If I could give zero stars I would. Angie had my wedding dress since December and my wedding is in April. My dress had to have the sides taken in, the bustle done, the straps added and hemmed. When i went in December the back didn't close. When i came in for my first fitting on Friday the 03/21, the sides were incorrect and the dress still didn't close. I mentioned to Angie that maybe i gained weight but i could lose it and she proceeded to tell me i can't advise you but at this point there's nothing i can do which crazy right, because you're a seamstress, you should know how to open the back or make it a lace up corset or add a mesh panel. At that point like any other anxious bride had to get out of the dress as i was panicking that I didn't have a dress that fit for my wedding. I told her to keep the dress and set a different appt to come back and fix the sides. That night I asked if there was anyway she could add more mesh material to get it to close as she said it was only off by an inch. She said it was too risky for her to take on. I advised i wanted my dress back and reset to what it was. She didn't respond at all until after 4 messages, 2 missed calls and a visit to her shop the next day to which she didn't answer. She responded and said she couldn't respond because she was upset (UPSET? I am the one with a wedding in three weeks) and proceeded to tell me it was basically my fault because i gained weight, started doing weights and it wasn't her fault and even had the audacity to mention that i had an anxiety attack when we needed to try the bustle. After going back and forth i finally got my dress after still having to pay her IN FULL FOR A DRESS THAT DOESNT FIT AND SHE WOULDNT DISCOUNT BECAUSE SHE REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY DRESS. I called multiple seamstresses that all said they could fix it. After taking it to alterations today to a different place, they are finally opening the back after giving me plenty of options and fixing her uneven hem on top of other things. By far the WORST service a bride getting married in 3 weeks could experience. Angie was completely unprofessional at the end of it all and I would advise you to go anywhere but here. read more

Bought a bridesmaid dress at David's Bridal for my daughter and took it to Sew Diva for alterations thinking that they would be reasonable. Let's just say now I know why they're called Sew Diva. About $160 just to hem the dress. She looked at the sleeves that needed to be adjusted like it was her first day. Ended up taking the dress back to David's Bridal, got way better service and they were able to do everything that we wanted done to the dress for $150. I desperately needed help with an adjustment on a football jersey. The name on the back was misspelled. It was a tackle twill jersey and letters had an interesting stitch. I needed a letter removed and the remaining letters removed and moved to the left (to remove the gap), which made seem almost impossible to fix. At least that's what I was being told. I contacted at least 10 different seamstress and sent pics to see if it was something could assist with. Some told me I would have to send it to them with a $100 deposit and they would let me know. And then I found this gem! I reached out to her and she asked for pics, which I sent. And then we spoke on the phone in greater detail. She said, she would need to see the jersey to really know whether or not it was something she could fix. She then offered to meet me half way from my house! Really? You're going out of your way to meet me?? How awesome is that! We met. She's extremely professional and sweet. She advised she would try the first letter and if successful would proceed. If not, she would let me know. Did I mention I met her on I think it was a Tuesday and I needed it back by Friday night? No pressure, right? SHE GOT IT BACK TO ME THE NEXT DAY and it was PERFECT! I ordered a drape for our patio door. It came from China , which I didn't know when I ordered. It was a draw type , drawing right to left. When we hung it the left side was longer than the right. The right side was shorter about 12 inches in. I contacted Angie, got an appointment for her to look at the drape and see if she could fix it. We came to a meeting of the minds. After a major delay and alteration nightmare with the boutique that I bought my wedding dress from, it was a blessing to find Angie! She was truly my angel. If it was not for her talent, passion, and dedication - I am not sure what I would have worn on my wedding day. I contacted Angie on Facebook the night of 11/07/17 and gave her a brief summary of what was going on. She accommodated me for a consultation the very next morning.
