There is another company with the same name, NOT located in Pioneer, often times causing confusion & resulting in reviews being left on the wrong site, for the mistaken business. Let It Be Known: the folks at this company are Professionals! They return calls; show up as scheduled (on time) & do fantastic work! Additionally, they are all so very easy to work with & just genuinely nice people! Whether Jason, owner; Lynn, receptionist; or Logan & Jimmy, installers/crew...I assure you, they are all are great! Just for the record, I do not know any of them personally or outside of the business & I'm not being compensated to write this review. It's my personal experience & honest opinion. Now, about the product... We had a Fujitsu split unit installed in our home 2yrs ago. Jason recommended the location for install to best heat our home & he was right on the money! Recently, we called to have the unit serviced, which they did. At that time, we decided upon having an additional, deep clean, which they came back today & completed. The unit looks & works like it's brand new! I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the people of this company & the quality of both their work & products. Alpine Air installed a minisplit system in our new home, including an outside condenser and two head units. They did such a poor job that we ended up having to have it redone by a different company a year later. The condensate line PVC installed in the walls was muddy. It looked like it had been lying around in their yard. My husband replaced it with new PVC. Jason drilled random holes in our studs, then realized they were in the wrong place and redrilled. So now our studs that are supposed to support the house look like swiss cheese. He used the wrong size connection to the condenser line. He used electrical fittings to connect the split unit to the condensate line, not fittings that are meant for water. This is a huge leak risk inside a wall. He used a 3/4" roofing nail to attach the condenser to the concrete pad. We're in a very windy area and the whole thing could have easily blown over. There were greasy fingerprints all over the wall and several fins were crushed during the install. We had it cleaned by another local company and they tried their best to straighten out the fins but there was only so much they could do. The unit was also mounted too close to the side wall than installation instructions say, so that it was difficult to work on when we had a third company out to fix all the problems from Alpine's install. Everyone says go to Alpine. Maybe they had a different experience or maybe they're just not as picky about the details of the install. But Alpine is the one contractor in the area that I would never call again if my life depended on it. read more

We loved that this guy showed up on time, answered many questions and seemed great. We were going to go with this company just based on their interactions with us during our Appt! BUT...... 4 days later we called to ask about our quote. The lady who answered said "Oh, he never gets the quote to you for about two weeks!" HAH ?!?! TWO weeks ?! We asked if there was any way he could prepare it quicker, she said I will ask him. Two weeks go by and no quote. We call again on July 2 ( Thursday). The lady answers and says no quote ready yet. We say we need it by Friday and her response " Tomorrow is July 3- Friday, we are closed !" Suffice it to say it is now August and we have NEVER even gotten out quote. FORGET THESE Thanks for your response. In all fairness to us we should have been told that your quote was going to take over two weeks to receive. If someone knows that upfront then in most cases it's fine- you have managed your customers' expectations. We have moved on. read more

As a retired Construction Project Manager, I've dealt with hundreds of contracts and contractors - these guys are A1 - very straightforward. Alpine installed our new combo HVAC unit a year ago. We'd just come back from an extended camping trip to find our heater was dead dead dead - and there was 4" of snow on the ground - what a homecoming! Alpine's quote was not the cheapest, but, it was reasonable and based on my interactions with Jason during his bid and follow up questions - it was obvious he knew what all of the work that was needed. A couple of the other contractors did not have any concern with the electrical wiring, but, Alpine explained why the wire was undersized for my old HVAC and why it needed to be upgraded for safety. His team showed up when scheduled and did quality work. We had some issues with my new NEST thermostat which were totally resolved after my house control wiring issues were diagnosed and fixed. 1. Bid was thorough and explanation on why he recommended a certain unit was very clear. 2. He cares about his employees and even though it might've possible to manhandle the heavy unit up to the house, we used a crane which was much safer and didn't require removing a section of our new fence. I don't mind paying to do a job the right / safe way. 3. Work was done as scheduled and all work was done with long term reliability in mind. Jason had explained that the new unit would work differently to maintain the temperature. We had no idea how much more comfortable our house would be with the new unit - we truly are enjoying how it works. This company came out and did a quote to install a AC unit. It took us a about a week to decide where we wanted the unit since we didn't want to cut a hole in our wood deck. We called back and gave them the go for install. The lady said he wanted to speak with us once more before ordering anything. Well I called on Monday and was told I would get a call from him Tuesday morning the next day...still nothing. Called again Tuesday afternoon and told he would for sure call me Wednesday morning...guess what no call again after 3 days! I called them once again Wednesday late morning and was told he wasn't available and she had NO answer for me after she had already promised several times a return call before he went out on calls. I aksed if he wanted the job since he came out and gave us the estimate, the lady's response "I'm not really sure" I highly recommend you stay away from this company! Why come out and give a quote if you are never going to follow through with your customer to complete a job? If you are to busy which you seem you are then please don't waist peoples time and just be up front with them instead of promising to get back with us day after day after day! My A/C unit was serviced by this company on 5/26/17 and the tech didn't show up until 40 minutes past their scheduled time frame. I let it slide since the tech was very apologetic. About a month later, my unit was not working properly so I called them about the situation, because they had just serviced it. A tech came out on 7/3/17 and advised me of my options, so I decided to have Alpine do a full inspection of my A/C unit to determine if there was a leak. This is where it all went south real quick.... I scheduled the work for 7/14/17, but then the office called me back to cancel. It was rescheduled for 7/31/17, but they called my house and left a message on the Thursday prior saying, "We haven't heard from you and are wondering if we still need to come out to do a level 2 inspection." Umm, I already scheduled for this day and if anything, maybe a call to confirm a time, since I hadn't received that yet. I am only at the house on specific days and the company knew this, however, they called a landline and not a cell phone, so I didn't get the message until Saturday. And they are not open on weekends! I called the company first thing in the morning on 7/31/17, which was my scheduled appointment, and I was told my appointment was canceled. ACKKKK I had taken the day off to be at the house for this appointment and now I am out of a days work as well as a functioning A/C in 90 degree weather! Nothing was done to resolve the issue. In my opinion, they showed poor customer service and bad business practices. You lost my business Alpine and worst off, I will not recommend your business to my neighbors. read more

I saw the prior review for the installation of a split-system wine cooler which was the initial reason for contacting Alpine. When I got a referral from a friend, it got me over the hump. The company and Jason are very professional with great follow-up. The estimate process was prompt and clear. Scheduling - even in mid-summer was reasonable - given the high heat we've had for the past month...it was only a couple weeks out. The work was quick, clean, detailed, and focused. With the challenges I've faced in the area finding professional services providers, Alpine Air definitely rises to the level of a company I'll contact without hesitation if ever needed again.
