Saw 7 moose including a baby and one bull. We loved the jokes and humor of the guides. The people on the bus.... Not so much. Please be quiet!!! Overall VERY successful tour, highly recommended!

Larry and "Papa Tony" opened up their 2021 tour season with 4 moose sightings for us. It's easy to see they're very passionate about their work. They give people realistic expectations (it's nature.. you can't force it), but with their years of expertise, knowledge of the area, and keen eyes, they try their best to deliver. If you're trying to see a moose while in the area, it's worth a shot with these guys!

Went from wallow to wallow. Floodlights on. Night vision eyes open. We were quiet as we could be. Moved slowly. Didn't harass. For they run over 35 miles per hour, and They can be quite moody. 1800 tours between our two tour guides. They were cracking jokes all the way. Moose crossings everywhere. But no moose tonight. First time all year, but they tried real hard. Nature didn't help. We started at 9:00 pm and completed the tour at 12:30 am. They really put in an effort.

I went on this tour with 11 co-workers and we had a blast! We were able to see a Moose with her baby and we saw a black bear. Tony and the guys were great! Thanks for showing the Mickey Guru Travel Co gang such a fun and informative time!

We saw moose. It was a well-organized tour. The guides did a nice job of telling us what to expect. We learned a lot. Great experience.

Rating: 4.7 Tried…read moretheir zip line course during the off season since there were limited things open around the area. We booked online a head of time and made a reservation for a time. We got there 10minutes early and were informed some guidelines to follow. Got myself a hat since I forgot to bring one was pretty cold. Since it was during offseason we were only ones there. We were escorted to the gear house and equipped with helmet, safety harness and a latch. The staff gave us a ride to the zip line course and took a truck up the hill. They did tell us to make sure to keep helmet on and seatbelt because it was going to be rough ride up due to it being mud season. It sure was a rough ride up and probably was in the air quite a few times during the ride. I looked at one of the staff and used my foot to secure myself like he was doing to keep myself stable which helped. It was definitely the toughest part of the experience. Once we got to the zip line area we were given a brief instructions for safety and we buckled up and started our zip line session. In the beginning it was a bit intimidating but the staffs were all very nice and made us feel safe during the experience. Once we got going it was very enjoyable and thrilling. It was cold but we were mostly prepared and dressed warm and the hat I purchased helped. The views were also beautiful. At the end we got to go in a treehouse and take some picture at the end. After we finished we were escorted back to the truck and took the van to the main facility which was a mild ride compared to on the way. We dropped off our equipments and left the facility. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and had a great time. Everyone was nice and accommodating made us feel safe. It was also nice that we were only ones there because we got a private session and full attention during the experience. Definitely would recommend for those that enjoy or beginner who would like to try zip lining. My partner who can be la little anxious about these experience enjoyed it and was perfectly fine throughout the experience. The experience was a bit on pricier side but I think it was worth it.

Wonderful and safe experience! We did the zip line tour which entails a couple rides, explanation…read moreof the height and speed, safety talks, and a WILD car ride up. The car ride is very bumpy, and it for the faint of heart. If you have back problems, this is not the car ride for you~ apparently during the summer, guests have to hike up rather than use the trucks which seems like a moderate level walk in my opinion. We were the only guest since it was spring off season~ plenty of mud but it was great! We prepped with our hiking boots, layers, and hats are a must. Gloves helped our hands stay warm. The staff seem close and look like they enjoy what they do~ really great experience filled with views and good happy adrenaline screams!

She stopped to asked the locals where to find moose and spoke endlessly about the types of trees in NH. No moose were spotted at all even after a desperate mosquito infested walk through the woods (yes, we had bug spray but it didn't make a difference). We were told "plan B" was to drive up and down the same highway at midnight to see if the moose were out. This was a surprise for my husbands birthday, It was a surprise for both of us! Lucy met us in the morning and we went straight to the river. It was such a gorgeous and enjoyable ride and she was so pleasant and relaxed the whole way through. She gave us some simple tips on kayaking and also some nice information on some of the wildlife and history of the area. When we reached Lake Ossipee the wind was very strong which made the lake very choppy and her lead was so assuring in the challenge that lay ahead of us - she was awesome and we made it to the other side of the lake without any issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend Lucy if you want to experience a great day outdoors in the White Mountains

