From the moment I walked up to her register, she greeted me with the kindest smile the kind that makes you feel instantly comfortable and taken care of even after a long day. She made small talk and asked me about my day which sometimes we need that from a stranger I had a pretty full cart, including a few items I needed for a last minute family dinner I was hosting that evening. Of course I realized too late that I'd grabbed the wrong type of chicken broth, and the aisle was halfway across the store. Before I could even say anything, Yazmin noticed my hesitation and asked if everything was okay. When I explained, she didn't just point me in the right direction she personally called for assistance and when no one was immediately available she jogged over herself to grab the correct item. She came back in less than a minute, still smiling. On top of that, she noticed that a couple of my produce stickers had rubbed off during bagging. Instead of holding up the line, she quickly entered the codes from memory something I've never seen a cashier do that fast. She was patient, upbeat, and treated every customer after me with the same energy. What really stood out, though, was that as she finished bagging my groceries (organized so nicely, by the way) she reminded me about a digital coupon she noticed I hadn't clipped. She took an extra moment to help me pull it up on the app and saved me almost $15 on my total. Now in days It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about doing their job with this much pride and kindness. Yazmin went far above and beyond and Vons is lucky to have her. I left the store in a better mood than I came in and that says everything. If you ever find yourself at this Vons, do yourself a favor and go to Yazmin's lane.
