these guys other than they were close local and that "Bobby" worked for them. Well it wasn't quite ASAP, but they did get my car running the next day and they did a great job making sure it was road worthy again. I had a good experience and would return to them for more mechanic needs.
