Just went for the first time today! Parking is across the street from the "resort". $5 entry fee for each person. Trail is fairly maintained, hill down is stair steps. I didn't track the distance, but I'd say it's less than a mile to the best swimming spot. The waterfall is the first spot, pretty cool to walk behind. As you continue down, the trail becomes very wet; I do not recommend wearing shoes you love. We went to a spot where there was a natural slide-like current, super fun, but be very careful!! The current is extremely strong!! There was also a rope swing into the water and multiple cliff jumping spots! Be careful of the current and rocks! And make sure to keep it clean. :)

Best swimming spot for the summer. Moderate hike down and up . Sometimes you pay to get in.

Beautiful views!! $5 fee to enter the river trail. Once you come across the narrow bridge you'll see a green house that's where you can explore the waterfall. Across the street is where you can access spring water. They ask for a donation of $5 if you choose to fill up your water containers. The place you can tell used to offer hot springs pools. The hike allows you to walk under the waterfall.

Always a magical place to visit! Rocks are slippery but fun! Love going back behind the waterfall

Place sucks, lady's who run are extremely rude. Stairs are extremely dangerous and shift as you walk on them. Don't bring children

If you normally stay at The Four Season's this may not be the place for you. But get over yourself. For our location needs - right center to Enumclaw and Bonney Lake. Very pup walkable, very dining grab a beer walkable. Walk up coffee stand across the street. The 410 connection walking trail is right there. Cute neighborhood to walk just a couple blocks down Main. Wonderful Christmas lights to see as you walk. Buckley is uber safe. I applaud the owners for digging in and doing a solid update on this place. It's neat and tidy. With a tip of the hat to its heritage. Our room had two doubles. A bit odd - but comfy. Towels are the size of hankies so next time I'll throw a couple of our own towels in. The place looked full - families probably in the same predicament as us. See the pics others have posted. We will most likely be back.

Maybe what, a dozen rooms total? Check in was a breeze. As we walked up to the office a friendly gentleman popped out of the room next door, went into the office and put on his manager's hat. He was very good natured and amiable. The view of Mt Rainier from the parking lot was pretty neat. Our room also has a good view of Rainier. Speaking of which, this room is a nice surprise. It is very retro with a microwave, a Keurig coffeemaker and a mini fridge that are styled after the 1950's in a baby blue. This room is immaculately clean! The Mrs wanted me to make sure that I point out the cleanliness of the bathroom and counter / sink area. The room is a bit smallish but is very well appointed. Lights and outlets aplenty. Freshly painted and remodeled comes to mind. The beds have that perfect firm softness that gives you comfort without trapping you in a marshmallow. There is also an ironing board with iron for that clothing touch up along with a dresser for unpacking. There is also a prominent coffee kiosk within a few steps of the motel. From a maintenance and construction aspect, this room is well taken care of, everything works.

The front staff is always nice and friendly and we've also come in to use their DIY wash room where we wash our dog ourselves for a reasonable price. There was one time where the groomer complained about our dog that she nipped her arm- I was shocked because usually we always get compliments like "she's so sweet, she knew exactly what to do and jumped on the table, etc". Honestly it was probably our fault because we did forget to mention to not touch her tail. Our dog is very sensitive about her tail since her puppy stage for some reason. Other than that one time, it's been perfectly fine and I will continue to bring our pup here unless something major happens again. She gets her nails trimmed, yummy treats (also reasonably priced) and all. They do have a doggy day care option too which we haven't used yet but heard good things.

