If I could give no stars for this location I would. Dealing with Tyrone has been a nightmare. After dropping off a sample flyer/menu of something I needed graphic design done, I was not only mislead but left with nothing but a passed due deadline. Tyrone assured me he would have the quote/proof by Fri 5/19 only to send me an email on 5/22 stating the proof would be available on 5/24. I called to ask Tyrone about the delay, he really offered no explanation outside of their process is which was already missed. I ended up calling Alphagraphics in Chandler and the sweet lady explained Alphagraphics is independently owned and each location sets their processes. They were able to get a 24hr turn around for my proof which which helped but I was still delayed 24hrs (no fault of this location) if you have to choose a graphic design location, steer clear of this site on Elliott unless you have ample time to provide them. I am probably what most print shops and graphic designers consider "difficult", because I have very minimal artistic talent, virtually no graphics design experience, and very vague design ideas, yet my expectations for the finished product are very high and exacting. I have used the Alphagraphics on Elliot Rd in Tempe, AZ for several years and for a wide variety of projects and I would say that they have evolved from a 3+ STAR store a few years ago to a 5-STAR location over the past year or two. I previously worked for a government agency and used this Alphagraphics and now own a consulting business and continue to use their services. Eric Adams (eadams@alphagraphics.com) is the General Manager and he is the person I've worked most closely with. He is very patient, very meticulous and very thorough as are all of the staff @ this AG location. I have changed my mind on specifications while projects were in design or even in production and Eric has been very understanding and easy to work with and never hesitated to correct my errors or make changes. On a new project, we sit down and go over what I want. He then asks what I hope to achieve with my print materials and who my target audience is and then he offers ideas and variations that invariably lead to creation of a product that is exponentially better than what I had envisioned and always ahead of schedule. My business is 20 miles away and I could choose another company or even another Alphagraphics location, but I don't mind traveling from NW Phoenix to SE Tempe when I need to in order to get the best service and the best product; which I get at the Elliot Road Alphagraphics in Tempe, AZ. read more

After a few successful projects, I was sooooo hopeful that I FINALLY found a printer that was fast, efficient and reasonably priced. My hopes were shattered. New project: after sending over my info, attachments and needs via email twice, I heard nothing. Crickets. After a phone call to them and confirming that they got my email, I heard nothing. Crickets. So next new project: a banner. Maybe my last experience was a fluke. Sent over all the info, gave them a call and confirmed they recieved my email. Again, nothing. Crickets. I obviously never had it made there, but I did get an email response 3 weeks later (I'm not exaggerating) Boo. I have since found another printer....good help is hard to find and unfortunately, you won't find it here. read more

I've usually had good experiences here, 90% of the time. Last time they fell on their face for me. When I dropped off my proof to be printed, they said "We'll have a proof tomorrow for you".......annnnnddddddd.......a week later after I had to call I finally call for it. In my panic to have my print as quick as I could get it, my friend recommended a website that I can print for $8 and take it to a competitor and print for $1.30. Well, everything I print now will be online, sorry A.G.......it's that one little customer service slip up that makes you lose business. read more

This AG location's responsiveness is truly abysmal. I used them on five separate occasions - two projects had very delayed replies to RFQs, one had a missed deadline, and one received no response at all before the (very lenient) deadline lapsed. Poor service is the rule and not the exception here. read more

Eric and his team helped me with promotional plastic cups and business cards. I tried to save a little money by originally going through an online company for the cups - complete waste of money and time. Not only were the cups Eric printed of better quality, they were cheaper than the online company. I plan on utilizing Eric in the near future for several other promotional items. Doesn't match my exceptions. Half of my prints came out too small than the required sizes and the pictures were little pixelated even though the DSI was excellence. It as if as they were rushing to get it done and/or just plainly doesn't care about customers' wishes. Ironically, they got my prints right at the first visit. Don't think I'll be return again. read more

I tried to print and bind two books in 6 copies for a design studio project. I gave them the colorful file just with the first three pages black and white on a last Tuesday and they gave them to me on last Friday morning in BLACK and WHITE in All pages! ------They never run through your file! ---then they started doing the reprinting for me, and told me I will receive their call on Monday to pick up my books. But no one called me on Monday. ----So I called them, Heather told me they are going to be done anytime before 17:00. ----However no one called me back. So, I waited and waited, today is Wednesday. I called them in the afternoon, they said it is still binding. And they will send it to me before 6. Finally I got them at 9.30 in the night. But it turns out to be binded in the wrong side. I still respect Heather sending them to me so late after their business hours. But I can't use them for the original purpose since they are bind on the wrong side... read more
