Jordan patiently explained all that had to be done, and gave us a few different scenarios and pricing of depending on what he found as he dismantled and tried to fix the spa. Access to the repair area was extremely tight and difficult which made his job even harder. Of course, it turned out to be the worst case scenario; despite the price we decided to fix it. (the alternative would have been a new spa) Due to the fact that we were in no huge rush to fix it, Jordan patiently worked on it after a full day of work for over a week. He was patient, respectful and professional. After a week of work, her finally got her up and running. I'm sure this job ended up being much more difficult than he had anticipated....but he did a great job fixing it. We just had Jimi with So Cal Custom Pools and Spa re-do our old plaster pool. I had 5 different…read moreestimates from 5 separate contractors. Some were large corporations and some smaller operations. Most estimates came in very close in price. To me price was not the number one factor, after reading reviews and talking to people in the industry, we chose to go with So Cal Custom Pools. I was very impressed with Jimi and how everything from start to finish was handled. Little things to me are important, like show up when you say you will, complete a job to the best of your ability. Jimi showed up every time when he said he would, the pool was completed on time and looks amazing. I would always know when someone was coming to the house, I received either a call of text prior to someone showing up. We started with demo, the demo crew removed all the old plaster, tile and cooping, when the crew was completed the yard was swept and cleaned after. Everything looked clean and the crew took pride in the work. Next we had the tile and coping installed. I did have 2 small change orders. I changed the water feature and had the tile guys do a little more work than was originally expected. This was the only increase to the pricing and everything else came out exactly as expected. Once the tile and coping were installed the pebble was installed. The crew showed up and completed this in the morning. As soon as the plaster was completed we started to fill the pool immediately. The pictures of my pool filters combined with Westin's email records confirmed that he had not cleaned my filters IN OVER A YEAR at the time I terminated his services a week ago. I never solicited or hired Westin in the first place; My pool account had been sold to Westin from the previous pool guy. I couldn't terminate him fast enough after this last go round with algae in my pool and my repeated request over several weeks of Westin to do more than just pour a double portion of chlorine in the pool.
