Angela is an outstanding instructor who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. She walks around the room, provides individual feedback, and makes sure everyone is performing movements safely and correctly. It's clear that she genuinely cares about everyone in the class and wants them to succeed. What sets Angela apart is her energy, attentiveness, and motivation. She is loud and clear when giving instructions, so everyone can easily hear and follow along throughout the workout. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she creates a positive, encouraging environment that makes the class both fun and challenging. I've taken the class with another instructor before, and the difference was noticeable. Angela stays focused on coaching and supporting participants rather than getting her own workout in. She makes everyone feel welcome, supported, and confident, regardless of their fitness level. The bungee fitness classes are an amazing workout, and Raffa is an excellent wellness facility with a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch programs. I highly recommend Angela's classes to anyone looking for a fun, effective, and engaging fitness experience.

The float was really relaxing, but sadly the music did not work properly. I heard it for the first 10 minutes and after that I wasn't able to turn it on again. The beauty bar was clean and well decorated and has a lot of products such as deodorant and heat protectant, but I wish there was more variety of aftercare products. Also, the beauty bar is not totally suitable for individuals with curly hair textures. Overall, this was a good visit. I definitely enjoyed the calmness and the explanations for the experience!

I have such a "love-hate" relationship with Spalight. When they first opened, this place was an…read moreabsolute dream--meticulously clean, welcoming, and my go-to spot to totally reset. Unfortunately, the facility has hit a bit of a decline lately. What used to be impeccably dry, clean floors are now prone to dust and hairballs, and it's gotten so wet in the wet sauna areas that they've just started putting out "caution" signs instead of actually keeping it dry. I've seen quite a few people slip. Even the "unlimited" towel perk has been downgraded to a strict two-towel limit, and the food portions and quality have shrunk exponentially compared to the cost they charge it at. That being said, there is one major saving grace: the Korean auntie who does the body scrubs. She is an absolute legend and deserves a massive raise for everything she puts up with! She's the main reason the experience still feels somewhat authentic and worth driving to. The rooms are also on the smaller side, so if you go during peak hours, it's definitely more "crowded" than "calm." Honestly, the only reason I still make the trip is that it's the only K-spa within a reasonable driving distance from Boston. If there were more local options, I'd probably skip the decline here and head straight to NJ or NYC for a higher-quality experience. It's still a decent option if you're desperate for a scrub and a soak without the four-hour drive, but I really miss the high standards they had at the beginning.

The 60 minute float was the perfect amount of time for me. I did fall asleep at some point which was nice. I was super sleepy and relaxed for the rest of the day. The float tank also does a great job of relieving minor aches and pains because you can stretch with no weight on your joints. I wish that I had thought to turn the lights off in the room before I started, because there was a little bit of light seeping through the cracks of the float tank. You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need. The cost was $55 for one hour as a new customer. Definitely hoping to come back here and I've been recommending it to everyone!

The masseur was so intense it was actually hurting me. He did not check in once to ask if the pressure was okay I was jumping around the table because the pressure was so hard. He was dry rubbing me it was not relaxing at all. At one point he left the door open while people were in the parlor and I was in my underwear I had to look up so he would shut the door. Also, I never got my foot massage. I still tipped over 20 % but i probably wouldn't return unless a manager reached out and offered me another massage with a different masseur. Also, the people waiting were so loud and no one asked them to lower the voices. They literally were talking the whole time loudly until they man and woman went into their appointment and then were quiet. It was just over all bad experience.

If the gym had a Mount Rushmore reproduced outside it would include 4 portaits of his face. Without Al you would have a pretty solid gym, but because of his presence the gym is upgraded to heights never achieved by any establishment that has ever existed in human history. Forget the rating above, it does not do this gym, or the man, justice. Easily 10 or even 11 stars in my book.