I had heard there were gorges & caves to explore different from other trails nearby along with beautiful pines and waterfalls. It exceeded all my expectations! It says this is a 1 mile loop hike but be prepared- I walk a 5k daily & this trail kicked my butt in a good way. It was moderately challenging- I went in the rain so it was a bit cooler too. The best advice I could offer is to take a backpack with snacks, another jacket just in case (although i layered up), pack rain pants to help keep me warm in the rain, and shoes with good traction. And plenty of water. Beanies may also be a good option to keep your head warm from the cold. And a portable battery. Also, if you haven't traveled with a car like me..then the Shuttle Connection is a life saver to travel in town. Way cheaper than Uber and fairly quick to transport you wherever you want to go. Also for travelers go back and forth to other states travel by bus is the perfect and most affordable way to travel. This trail offered amazing views, great photo ops, and plenty of additional trails to explore. They also make sure to keep everything maintained and safe for hikers exploring. Everything is well labeled and easy to follow. They do say and I can attest- travelers who have difficulty walking or have walkers etc..this may not be an ideal trail. Also, for younger children this may not be an kdela hike because of how extensive the elevation is. You are climbing a mountain and waterfall elevation. Make sure to look up details on their trail before you plan a trip. But well worth the hike :)

All of our guest commented on how beautiful the winery itself was, and from the moment they arrived the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and elegant--exactly what we hoped for as we kicked off our wedding weekend. The team at Seven Birches was outstanding. They were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. We opted for a wine and cider tasting, and the staff was very friendly and made sure the entire process was easy and seamless, allowing us to truly enjoy the night with our loved ones. The wine and cider were both amazing, and after the tasting most guests stayed to have another glass. In addition to our welcome party, Mark and the team at Seven Birches also helped us create our own red blend and white blend for the wedding, complete with personalized labels and everything. Not only did this help us create our own special touch for the wedding, but also it was a great opportunity for my husband and I to learn more about the wine making process and all the intricacies of what goes into it. We had a great time and our wine turned out delicious! Whether you are considering visiting Seven Birches Winery just for fun or for any event, we cannot recommend it highly enough. The team helped us create the perfect start to our celebration and a memory we will cherish forever.

In the summer and fall there is an entrance fee of $18. There's a small entrance area, that has a ticket hut, similar to a fair or fun park. In the winter and spring... free, if you dare hike in on your own. I would suggest snow shoes or micro spikes, maybe even crampons. It's about a two mile trek, and you can do it, either counter clockwise or clockwise. We did it backward, mid winter. It was so awesome. You could hear the water rushing fast and cold, under the snow. Be very careful with your footing, while making your way through this hike! The covered bridges are beautiful, again , in every season, but there is something so special about hiking with a snow-globe effect. The colors in fall, are also a must see. In summer and fall, the tourists are not easy to get through. They clog the area entirely and there is very little room to get around. The trail has a visitor area that has lots of information about the park and the area. It has nice and clean restrooms, that are accessible. The parking lot is very large, and a small bridge over the water way makes it handicapped accessible as well. The busy season sees some snacks and drinks in the area if need be. There's a half way mark, with another little place, that has bathrooms, as well. It's a really wonderful place to spend a few hours. No dogs allowed, which is a bit of a bummer to be honest, but I guess I understand why. If you're in the area, I suggest you stop, especially if you've never visited it before !!

A beautiful mid 19th century farmhouse situated on a quiet, rural dirt road with woods behind the house and breathtaking mountain views from the front porch. You can definitely understand why Frost loved spending his summers here with his family. A good portion of the house is closed off and used as a private residence; it was explained to us that they use it for a poets-in-residency program, meaning that they select a poet to live in the house each summer as a way to give them space and time to concentrate on their work. The part of the house that is open to the public is filled with artifacts including photos, newspaper clippings, old samples of Frost's writing and even original furniture. There's also a barn on the property where they hold a variety of workshops for poetry and the arts, and have poetry collections from some of the poets they've hosted for sale. There is also a short trail in the woods behind the house featuring signs reading some of Frost's works. There is a small, reasonable admission fee. I will also say that I don't think you necessarily have to be a big fan of Robert Frost to appreciate this place and the history of it. So if you're in the area and you have an hour or so to kill, it might be worth stopping by The Frost Place.
