But if you look at other ads, it has to be the same price as the ones where you buy three you get them at this price. Little games all the markets play. I don't blame them. My family pulled over to use the restroom which we were able to do, then I found some cool Hotwheels, the "Ultra Hots." They don't have those in San Diego where I'm from. Cool! I also spoke to a really friendly female staff member who was helpful; wish I could remember her name but she worked at the check out desk in the medicine section where you have to buy your meds before leaving the section. I bought Tylenol and Ibuprofen since my family and I were in a car accident today. She was so kind and wished us all well and that my family wasnt in pain. This Ralph's has always been my go to store. It has GREAT prices and specials, can't be beat. The problem is...whomever is restocking or doing inventory checks ISN'T taking out the EXPIRED ITEMS! This candy that I just bought expired EXPIRED 6 MONTHS AGO!! That is simply not okay. To make this worse, this isn't the first time that I've bought items that were long expired. I have returned PROTEIN BARS that expired months prior. I even spoke to a manager that said that they would look into it. Clearly they either neglect it or simply don't give a sh*t. This is not okay, I've been shopping here since I was a teen and this is the last straw. Who knows what else I have bought that was already expired. Note to management, stop promoting the young ones that can't even check the items thoroughly. I'm pretty sure it's unsafe to sell expired items. read more

While walking out, I was absolutely disgusted to see that they were selling the Epoch times, the only newspaper available for purchase that I saw. After years of shopping at Ralph's in Chino Hills then in Monterey Park so when we moved to West Whittier it was our decision to continue with Ralph's. A couple years ago we started going to Ralph's near Colima and that worked. When Stater Bros opened on Whittier Blvd we moved to S B., but that was short lived so back to Colima. Today was tired and only needed a couple items so I returned to Hadley. I found that isles are restricted, barricaded and has it's own Cashier. I was there for aboit 10-15 minutes but did not see a Cashier so I drove to Colima to purchase some detergent and softener. This is sad. read more

I shop here pretty often, I find it convenient because I live really close. A couple things that I do not like is that I have to go to the cashier line to buy toothpaste instead of self checkout. I use self checkout often because there is usually long lines in the regular cashier lanes, so having to get in that line to get toothpaste is inconvenient. Sometimes the produce is rotten or things are expired so it's a good practice to check the dates before you purchase. read more

My review specifically targets the Bakery department. Customer service at this bakery is outstanding, they made a cake for my daughter in one day! The nice baker was professional and very helpful under my short time frame. The cake itself was good..however not great. ( little dry) The cake is already baked and shipped to the store, so not the nice bakers fault. The strawberries were fresh and decoration matched her photo. All in all .. considering the price tag of everything now, 60 bucks for a 1/2 sheet was a good bang for the buck... plus you can't go wrong with great customer service ! read more

Very horrible experience every time I go in to the store the security guard follows me to every aside just staring I have Deborah videos of him following me even to my car , I've filed police reports for harassment and I've talked to managers and yet he's still in the store and I'm not the only person he fired this to I have actually gathered a few signatures of people who he has done this too it's hard to think that the store hasn't yet gotten rid of him risking a law suit .sucks because this is the closest store to home might have to switch to stater bros read more

If you need to place a pickup order DO NOT use this Ralph's! They always take forever to bring out your groceries...what's the point of setting up a pick up time??? My husband and I usually go in the market to do our weekly grocery shopping but every now and then we need to do pick up. We only did pick up at this Ralph's a few times when our usual Ralph's stopped doing pick up, but thank god our Ralph's is back to doing pick up! The last time we did pick up here we waited over 35 minutes after notifying the store we arrived for our pick in the app. I tried calling the store to see what the hold up was and no one answered! Not only did they take forever to bring out our groceries, but they didn't pack 5 of our items and we were charged for them. I had to go through the apps customer service to get refunded. I love this story everyone that works on it but I have three kids and I have nothing but problems with Roblox no one by Roblox from there. The status is wonderful, but they have no idea how the cards work and not very helpful with the cards. This is the second time I have had an issue with the self-service cashier Sylvia . She accuses me of stealing . The first time was Labor Day when I bought a few items and assistance. Was called . She said " are you stealing ? We have lots of people stealing . " I had my debit card in hand and was ready to pay . She was extremely rune . Even an another customer asked her what the problem was . Today I could not check out in self-service and the register called for assistance . The register now has a video on it . She said let me check if you stole anything . I told her no I am ready to pay . Worst customer service . I have been coming to Ralph's for over 30 years . I am extremely disappointed . Stopped by to buy some turkey from the deli counter for my daughter. The worker who assisted me was playing music (which is fine) but he had his phone in his hands. I assumed he would put his phone away and prepare himself to assist me. NOPE! Instead of putting his phone away, he put his phone on TOP of his head. Obviously it kept falling off & so he kept picking it up. He began slicing my turkey & not once did he change his gloves...the same gloves that were holding his phone are now holding my turkey. And yes, the phone kept falling off his head. After he was done, he gave me the packaged deli meat but i ultimately didn't feel comfortable with it and gave it to another employee by the register. read more

I've been to many Ralphs locations. Some good and some not so good. This is definitely a good one. I work at PIH and stop here every now and then to get a snack or something I don't feel like picking up on the way home. This store is always so clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly too. My visit is usually quick too. Ample amount of self-checkout registers open. read more

