Rating: 4.7 Tried their zip line course during the off season since there were limited things open around the area. We booked online a head of time and made a reservation for a time. We got there 10minutes early and were informed some guidelines to follow. Got myself a hat since I forgot to bring one was pretty cold. Since it was during offseason we were only ones there. We were escorted to the gear house and equipped with helmet, safety harness and a latch. The staff gave us a ride to the zip line course and took a truck up the hill. They did tell us to make sure to keep helmet on and seatbelt because it was going to be rough ride up due to it being mud season. It sure was a rough ride up and probably was in the air quite a few times during the ride. I looked at one of the staff and used my foot to secure myself like he was doing to keep myself stable which helped. It was definitely the toughest part of the experience. Once we got to the zip line area we were given a brief instructions for safety and we buckled up and started our zip line session. In the beginning it was a bit intimidating but the staffs were all very nice and made us feel safe during the experience. Once we got going it was very enjoyable and thrilling. It was cold but we were mostly prepared and dressed warm and the hat I purchased helped. The views were also beautiful. At the end we got to go in a treehouse and take some picture at the end. After we finished we were escorted back to the truck and took the van to the main facility which was a mild ride compared to on the way. We dropped off our equipments and left the facility. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and had a great time. Everyone was nice and accommodating made us feel safe. It was also nice that we were only ones there because we got a private session and full attention during the experience. Definitely would recommend for those that enjoy or beginner who would like to try zip lining. My partner who can be la little anxious about these experience enjoyed it and was perfectly fine throughout the experience. The experience was a bit on pricier side but I think it was worth it. read more

Wonderful and safe experience! We did the zip line tour which entails a couple rides, explanation of the height and speed, safety talks, and a WILD car ride up. The car ride is very bumpy, and it for the faint of heart. If you have back problems, this is not the car ride for you~ apparently during the summer, guests have to hike up rather than use the trucks which seems like a moderate level walk in my opinion. We were the only guest since it was spring off season~ plenty of mud but it was great! We prepped with our hiking boots, layers, and hats are a must. Gloves helped our hands stay warm. Had an excellent time. Extreme sky zip line. The staff was friendly and I felt safe throughout the 5 zipline course. Safety was #1. Beautiful views. Walking up the 30 foot latter was a bit scary,haha. We left our (brand new iPhone) phones and wallet in the car, too risky carrying your valuables. Some brought their phones and didn't lose anything so it's not impossible. Proceed with caution. Bathrooms were clean and there are none on the mountain,so don't forget to visit before the trip. read more

The Zipline adventure was very good. After getting your gear and piling into a van to go to the mountain, you'll transfer to a 70s Swiss Army truck with six wheels to get up steep terrain. From there you'll start Ziplining after a safety briefing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the Ziplining was fun despite the fact I was pretty nervous at first. It seems pretty safe, doesn't seem like there have been any big accidents or anything which is good. Top tip, wear clothing with zippers to make sure nothing falls out, or leave valuables in your vehicle. read more

They are professional, always have eyes on safety but made the trip FUN. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The Sky Rider zipping is very high with nerve wracking platforms. We did the "Thrillsville" ropes course in June 2021 with a group of kids aged 7-11. It's just about at the limit of what a 7 year old can do without adult assistance but it's perfect for the 8+ group. For sure, you will breeze through the course in 30 minutes unless you have a slow group in front of you. There's no passing on the course so you're pretty much trapped if you're behind a slow group. It's not terribly scenic and the price is high given the short duration. In June 2022 we did the "tree top zip line tour" with the same group (aged 8-12 this year). It's perfect for their age group. You take a club van out to the middle of the woods and then an army vehicle up a steep and bumpy section of trail. There are only 5 zip lines and while they are great fun, again, it felt like "2 hours" is a gross overestimate. We left Lincoln at 9 and were back in Lincoln at 10:00. Not even a whole hour. The guides are very knowledgeable, friendly and competent. We had a great time both days and would recommend doing it if you're in town. The only complaint is the price to time ratio seems high -- for a family of 4, the zip line is basically $400 for an hour of adventure. read more

