I just moved to TX from the northeast.... My truck failed inspection for my tint being too dark in the front windows, and my other vehicle did not have any tint previously. I saw these guys on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I did the truck first, the owner was very thorough with explaining all the levels of tint, and what was legal, and considered illegal levels of tint. It made making my tint choice very easy. This was in December, so it was Texas cold, so the owner informed me, instead of standard week, give it about 3 weeks to dry properly. 2 weeks later I did have my Benz scheduled for tint, so I decided to check how my truck was doing notice 2 slight bubbles on the passenger window, and had mentioned it to them when I arrived, he said give it another week and it will be good , if not they would redo it. So I got the Benz done all the way around, and the owner did mention to me that they had cracked the back dash, while trying to install the tint. I took a look at it, and could barely see the crack, so I said don't worry about it. I was happy they mentioned the crack to me, that was very honest of them, and goes along way. All in all, a week later both vehicles have amazing tint jobs, and look great. read more

These guys are solid and their work was impeccable. My wife recently used a different place that she found on Groupon, and had to return the car multiple times, and it still isn't right. In addition to that, she just failed her inspection because the tint is too dark...ugh. I went with the best film, and I also added a transparent film on the windshield which cuts out a significant amount of heat. Like I said, there were no bubbles, perfect tint, and they were done in like 2 to 3 hours maximum. Trouble free, true to their word, easy to deal with, super happy that I chose them. Terrible. The manager was impatient and rude to us and run us out after we asked to see samples or a car with the tint on it. Had never been treated that way. We were looking at spending close to 1600$ on 2 teslas. On top of that he lied as he told us that our new teslas did not have uv protection on the roof. That left us unsettled. I ended up calling Tesla directly and confirming that our roofs were uv protected. Alta mere was trying to make money on us by having us spend extra money tinting the roof against uv rays. The place is run down as well so I don't understand why it gets some positive results. In this day and age I can't believe there is a business out there treating customers like dirt. THEIVES! took my car in to get tinted. My friend was with me whenever we dropped the car off. Every key was on the keychain. After we picked the car up, we started working doing doordash and didn't notice that our key fob to get in our apartment building had been taken off. There is no physical way possible the key fob broke off the keychain as the keychain was in tact and all other keys were still on the keychain. The key fob itself is very thick and is HARD TO REMOVE. YOU CANNOT REMOVE THE KEY FOB BY PULLING ALONE. I called and spoke to the manager, who disregarded the issue very disrespectfully. THIS IS A MATTER OF SECURITY. WE ARE YOUNG FEMALES AND OBVIOUSLY THEY SEEN WHAT CAR WE DRIVE AND WE LIVE JUST UP THE STREET. I FULLY BELIEVE AM EMPLOYEE TOOK MY KEY FOB TO GET IN MY BUILDING. I will be notifying police soon to view cameras on the property. read more

Just got my windows tinted on a new Dodge Challenger. Communication was good, I scheduled an appointment in advance so no issues there. They finished in about 1hr and 40 mins which was a little faster than originally forecasted, so that was a plus. Paid just over $300 for the mid-grade quality tint out of the 3 tint quality options. Fair price. The only instructions I was given was to not roll down the windows for 2 days. During my drive home my wife reminded me to park outside in the sun and not in the garage. I called Alta Mere to confirm they agreed and they did. So I guess they could have explained the curing process a little deeper. My driver side window has 9 bubbles in the tint down near the bottom of the window/top of the door. My hope is that these go away after a few days. Every other window looks flawless already except this one. They look like air bubbles to me, but I'm hoping they are moisture that will evaporate. Guess I'll find out soon enough and will adjust my review based on how it comes out. Overall, they were friendly enough and I was in and out fast, having made an appointment in advance. However they prob could have given more details on the care and curing process. I'll edit the rating and review based on how my bubbles turn out, I'm cautiously optimistic at this point as they have not changed in size or appearance after 2 days baking in the Texas sun. But again, I'll follow back up in a week or two. The rest of the car besides the driver side door look fantastic. Would recommend these guys. I was refused service for simply asking questions, doing my due diligence, shopping around for the best company for the job, and researching to try to find the best window tint for the best price. I reached out to this company because I wanted to find the best company to install my window tint for my new Mercedes C63 AMG. After just a few basic questions, it was clear to me that the individual I was chatting with just wants people with dumb money as customers, that he wants customers to just give him the money and trust whatever he says. The person was condescending, implying that I'm not worthy to be "educated" by him and that he doesn't want to deal with me as a customer. I was never disrespectful to him or his staff. Nevertheless, he banned me from using his services. Honestly, with that attitude he most likely sells substandard window tint anyway since he can't stand the scrutiny of questions. I ended up going to Bonnie and Clyde window tint and got ceramic tint for a significantly lower price anyway.