Very upset. Today was the first attempt at a drive up order. At 1pm, I placed a relatively small order to be ready between 5p-5:30p. Got a call at 4:45pm from a girl stating they were running behind and that it wouldn't be ready until 7p-7:30pm. I called at 7:15pm, still not filled. Mind you it's an easy order, a small order. We usually only come here when we can't find certain items at Aldi since their prices are slowly going up. They have the best blueberry muffins here . If I can put a 0 star I would. Only because the "manager" in charge named STEVE, was terribly rude. Not helpful at all. I tried asking where certain items were, and he did not help at all and just pointed to certain aisles . I felt like a dog being told where to go. Overall this Ralph's market is just okay. Mostly clean, but the isles feel somewhat cramped. I don't really like the meat selections, that is - no grass fed/organic steaks, etc... But my biggest gripe is the many times I've found expired food on the shelves - everything from salsas to boxed wines (okay don't knock it until you try box wines ) Customer service doesn't appear to be concerned when advised about expired item....they make money if you buy it and don't return it...... good luck read more

I frequent this Ralph's because it's the closest to my home and they carry the cherry tomatoes that I like. Yes, I've had the damn cherry tomatoes from Whole Foods, Traders, FnE, Sprouts, home grown, I've tried them all. The damn brand that I like is addictive. However, I recently discovered that the Stater Brother's across the street has the same cherry tomatoes for $1 less. While this may not seem like a big deal, it is kind of huge in my world since I purchase 4 of these packages a week. I'm a lycopene lunatic.This blew my mind! Overall, this store is okay. The only problem I've encountered with customer service is with the deli counter. I ordered a sandwich and the employee told me I had to get the bread myself. For my own sandwich. That I was going to pay 5 bucks for. I was baffled, said never mind, and walked away. I will say that the people manning the rest of the aisles are really cool. Produce people are nice and checkout people are generally friendly. It does suck having to pass by solicitors out in front because I don't like feeling like a jerk if I decline to engage in conversation or just want to pop in and out. I realize it is not representative of the store, but it can be a deterrent. Also, the pens at the trail mix/granola station are never on hand, so be sure to bring your own otherwise you'll be waiting at the checkout for a whole lot longer than you bargained. For whatever reason, I'm always stuck behind the broad that bought a bunch of nuts without writing the SKU on the tag or the random jerk that wants to challenge everything on the receipt. NO ONE EVER asks if I need anything. Getting any of them to even acknowledge you any where in that store is impossible. God forbid you need to ask any of them a question. All of the associates in the Whittier Market Place Ralphs look extremely unhappy and are unwilling to assist you if you need it. The managers are the worst. I ordered a boars head ham holiday meal. Got ready to cook/ heat and I was given a Kroger private selection ham. I had no time to go and get another one. I called the store and Steven the manager was very kind and said he'd look into it and call me Monday. I didn't hear back so I went I to do my shopping and spoke to him again. He felt bad for not calling me on Monday and he remembered so I didn't have to explain myself again. He had investigated it and when I was there it was found they wrote down the wrong order. We like to go during less busy days but when we do, the lines go quickly and the staff is always friendly. Love the wipes for the carts and the lotto ticket machines. Worst possible experience ever! If you like to be treated like a thief while using a self check out then this is the place to be!!! Not only will they hover as you try to complete a transaction but also check under a baby seat cover to make sure you aren't hiding anything under there. On 4/5/20 I placed my first Home Delivery order on Ralphs.com. It was order # 1200970311041067504. The first available time it gave me for delivery was Thursday 4/9, four days later. With the covid crisis, this was understandable, but it was disappointing that moments after placing my order, the app was offering same day delivery. Unfortunately, I had already placed my order. I might have canceled and tried to get an earlier delivery date, but I couldn't trust that I could be assured of the new time that was being offered, and I would have needed to start my order all over, so I let the original order stand. I asked for no substitutions, except for one item. Yet when I received my order, I found that they had given me "low sodium" bread. I did not order "low sodium" nor did I want it. Also I specified no substitutions on the 20 cans of cat food I ordered. Cats are very finicky and will not eat certain food. My cats will not eat tuna or beef or friskies country dinner. Of the 20 cans I ordered, 11 cans were flavors I knew from experience my cats would not eat. I took these items back to Ralphs in Whittier today and they refused to take them back. I said then you should at least give me credit. This was a waste of money I did not ask for. They would not. They said my problem was with instacart. Not Ralphs. I ordered these items on the Ralphs app, and I specified no substitutions. They said it wasn't their problem. I tried to change my rating for the order today after Ralphs refused to give me credit for the wrong items. I got a message telling me the rating and tip could no longer be changed. This is to say nothing of all the text messages I received just prior to my order being delivered, telling me certain items were not available and would be removed from the order. Why couldn't they have told me this at the time I ordered. I placed this order for delivery so that I wouldn't have to expose myself to covid unnecessarily. I am 65 and have medical conditions that put me in a vulnerable group. I had to go out to the store anyway, after the order was delivered, just to purchase the necessary ingredients for meals I had planned to cook. Store is always well stocked, even though the current pandemic, shelves have been kept up. The place is clean except the bathroom.
