Alta Mere helped remedy an unpleasant experience from our car dealership. Our new car had many pieces of dust and even some hair under the window tint. We purchased the vehicle outside of the DFW metroplex and the dealer graciously covered the cost of fixing the window tint in DFW. Alta Mere was able to get us in the week they found out about the scenario and handled things with the dealership well. Their staff was extremely pleasant and explained the process and care for the tint. The tint was applied about a month ago and cured more quickly than I expected, even though I was told it could be. Here is update. Thanks for the comment. appreciate it. Well, I have never refused. Don't try to cloud the issue. Your job did totally ruin my glasses. my back seat glasses have lots of scratches too. Front quarter glass has significant distortion vision. Yes, You successfully messed up all of my glasses and you are not taking your responsibility. Again, I have been communicating with you by texting. You should consider not everyone is welcoming to have a call or visiting to hear your rejection on commitment. All in all, the most disappointed part of it must be you guys took back your commitment and not honored the commitment without agreement or any. Even you guys asked me to sign on document that is very unprofessional. You would think you may always flip any commitment if you want. You said but I have not heard all in detail process and I have never convinced how you guys working safely for the glass. Nothing was presented to me about how you guys working carefully. Per your logic, if you said you didn't then I have to trust you based on nothing. You said you did not then I have to take that? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's very disappointed that this shop does not honor customer commitment even with document. Visited to remove tint and the guy estimated 2hrs and the job was just done in an hour. After came back to home, Noticed that job was done obviously in hurry. - glue residue is all over the place and still stick to the glasses.(I had to remove glue residue with glue remover again and clean all window with micro fiber.) - tail gate glass has a lot of swirl. back to the shop showed the swirl on tail gate glass to the guy. The guy told me that he knows - Many of shop use scotch brite that cause this but they don't use it. - Probability is it was done as a part of prepration of tinting(why? who use scotch brite to remove dust for Tint installation ) - they use plastic card wrapping paper(can paper towel be permanent?) BTW, The guy offer to me that replacement of glass if I'm not happy with it whatever reason as they are the last person touch the glass. then asked me to sign on document(and I did sign on the document). I was so glad at such a convenient offer. Next day the guy(might be different guy) reach out to me that over text.(I usually don't use call work hour) - they would not honor commitment because of I'm not original owner of the vehicle. (Why they asked me to sign on the document and what is that document for???.) - Instead, they will put transparent tinting film..(no thank you) - they did not make the swirl because other glass are ok. so they didn't. (This can't be any clue. What if they do ok job for other glasses and they mess up tail gate glass? tail gate glass is most tricky part and they know how to hurry. What was the secret to complete job in half of an estimation?) - there was not any sorry for not honoring their commitment. Kept me pushing to visit or call them. (they don't honor the commitment and why I need to visit/ call them.) Just be aware of that the document they use is just nothing for them. It's been over 6 months since I had 2 front windows tinted here. I got the solar ceramic tint and I am happy with the results. I was sold on that level after testing out the demo in store. I took my new 2023 Corvette to Alta Mere Plano to have Paint Protection Film applied to the front half of the car as well as to have the windows tinted to reduce glare and keep the heat out. I took my car at the scheduled time and they delived the car on time as promised. They did a great job on both the PPF and tinting. They were very friendly and professional and I was very happy with quality of the job they did. About 9 months later I noticed a very small place on the PPF bubbling up and took it by Alta Mere. They immediately agreed to redo the affected PPF under warranty and took care of it with friendliness and professionalism. Came in to have both my moon roofs tinted. We discussed different options and selected a shade. Upon receiving the car back and pulling out I noticed it wasn't as dark as I was expecting it to be. I called them back immediately while 5mins down the road and they were more than helpful in making it right. They took my car back right away and redid the tints in a darker shade. When I saw all the positive reviews for Alta Mere I checked out their website and then reached out to them to learn more about what they had to offer. Not only did they reply fast, but Randy (one of the owners) was the one to talk to me! He was so helpful, honest, and let me know that they also installed audio equipment! After a chat about what that could look like, Randy referred me to Crutchfield to buy the items I wanted and then I went by after it all arrived. What can I say, Alta Mere is hands down the best tinting place in north dallas. They have done a couple of my vehicles over the years and I received the same quality work. My first job was done in 2010 and the film lasted for five years until I traded my vehicle in. Second job was done recently and it's perfect. I am particular about this Tx heat so I generally get the top of the line and as dark as legally possible. I opted for the SolarCeramic and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The price was within my budget. I was expecting to have to wait for a couple days to get in but they were able to get it done the same day I called and in only an hour and a half. Spoke to Sean and scheduled my F-150 for a nice tint, scheduled it on a Thursday @10am and the day before, I get a reminder of my appointment which with my busy schedule I completely forgot about it. Sean is an easy and nice person to deal with, very professional. I ended up getting the Solar Ceramic Plus for a fraction of $545 + tax a little expensive than the regular Solar Ceramic film $360 + tax and I tell you it has a big difference from the Solar Ceramic Plus as soon as I got in to my truck, the heat inside is way way much better than before I say (no tint) is at 70-80% heat and with tint is at 30-40% less heat which my AC will no longer work hard to cool the inside of my truck. The work job is excellent and I give them a 5 STAR, employees are polite and very professional and I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.