Booked the tree top ziplining tour for me and my two kids. Was concerned that I was going to be borderline on the weight limit, and while I was close, they were ok with it. You get a quick briefing and a fitting at their location, but then you get transported to the ziplining site about 10 minutes away. The staff was absolutely awesome. Our driver was fantastic. Once at the mountain, she piled us all into an old swiss troop carrier and ferried us up the mountain on some wild dirt trails. At the starting point of our tour, we met the rest of the staff. These folks were really knowledgeable and friendly. They made my kids feel super comfortable. On this tour you ride 5 separate zip lines. One of them is really short, the the rest are nice long runs, where you get really nice views of the valley below. Next time, we'll do the Super Sky Rider, as the Tree Top is really more of an entry level, first timer experience. Would definitely come here again. read more

My partner and I booked an off roading adventure here for 10/26 in search of a scenic view of the mountains (I know, so hard to find). Anyway. Our driver was Blyde (sp?) a 22 year old super friendly and knowledgeable dude. He made the group loosen up, laugh and get to know one another. We had the most majestic views of the mountain. I would recommend this to any friend I know visiting NH. My mother recommended we go here as she does their zip line trails with her friends when she travels. Also, worth mentioning was one last thing we witnessed while waiting to load onto the truck. There was a younger girl doing the courses above us and I saw 3 different workers encourage her and treat her with respect while teaching her 'the ropes' Awesome experience. read more

Zip lining is not something that was on my list. But after some arm twisting I gave it a go. Not only did I decide to go for it.....but I picked the most extreme one that was available. Alpine Adventures did a great job orienting everyone and I felt super safe. The ride up to the course is an adventure in itself. Then the course.....lets just say that it's a good thing that I had done some climbing in my past. This course is super safe but not for the faint of heart. The views are amazing and the zips are long and scenic. The guides kept everyone safe and kept everyone upbeat. Hint: wear form fitting clothing and have a decent pair of gloves if it's chilly out. We have spent the week up in Lincoln, NH and have done everything that Alpine Adventures has to offer during the winter. My twin 12 year old sons liked the zip lining course the best but also enjoyed the off-road tour which takes you up to a picturesque view from the top of Barron Mountain, the Thrillsville ropes course which offers three levels of obstacles and the snow shoeing tour which is customized to the specific ability level of your group. Everyone that works at Alpine Adventures is super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you don't ski and are looking for an adventurous way to enjoy the White Mountains in the winter, I highly recommend Alpine Adventures! read more

I wish I could give alpine event has more stars but unfortunately that's the real number. I was disappointed that I could not zip line they have a 240 pound weight limit I weigh 250. I'm a little upset since I had to take a second dairy adventure on a 4 x 4 off-road vehicle which was just a bumpy ride up the mountain that I should've just done in my own jeep. The worst part about it is the off-road vehicle stopped and we watched the people walk out to the zip line and start their adventure when I couldn't do it because of a 10 pound weight difference. The kicker here is the employee driving the off-road vehicle told me that the cable holds 14,000 pounds and that with the right equipment the cable could hold the 4 x 4 vehicle but I went up the mountain in. They also went a little further and told me that the straps that they buckle you win with hold 5000 pounds. Call me crazy but I don't see where 250 pounds would hurt this type of adventure and I have been on 20 or 30 other zip lines across the country in South America and the Caribbean and they had a lot heavier people than me on them. The staff was professional and the location of the home office was nice. Equipment looked up the date when the vehicles were awesome. Unfortunately their guidelines are a little whack. BEWARE THEY WILL NOT LET YOU ZIPLINE IF YOU WEIGH MORE THAN 240lbs. THIS IS BS. :( read more

SUPER fun for our family. We chose the Tree Top tour for our 8 and 9 year old first-timers, which was adventurous enough to get the adrenaline going, but not TOO scary (though that last dip is a doozy!). The crew were a skilled, outdoorsy bunch - knowledgeable (thankfully!), attentive, and assertive (don't go until they tell you to go! try not to kick them!). We all felt safe and like we were in good hands. On top of the fun, it was a great way to get my daughter (9) out of her comfort zone - she was psyched to go... until we actually got there, and then she panicked. We were able to get her to take that first leap, and with the first zip under her belt, she grew leaps and bounds. What an accomplishment for her! I signed up for the "regular" skyrider zip line adventure. This zipline course is plenty exhilarating. The instructors are really great, and you will have a blast even if it is your first time. On the weekend is was raining, and I almost thought about canceling. I'm glad I didn't. This place is really close to the resort. You start out with waivers, etc. but I recommend doing all of that online so you can jump right in. They have rain coats in case you didn't bring one. The gear is pretty heavy, but it definitely feels safe. After strapping up, they drive you to the base of the mountain. Once you get there, you transfer to this really old military truck to go up the mountain. It's one helluva ride. Make sure you wear you wear your helmet. It's bumpy and extremely fun. I'm slightly afraid of heights, but I somehow end up liking roller coasters. Once you do the first 2 lines, it is a breeze. The views are breathtaking. I would recommend going in the fall since you get to see all of the pretty colors in the trees. Definitely recommend going here even if you are afraid of heights. read more

