They gave me the best quote on a battery replacement for a v60 which I want to fix for someone special. And I went and spoke with a guy and he was well-rounded and we discussed many things which tell me a lot about him and the money is the most important thing actually if I can get it all together I would actually spend 10 to 20 more to try to find a battery with 500 to 2,000 more mah capacity and seals which are better to ensure the ip68 rating is retained. And I intend to possibly find a second screen case 450 to $80 unused online I saw recently so it's going to be an investment of the 70 plus maybe 10 to 20 more plus 50 to 80 for the second screen in case and it will revive a phone which was possibly LG's best ever. And this guy also attempted to help people with low income by undertaking an endeavor with the ACP and it's too bad that he fell upon a bad company. But you can tell like some companies he didn't make much if anything off of it but probably lost money. That's too bad cuz this looks like an excellent business for fort wayne. I'm excited to tell others and if I can get a couple more of these t h i n q the g8x or v50 or v60 or legendary or the velvet. This would be the place to take your devices. And the guy has a honesty which smacks of something where if he doesn't know he will tell you but this is the sort of person where don't be disheartened if he doesn't know exactly everything about everything because no one does but when someone is honest that like that you know that they will learn what is required and do it the best way. Yeah take my vote as a five instead of a four because I'm sure I'll feel that way after doing business with them. And you likely will also. The phone had been working just fine, and I only wanted to be proactive in getting it fixed. Fast-forward three days after their repair, and the same lens is cracked again, despite no drops, bumps, or accidents. I took it back, assuming a business with "CPR" in the name might stand by their work. Wrong. They claimed the crack was due to a "puncture" and refused to honor their warranty, even though I had done absolutely nothing to cause damage. I asked what good a warranty is if it doesn't cover a repair that clearly didn't hold up, and they basically shrugged it off. Honestly, I would have been better off keeping the original, lightly cracked lens than paying for a replacement that failed within days. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. After Google search, I deduced that the ink absorber needed to be replaced. Fort Wayne Printer, Copier & Fax was the only place I could find to order this part on-line. I called the company and asked if they were still able to get this part as it was an older machine. They said they would look into it and get back to me. Kevin called me back within a few hours. He took the time to talk with me and said, although the absorber was available, the flush tank would not be and that part would likely go out, too. He also explained that disassembly and assembly of the machine would not be easy. He did offer to copy the instructions should I decide to replace the part. Kevin gave me his honest opinion on a simpler fix that would get a few more copies from the machine (just so I could use up my newly purchased ink). After 20 years, it is probably better just to replace the machine. I believe I'll use up the ink I have and look for sales. Thank you Kevin!
