DO NOT ORDER CURBSIDE!!! They are very unorganized and do not check correctly when someone picks up an order. They gave my $150 order to someone else and claim they checked the persons app. There is absolutely no way they did. They did not want to take responsibility for messing up and kept claiming the person had the same account I was showing them. I live here alone so there is no way. Their cakes are always fresh and delicious, but can they please stop topping them with almonds??? I feel like they haven't been offering enough fresh fruit cakes not topped with nuts and it really sucks because sometimes we don't have time to custom order a cake ahead of time. First of all, I buy food from this establishment all the time and this is the first time that I have had a complaint about the pulled chicken breast the turkey Carnitas, and the hot chicken wings I never had a problem ever till now today after purchasing the turkey I get to my hotel. I'm up here working from out of town and the turkey is spoiled so now I can't eat lunch tomorrow, but it's OK, just to let you guys know that your turkey was bad this batch of turkey. I just want to take some time out to shout out the bakery dept at this store. When I say customer gourmet orders are made every time I order . The bakers take their time and pay close attention to detail . Ordered 3 dozen apples in a crunch and they were ready and beautiful and reasonably priced not to mention delicious and fresh always. . I recommend getting your custom made treats from here . The ladies and gentlemen have truly became a part of my family and has brought a lot of my catering events to life . This is my neighborhood grocery store. This place has had a major upgrade over the last few years. It has a good variety of Hispanic foods, produce is reasonably priced, hot bar & cold bar has some solid offerings. Lots of ready-to-take food. Most but not all staff speaks English fluently but they are good at their jobs and always try to help with what I need. Everyone has been very kind, smiling, helpful and they try with their limited English and I try with my limited Spanish and we meet in the middle. It now also has an organic section and sells boba, kombucha and organic teas. I've noticed it's pretty clean and bright inside. They have seating if you want to eat there in the store. Their cakes are great too! I wish they had a better organic dairy & egg selection though! Maybe one day. read more

Love the food and drinks. The way everything taste is amazing but the downside is customer service and the wait for certain stuff. Cashiers are always friendly but the people at hot foods section have no sense of urgency to help the customers and seem to all run off in the back when their help is needed. Same goes for meat section. They leave that one person to struggle in the front when the line is super long and again not sure if they're assigned to go do stuff in the back and not help with front of the house. If you applied and agreed to work here you would figure they wouldn't mind helping customers. I just came to buy the leche de fresa and ended up leaving empty handed because I was waiting 16 mins and I was on my lunch break. Purchased a lot of meat and chicken here that smelled so bad the next day. They sell you meat that's already going bad and other products too. Check the dates on everything and don't purchase meat from here. I used to shop here before till I bought yogurts that were 2 months expired. I didn't think to check the date before hand because you would think a store does regular cleanings with their products but they're just out for your money. They completely remodeled the store so I came back after years having higher hopes for them and I purchased $70 worth of chicken and meat that all smelled rotten the next day. I have been A two to $300 a week customer for a few years. I have group homes and I feed the clients. Today I asked the manager when you get the quarter chicken, leg and thigh andI buy a case is there anyway - if I give you a couple days notice you guys can cut it. Because for you guys it takes a second just run it right through the wire. Instead of finding a solution he just said no if it comes in a bag we can't cut it. I was very happy to see they extended their kitchen area recently. I went in today because I was craving tamales, I got 5 and I also decided to try the pupusas. The total was $17 with change.. well I feel like i basically threw $17 in the trash. The pupusa was beyond dry/hard and had next to no filling in it. I wouldn't feed that to my worst enemy. Now the tamales... Jesus Christ! So much masa and big chunks of dry meat with hardly any sauce. The masa literally was just crumbling as I bit into it. Horrible, horrible beyond words. I almost wanted to go back and try to get my money back but whatever. Live and learn. I won't be getting hot food from there again. Viva for fresh fruit and vegetables and good prices. I am not sure if the prices are this low everyday as I often purchase them at Northgate. 3 sacks of radishes for $1.00 is pretty awesome. Huge aisles with tons of people and a lot of bulk sale items. They had a large butcher area in the back. I went on a holiday so checkout was a bit longer than I desired. If I had an option to give them negative star I would. This place was normally our place to go groceries shopping. But the last time we went shopping we got some asada meat (unflavored) when I made one of our favorite dish with the meat. We bite into the meat and there some metal pieces in the meat. Also found a piece of plastic of a barcode in the meat. This is absolutely disgusting. Not only did it ruin our favorite dish. But it hurt my tooth so badly that I was in pain for days. I literally thought I broke a tooth. If I had accidentally swallowed the piece of metal or if a child had ingested it, this would have been a life or death situation. As a paying customer, it has become apparent to me that their quality control and inspection is not up to par. read more

I shop here because I usually find everything I need when grocery shopping. They have fresh fruits and veggies, I like their meat selection and the prices are reasonable. However, the parking lot is always dirty, trash cans usually overflowing, sometimes someone is outside asking for money and the occasional transient walking around. They need to get on top of that. Sometimes I avoid going there for that reason. read more