Thrillsville is a pretty quick run unless you are caught behind small children. Then it's agonizingly slow. The "challenges" are not anything that you could have done without the harness or overhead cable. Mostly a variety of arrangements of wobbly cables and wood planks. If you're in the area, it's something to do. Maybe the zip lines are a better choice. read more

As someone who is not the best with heights, it was already a struggle to motivate myself to zip-line, but the amazing team at Alpine Adventures made it fun and exhilarating to the point where I found myself yelling for more. Coming here on a rainy and cold day as part of Yelp Boston's Weekend Getaway in New Hampshire, conditions weren't exactly ideal for ziplining, but I am sure glad we stayed the course. Starting off with an exhilarating off-road drive to the first zip point, our blood was pumping by the time the all-terrain vehicle came to a screeching halt. And when I say exhilarating, I mean knuckle-gripping, all four tires off the ground jaunt through muddy paths. Once at the first zip-line spot, the instructors were super encouraging and made you feel safe with their informative pre-launch debriefs and contagious energy. By the second jump, I was eager to take that leap of faith. It doesn't matter if its your first time or 100th, the staff here make it a blast every time! read more

We went for the sky rider ziplining tour because I feel like we are somewhat thrill seekers? All the tour guides were amazing! They were chill, laid back, and hilarious!! With their humor I was able to overcome my fear for heights! If you are going to rent go-pros with your partner, i would recommend getting a hand held one and a helmet one because we were able to catch amazing video footage! This time I rate it 3 because I just drove 3 hours to get here, and got denied Ziplining because fully dressed I was 7 lbs over their limit. Yes their website does state the max weight but it was not clear they meant full gear. I assumed shower weight. I assumed wrong. The other reason I only have them 3 was because there is basically a no refund policy if you can't do it for dinner reason. So I just drove my son and I here 3 hours and prepaid $158 for us to Zipline and can't go. Word to the wise, if you're coming here, make sure you don't exceed the weight limit even by a little or your screwed. I'll probably never be back. Very very disappointed! This is my second time. We did the Thrillsville Course, it wasn't very thrilling. Maybe it's good for young kids, like 5-7yo. We had a few teenage kids and it just wasn't fun. Two points... - It's over the parking lot, not very scenic. You have cars and their fumes pulling in and out under you as you do the course. - The big number they advertise says "Up to 1 1/2hours". Our kids blasted through it in like 25minutes. When I went to asked they pointed out it's "up to 1 1/2 hours" and then they show the small print where it says "many complete the course in 45minutes or less". Kinda feels like false advertising as it suggests the course is longer or harder than it is. In my opinion... overpriced and not good for kids over 12. read more

We did the zip line (sky rider) trip. There were only 4 of us signed up, and it was great to have an expedient trip experience. Our reservation was for 9am, and besides some waiting in the beginning, the trip was awesome! We had 4 guides who were all friendly, experienced, and great at making us feel comfortable on the expedition, especially explaining each zipline. The 'suspension bridge' call out on the description of the trip was a bit overrated but the ziplines were awesome! Definitely recommend if you have never ziplined before, as they were fun but not scary. read more

This was really fun and well worth the cost. We did the super sky rider and it was amazing. Will say my boyfriends is 6'5" tall without shoes and definitely over that with sneakers on. No one measured him or stopped us. So while they might be strict about weight it seems like there's some small wiggle room around height. Views are stunning. read more

You'll get to see some scenic vistas and possibly a giraffe rehab center if the season is right. Slated for 3.5 hours, we were able to get through it in about 2.5-3 hours since our group was only seven people vs the max of thirteen.
