My preference of going to a 7-11over a liquor store to purchase cigarettes is a no brainer because the promotions they offer allow me to save. BUT this 7-11 doesn't offer promotions according to the grouchy man behind the counter. When he ringed me up, I asked him what happened to the discount? His response was "this is Pico Rivera" meaning the city of Pico Rivera doesn't allow promotions on tobacco??? I know that he is lying, doesn't care about his customers, and is just money hungry. I've gone to a many 7-11's for years and it is the 1st time I hear some BS like that!! Four stars because the guy behind the counter was very nice. I went there about 3:00. Often they ring everything up before you can put in your phone no. This guy let me put in my number. He waited, just takes a few seconds. In the past, I've never had staff there that were nice. Today the guy was really nice and I came in for soda, and there was no problem. The place was clean. went in very quickly before trying to catch my next bus,looked at the bottled drinks but decided to get a big gulp instead. ran over to the soda fountain and got a snack before checking out when the guy scanned my shit and then accused me of stealing the soda i looked at earlier. said he saw me grab a soda but he was helping someone else and then saw me go to the other side. my bag was completely sealed from the time i walked in. he asked me multiple times if i was "sure" i didn't take anything. i offered for him to check my bag and he said he would check the cameras. i told him can i pay or do you want me to leave this here? he let me pay and i left but this experience was terrible. the owners are rude af,everyone here has an attitude and need to take 10 smoke breaks every hour. pathetic. disgusting. read more

I stopped by this place after work because I always get an Ice coffee on the way home. I came in went to the machine and it was just leaking bits of coffee so I let them know if they could change it out but they just said no we are out. I understand so I just grabbed a starbucks one from the fridge then went to check out and the guy was just giving me a nasty look quickly rung me up and he didn't even ask if I wanted my receipt. read more

They got these seasonal buffalo wing sauce flavored kettle chips in the back and man it made watching Loki season 2 that much better.

Being conveniently located on the way to the freeway is about the only thing this location has going for it. There was a female employee that was extremely rude and not the least bit helpful. Their slurpee machines weren't dispensing properly, but she said we had to pay for them anyway because we used the cup.... but the slurpee wasn't even frozen!!! The food they had sitting out looked like it had been there for who knows how many hours. We got our snacks, paid and left. Unless it's for something like a bottled drink or prepackaged snack, we won't be returning to this location. read more

I would refrain from ordering delivery food from this particular 7 Eleven. The kid who works in the evening handles the food orders without a face mask and without gloves. He was packing orders in bags for a delivery driver while sneezing. Very disappointing. read more

The person that works at night has horrible customer service I live behind the store and Every time I go there ay night the door is always locked and that kid working is no where to be found. Last time he had a delivery guy waiting outside for almost an hour and didn't want to give him his order because supposedly he was on his break. Lotto..oh thank heaven for 7-11..the 605 freeway was not moving yesterday and that is when i decided to turn off the highway and get a Powerball..This location is right next door to a donut shop which was nice if your in the mood for one. They were pretty well stocked with the usual goodies and drinks, had a ATM inside and lots of magazines and sandwiches and hot dogs and slurpees, soda etc. Nothing else i really wanted or needed so i headed back on the road. read more

I've only been to this store twice, but it's a lot cleaner than most 7-11's in the Pico/Whittier areas. I didn't see any pan handlers or wild kids in the front. That's always a plus. Came to get a coffee at 10:26 a.m. I wanted french vanilla and the clerk said she threw it out. That every morning at 10 they through out the coffee but they leave a selected 4 available. There's also writing on the coffee dispenser saying if they don't have it, it can be brewed for the customer. I asked her "So you dump out all of your coffee at 10? Really?" And she said "Yes everday I dump it out, but we have those over there, (nodding to 4 other coffee dispensers) that's why we have those!" She was rude. New place and new specials. It's close by and it's very convenient. It offers great amenities and it looks nice. It has abundant parking space because its the only place opened 24 hours. The service is a bit slow, but if you go at night, it's best. They also accept EBT and other type of "plastic." read more
