Nothing will ever be same since the pandemic but come on almost $60 for a plain manicure/pedicure and all the extras that they tried to upsell you end up leaving with an 80 or $90 total let alone the tip. I was also told by a veteran of that shop that if I didn't like the job that she did to go somewhere else and that was after I gave her a $20 tip. Feel bad leaving this review because the ladies are nice. While my finger nails are very short, it hasn't kept me from getting regular manicures at other places where my nails have come out looking polished and cleaned up. Here, it looks like a manicure I did myself. I'm going to take it off once I get home and just put on a clear coat. You can also see my toe nails- one of the big ties has a bumpy finish but they insisted it was smooth. Plus, the cuticles look messy too. For my fingers, I had to ask to get the polish cleaned off from around the nail. Tried Alpha nails because it was so close to my house but i don't know if I'd come here. I just left alpha nails with my Mom. We both had a pedicure and gel manicure. All the women were great and I highly recommend all of them! My Mom has Dementia and Jennie gave her so much love. This post is mostly for the experience my sister had. My experience was great with the ladies that helped me with a mani and pedi. I would rate them a 4.9. The lady that was supposed to help my sister gets a negative 2. I had scheduled (days in advance) an appointment on 1/14 for me and my sis to come to the salon to get our nails done at 9am (right when they open). We had an event a few hours after and didn't want to be rushing. I was assisted at the time starting with a pedicure and then 20 mins later another lady started my nails. The lady that was supposed to help my sis with a full set still hadn't not shown. She didn't end up showing up until after 9:45. When she showed up, there was no sense of urgency, no apology from her, no acknowledgement. My sister was over waiting at that point and decided against doing her nails. It was very disappointing and rude to have to experience that on my sister's behalf. It's one thing to be late, but the worst part was that you could tell that lady didn't care at all. She went to the back and was eating her breakfast and never acknowledged us or apologized. Maybe she shouldn't be working in a service industry. Worst eyebrow wax ever! First thing I said was, 'I do not want them too thin' 'oh, that's okay' she replied. The 'tail' of my left eyebrow was completely removed and on the right very thin. I have natural arches, she took both off and went too low on the left, now I'm uneven. The whole time telling me how some girls just don't have the 'tails' or are uneven and need to draw them on. Honestly..... This place really disappointment me... as nice as the ladies are in there I went in there (not my normal go to) because covid had my place closed temporarily to get a pedi.... I always get a Gel pedi and have never once in my life paid over $30-35$ for a pedi.... is that normal for you guys?? Because once she finished polishing me she told me my total was $71!!! That's right$71 for a GEL PEDICURE I looked down at her phone where she was calculating my price and her phone calculator said $61 so I double checked with her and said you said $71?? Not $61 ?? She said oh no it's $71.... I was soooo confused as to why it could be $71 for my toes to be painted I didn't even get anything fancy done either. She proceeded to have me Venmo her which I thought was sketchy because they must not be allowed to be open that's why they didn't want me to charge my card on their machine. I paid and moved on. Then... not even a week into having them done, 5 of my nails are completely missing polish. No they didn't just chip! They peaked right off. So now my toes look like a whacky mess and I don't want to go get them redone and my regular place for atleast a month because I just paid $71 for it to last a month or more and they're pretty much all gone and really ugly... so sad. Don't recommend going there. I'm not sure what polish they use but it must have gold in it to charge $71. But wait it leaks off so must not be gel either. read more

I can't believe this place... I have given them so many tries... truly disappointed on so many things. Over charge on everything, try to charge you if you have a pointed nail so much more. Try to charge you to trim your nails during pedicure. Also saw the lady use the same foot scrubbed on another lady right after me! I tried this place because it was in the same shopping I needed to do some errands in. First off right when I walked in I should have just went back out because there was no air conditioner on in the place and it was quite warm and stuffy inside. There was not a good variety of colors to choose from, most were the same color. The lady that did my pedicure did an ok job but when it came for the massage she literally only rubbed my feet for 2 minutes and 36 seconds (yes I timed it). Then lastly they do not let you tip on with your card and charge you a dollar to use your card. They are more expensive then most places then charge more to use your card. The lady saw this upset me so only then did she offer me a free water or soda. Not impressed with this place. read more

She assured me that it was. I sat down and another lady started my pedicure, removed my polish and started filing. She then asked if I wanted callous removal, and said it was an additional charge. WHAT?!??? She wouldn't honor the price the first woman quoted me, and showed me a price chart, arguing that it was an additional charge. So I told her to go ahead. I mean, that's the whole reason I was getting a pedicure. Then I had to ask her to go over the callous on my toe again because she just left it. My tech was constantly on her phone too. What these ladies didn't know is that I've been a licensed manicurist for 29 years. I just moved and haven't found a new spa to work in because of Covid. Bottom line...don't go here. read more

They were rather fast with my nails, didn't spend much time massaging and didn't make any effort to speak to me at all. Even if I had a question, they kind of blew me off. On top of that their prices are higher than other places in the area. It just sucks because they are really close to my house and it would've been awesome to have this as my go-to nails place.
