First, thank you for meeting me at the shop and taking my wheel at such an odd time. It was pretty late. Just picked up my wheel over the weekend from this shop which was hopping up and down when spinning. The hop is still there but not as bad as it used to be. I have just purchased the bike used and now I will finally get to ride it. This guy was so accommodating to me and even helped point out that I will be needing a new set of tires due to the signs of aging sidewall. My son blew out an inner tube with a pothole a few weeks back and replaced it himself then ended up replacing the tire as well, but it had a terrible wobble. We called up Al's Re-Cycles and asked about it and he said that it sounded like a simple problem and to bring it by. I went to the shop after asking about a bike on OfferUp. Which by the way, Al was quick at responding. He gave me a time to go in so I can look at the bike. When I arrived I was greeted and helped right away, the bike was very nice and new but it turned out to be too small for me. He was honest about what inventory he had which was very limited due to high demand. He ended up pulling out a used mountain bike. He was honest with me about what it had and what it might need. He adjusted the seat for me so I could take it for a test ride. I did not feel pressured into buying it, like in other stores. I ended up liking the bike and buying it off him. Don't let the outside fool you. Hidden gem in the wall. Honestly best service I have had with a bike store. If I could give more stars I would. I called to ask about getting a inner tube replaced. Guy on the phone told me if I dropped it off today I would get it tomorrow morning. Which I was fine with. Showed up with my wheel in hand since I had taken it part before showing up. Guy says "oh your the one that called, no worries I'll get it done for you now." Start working on my replacement inner tube. I started timing him because I wanted to see how efficient he could be.
