Finally gave up on 7-eleven hot dogs. The 7-eleven closest to me hardly ever has any. If they do, they're shriveled and dark brown from sitting on the grill all day. Then there's the issue of buns. You now can get your own bun without bothering them at the counter. But, although the drawer they're stored in says "warm buns" they are anything BUT...not in the least. I've tried 4 different 7-elevens since they introduced this new method for getting your buns. One was ever so slightly warm, maybe tepid is more the word. The rest were cold. Lastly, no more mustard from the jar. They allow you to take packets of off-brand mustard to put on the hot dog. By the time you get all the packets open (not easy) and applied to your hot dog, the wiener is cold. So now you've got a cold wiener in a cold bun, garnished with an off-brand mustard (which doesn't taste as good as Heinz) that you struggled to get onto your cold dog. At the last place, I struggled in vain to open a single mustard packet with a sore finger. Then, after being treated rudely by the unfriendly clerk, I said forget it and left without the hot, er uh, I mean cold dog, and went to am pm. The men who work at 7-11 are always so rude. Doesn't matter which 7-11 you go to. They are especially rude to women. I think it's a cultural thing. Someone needs to teach them that women are not property here. And we're not 2nd class citizens and we're not doormats. If they insist on treating us this way, we won't frequent 7-11. At AM PM the hot dogs are not as good as 7-11 hot dogs USED to be; but they are better than 7-11 hot dogs are now. At least they were hot. They are 80 cents more at AM PM, but the sodas are $1.00 cheaper. So that's it for me. I'm done with 7-11. read more

7-Eleven is like a dedicated friend. Always dependable. I mainly go here for the Monster Energy drink. The staff here is very nice and courteous but don't expect them to help you find anything. Sometimes you can get a special on Monster energy drinks. 2/$5. They also never closes read more

Dont ever go here to buy a lot. They never give out plastic bags. I've dealt with the same asian lady in the morning 3 times and no matter how much I juggle my purchase, she will not give out a bag. She will, however, help me pile all my stuff on top of each other so I can juggle it out to the car. This is also the only 7-eleven I have experienced that offers cash back, but does not allow debit card for lotto tickets. The one in Bellflower and the one in South El Monte do. Both of those offer cash back (max $10) and I've used debit cards at those locations to purchase lotto tickets before. read more

All the employees are very friendly especially the older male that works the overnight shifts. The parking lot is pretty big and the 99 cent soda/ "squishie" refills can be refilled with any souvenir cups. This 7-11 sells a lot of hot foods which include mozzarella sticks and pizza. The beer selection isn't that big but they compensate by selling several bottles of hard liquor plus the mini bottles. read more

This store is by far the cleanest and most stocked 7-eleven you'll find. Smells and looks brand new but Karen and her staff have been here for a few yrs. Karen is friendly helpful and her staff takes after her for sure. They point you in the right direction so you get what you want and stack up on the rewards pts. Food is fresh and quickly prepared. Parking is perfect right on the corner of 2 major Blvds it's literally in and out. read more

Came there Sunday 12/10/12, and was amazed that there were no people there (so use to the loitering & panhandling at almost all quickie marts have). The clerk was real friendly as she greeted us when we came in that morning (not the same one other reviewer dealt with, this was an older hispanic lady). Was surprised she was there by herself, as my husband had spoken to her and told her she should be careful since the area is not a good one. She told him that management informed her this was one of the worst ones to work for, obviously because of the high crime rate in the area and the fact that she looked like a sweet older lady (like someone's mother or tia) And she bagged up our stuff, I know how the other reviewer feels though we almost get that at every convenience mart & liquor stores. I hope it stays the way it is for awhile, becuase its new I kinda think it will end up being like all the others...ghetto :( read more

Worse 7-11. Pretty shady people walking around. I came to buy a gift card for a friends birthday only because it was on the way. The cashier tells me it's cash only. She points at the green LOTTERY disclaimer sticker on the counter so I explained it says LOTTERY tickets not gift cards. Then a he claims it's posted somewhere near the gift card section. I educated her that everywhere else accepts cc for gift card purchases and ask for her manager. She says she doesn't come in until later. No point in arguing with a ignorant person, I walked out. Went to food for less down the street to buy my gift card with a cc and way better customer service personnel. read more
