10/10 would recommend!! I had a meal prep lunch bag, that had a broken zipper. This zipper was a weird shape and in a weird spot on the lunch bag. When I dropped my bag off, she stated she may need a special machine, but that she would try anyway. She gave me an estimate of 2 weeks. And she was spot on! 2 weeks later, she or her daughter texted me saying my bag was finished. Flor was absolutely adorable and so friendly. Her business is inside her garage, but looks just like a shop.! My price was extremely reasonable at $25. I will add photos later. My bag is like brand new! Flor perfected my wedding dress. I was so nervous because I've never had anything altered before. She was so welcoming and listened to my wants. We did three sessions total and was happy to adjust things as I wanted. She was communicative and really reasonable in pricing. Her daughter was there and was great at scheduling. Payment was easy through Venmo. She really cares about her clients. One day I wasn't feeling well and she grabbed me water and juice and was so patient until I felt good enough to continue the consolation. Updating my review to one star. I had a few issues. I wanted to get my wedding dress bustled and she didn't even describe all of the options for me. I wasn't aware there were different ways to bustle a wedding dress but she should have explained all of the options as she is the expert. I just told her I wanted it bustled and she said ok, come back in a few hours. I ended with a loop on the outside of my dress right on my bottom, where it was visible to everyone. I was so upset and came back to get it fixed. She said she couldn't remove it because there would be a hole there, so she moved the loop to the inside. But when I bustled my dress it was too tight on my bottom and looked terrible. In the end i would have preferred to just hold my dress or put a loop to wear around my wrist but I couldn't do that. I wish she had just explained all of my options and we could've avoided all this. I also came in a total of three times. On the second time I paid fully in cash and didn't owe anything the third time, because she was fixing her mistake. She accused me of not paying because they never wrote on the receipt that I paid in cash. If you use Flo, pay with your card so you have a receipt. I was trying to do them a favor because they prefer cash, so I went out of my way to withdraw cash from the bank and then get accused of not paying. She finally believed me after I showed that I withdrew the money from my account on the same date of my appointment, but I would not get a wedding dress or expensive clothing altered here, just based on my experience. I personally will not be going back at all. read more
