Meanwhile you have fancy USB outlets, new TV, etc. No clock. A double bed is all you get in a single room. Internet keeps resetting. Not much restaurants or shops around, so bring snacks and liquids as you embark on your hiking trip. Be careful on the stone steps because level at different sights. Wish that there was staff on standby during business hours to address any questions or concerns that you may have because I was genuinely worried about parking as it was tooooo empty for my liking...

If you normally stay at The Four Season's this may not be the place for you. But get over yourself. For our location needs - right center to Enumclaw and Bonney Lake. Very pup walkable, very dining grab a beer walkable. Walk up coffee stand across the street. The 410 connection walking trail is right there. Cute neighborhood to walk just a couple blocks down Main. Wonderful Christmas lights to see as you walk. Buckley is uber safe. I applaud the owners for digging in and doing a solid update on this place. It's neat and tidy. With a tip of the hat to its heritage. Our room had two doubles. A bit odd - but comfy. Towels are the size of hankies so next time I'll throw a couple of our own towels in. Maybe what, a dozen rooms total? Check in was a breeze. As we walked up to the office a friendly gentleman popped out of the room next door, went into the office and put on his manager's hat. He was very good natured and amiable. The view of Mt Rainier from the parking lot was pretty neat. Our room also has a good view of Rainier. Speaking of which, this room is a nice surprise. It is very retro with a microwave, a Keurig coffeemaker and a mini fridge that are styled after the 1950's in a baby blue. This room is immaculately clean! The Mrs wanted me to make sure that I point out the cleanliness of the bathroom and counter / sink area. The room is a bit smallish but is very well appointed. Lights and outlets aplenty. Freshly painted and remodeled comes to mind. The beds have that perfect firm softness that gives you comfort without trapping you in a marshmallow. There is also an ironing board with iron for that clothing touch up along with a dresser for unpacking. There is also a prominent coffee kiosk within a few steps of the motel. From a maintenance and construction aspect, this room is well taken care of, everything works.

It's such a cool and unique experience -- cozy, serene, and unlike any traditional hotel stay. One of my favorite memories is making s'mores by the fire and enjoying them beside the running river. We loved it so much that we booked another visit -- but unfortunately, we ran into an unexpected childcare situation that meant we had to cancel. It was incredibly disappointing and honestly very inconvenient. We had been so excited to return, and having to change plans at the last minute was stressful. That's where Abbey Rodriguez truly shined. She was so gracious, kind, and understanding throughout the entire situation. Instead of making us feel like we were causing a problem, she stepped in immediately, handled everything with compassion and professionalism, and made what could have been a frustrating experience feel manageable and supported. Her warmth and willingness to help turned a difficult moment into one that actually deepened our appreciation for TreeHouse Point. Exceptional places are special -- but exceptional people make them unforgettable. Abbey's graciousness and care showed us that TreeHouse Point isn't just magical because of the treehouses and the forest (though those are amazing!) -- it's magical because of the heart behind it. We are so happy with TreeHouse Point and so grateful for the way we were treated. We absolutely plan to visit again soon -- and next time, we can't wait to be back in the trees where the magic began.

When we arrived at Treehouse Point, everybody was so professional and kind! We were given a quick tour of all of the amenities in the lodge and other community areas. Then, we were directed to our tree house, Ananda. Just wow! It was cozy as well as spacious, and it was very well appointed with everything we could possibly need! Even though there were other tree houses around ours, we ALL enjoyed total privacy. A great deal of attention has been made in creating personal experiences while still tending to developing a very unique community. All building materials in our treehouse were the best quality available, and the workmanship is second to none! We walked around the grounds, being respectful of others' privacy. Every tree house was unique and beautiful! We then took the trail down to the Raging River. It was beautiful, but our spring has been unusually dry, and the river a little thirsty. Overnight, a rainstorm came through the area. The sound coming from a refreshed river the next morning was breathtaking! I wanted to wake up so I could experience it all, but instead I slept through it. I guess I slept comfortably! (And I am not young.) The bath houses were beautiful and felt like individual spa rooms. They were supplied with wonderful bath products, and the shower offered a pampering experience. Similarly, special products and amenities were provided in our private unit, including coffee and tea. We were going to wash our few dishes, but no dish soap was found, further demonstrating Treehouse Point's intent to pamper their guests. After waking up in the trees, we prepared our own mugs of coffee, tea, and nibbles. After a peaceful start to the day, we made our way to the lodge for breakfast (feeding the fish along the way). Our own breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The chef and souz chef prepared several wonderful dishes. The selections and quality of preparation were both outstanding! Our visit was so wonderful that we truly didn't want to leave! We made the visit to fulfill a bucket list item, but we are already talking about returning again, this time with friends. Rainier National Park entrance. As soon as we parked to check-in, Bob and Joe (Owners/Managers) made us feel welcome. The cabin we had was great. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The views were wonderful. It was so peaceful and quiet. A great place to relax and re-energize. While there, Bob and Joe shared their knowledge of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding area. Telling us the best places to eat, all about the mountain, where to go for pictures, trails to walk, best places to see wildlife, and so much more. They had a campfire one night and provided everything we needed to make Smores. Many of the guests came out to the campfire, enjoying the smores, the conversation, and the stars. It turned out that one couple had stayed there several times before. At the time we were there, the park required vehicles to carry snow chains. They rent chains at the lodge for half the price of the places you can rent them in town. Unfortunately, they didn't have our tire size but immediately offered to go purchase a set for us to rent. By far, Stone Creek lodge was the best place we stayed during our trip. If headed to the National Park or the Ashford area, we highly recommend Stone Creek Lodge.

The Quicksilver Lodge was cute - definitely feels like a college dorm, but nice spacious hotel rooms with modern amenities. The loft rooms with two extra beds up top were cute - our toddler had a field day going up and down the stairs. Walking distance to the gondola to go up to the top of Crystal Mountain. We didn't have to make reservations at the Alpine Inn restaurant but easily got seated - they had a good menu including vegetarian options and kid-friendly options.

Not exactly a posh hotel with amenities out the yin-yang (the boutique hotel I stayed in Chicago…read morewas nicer than this), but I can guarantee that you won't find a hotel that has a giant hot tub right in the middle of the room. I was very fatigued when I checked into the place due to my flying from Chicago (via Las Vegas), then driving an hour and a half south after spending a couple of hours doing tourist stuff in downtown Seattle, so I didn't quite hear or understand the instructions about the hot tub that the manager was telling me. Frankly, I was a bit taken aback by the fact that there was a hot tub in the middle of the room. I thought for a moment that was where I was gonna have to bathe because I hadn't showered in about a day and a half, but there was a shower there. I regretfully did not use the hot tub. I only stayed at this place due to the proximity to my friend's house, which was just ten minutes away. I have to admit that I wasn't crazy about the small parking lot and the unmarked access and connecting roads to the 410. But the place at least allowed me to check out at 3am so... not bad.