Management and Staff,…read more Before you get any ideas that this is just some Karen writing a review, I will add that I have ample proof of medical documentation as well as my cat's cremated remains to prove you and your facility are a dangerous place to house and board pets. You took my longest friendship away from me by neglecting to administer medicine and properly care for an animal that needed the basics of which is obvious you did not provide. Their medication bottle was not opened. It was full when I picked them up. Onyx died due to you and your staff's inability to follow basic instructions. His feet had feces caked on them and somehow You failed to notice the eye infection he developed because you and your staff didn't give him his medicine all 4 days. His kidneys shut down due to this neglect and on top of that he was so dehydrated his eyes were sunken. I've never seen an animal decline so quickly and it is not because you "took great care" to get him what he needed. HE DIED. I don't think you understand how much this hurt to see him in such pain like that. Your company is horrible and you deserve to be shut down. I can't believe how you can sleep at night knowing you lied and sent my Onyx to his deathbed in such a painful manner. He barely had the energy to cry in pain as he tried to use the bathroom. You have no idea how badly this broke me to see him like that. All because of the incompetence of you and your staff. A refund doesn't bring him back and take the pain he suffered in the end away. My other cat that luckily survived your facility has elevated hyperthyroid levels now due to your not administering her medication. Her recent blood panel reflects this. The information from the vet shows her T4 (thyroid hormone) is higher and her liver enzyme (ALT) has become slightly elevated again. She is so depressed she won't leave areas in my home that Onyx frequently hung out in. Though I appreciate the refund and compensation for the vet visit for Onyx, it will never amount to the life you took from me and so boldly lied to me about caring for. I never imagined I would ever have to write something to this magnitude but you straight out murdered my pet by not caring for him over a 4 day stay. IF ANYONE HAS ANY SENSE AT ALL THEY WILL KEEP THEIR PETS AWAY FROM HERE.

I put my dog into boarding August 17-21, 2023 with Shaggy Shack; Thursday afternoon to Monday morning. My dog has a muscle dystrophy disorder that effects anywhere in her body that has collagen. At less than 2 years old, she has severe arthritis in her elbows. I let Shaggy Shack know of her disorder prior to leaving her with them. I even wrote a note and taped it to her food container. I spoke with 2 workers, 1 manager, and then finally the owner. None of the stories matched with the others. When I spoke with Tonya, the owner, I explained how I received my dog and that her inflammation could only be that severe if she was not given her medication. Tonya said "the girls could have missed some medications, we're not perfect." I asked for a refund, to which she said "we won't be administering a refund because that would be admitting we did something wrong." My dog was returned to me with dried blood and sticky from pee, how is that right? I have no answers I'm satisfied with, only multiple stories of what may or may not have happened to my disabled dog. At this point, I paid to have her be grossly neglected. Tonya provided a med sheet 4 days later to try to claim they gave my dog her medication, even though my hydrotherapist (who I had look over my dog for other injuries) agreed her condition could've only been that bad if she had not received her medication. Tonya shifted the blame to me, saying "You chose to bring her to a highly stimulated setting instead of staying home with your handicapped pup." I trusted Shaggy Shack to care for my dog as if she were your own, as the website claims the business would do. I will not make that error again and suggest others not to as well. Do better.

I would highly recommend though. I like our home spot, but his one has something very special about it. Bernard loves playing with dogs, but when its raining at our normal spot he ends up sitting inside with some outside time and not a lot of dog socialization... or at least that is my guess. When he comes home on rainy days he is not all that tired. In fact he seems like he just hung around all day instead of playing. The first time we took him to Shaggy Shack it was raining and I thought he was going to come home not tired at all. Oh man was I wrong. He was knocked out and it was in a way that leads me to believe not only does he get to play with dogs, but he has moments of thinky time or play time with humans. I cant say for sure, but I love how he comes back those days. Clearly wore out from a day of fun. I really like this place but unfortunately its a bit of a drive to do daycare daily especially when we have an on base option right next to my wife's work. I will say though they are definitely going to be our go to for boarding. The one major downside to our normal spot is there are no options for drop off pick up on Sundays. A lot of our trip or time where we need to board is Just saturday evening. This gives us the opportunity to board and pick up when we return and not have to board an extra night. In addition we had a last minute boarding need when I was too lazy to get boarding scheduled at our normal spot and it worked out perfectly. I highly recommend this place. Its not on base so anyone can use. The place is huge. Staff knowledgable and friendly and overall I have nothing but positives about here. I wish their location was closer, but thats not a negative, just a desire to make my life easier.
