Went to this nail bar at the suggestion of a friend and let me tell you, I will NOT be returning. The facility was very clean and they did seem to follow very strict Covid protocols. However, I was so unhappy with my nails. They were extraordinarily thick, not the shape I had requested, and began lifting within a week's time. I even had an acrylic tip completely snap off! These nails felt VERY unnatural on my hands because of how thick the acrylic was. For 40 dollars (before tip) and a 20 minute drive, I certainly expected more. read more

I recently went to get get my nails done Alpha Nails. I just wanted a simple design of daisies on my nails for a manicure for my prom nails and it turned out to look like this...It looks like fried eggs and nothing like the reference photo. My friends also went to the salon and had a very good experience here and their nails turned out well but I'm confused as to why mine did not work out and confused the lady did not tell me that she could not complete the look that I had ask for. Not only am I disappointed that my manicure did not turn out well but my pedicure was also very bad. She cut my toe nails down wayyyy too far and left them swollen and inflamed. I am very disappointed with this service and will be asking for a refund. read more

This place was really expensive for what I got. My mani and pedi were rushed (my friend started before me and finished well after me despite the fact that we were receiving the same service). The nail technician didn't smooth my calluses and my heels are still rough - I would have booked a polish change if I didn't want my feet to be soft! The waxing room is tiny and the waxer did a poor job of waxing my legs. I don't think it was entirely her fault - the chair is basically an armchair so I needed to hold my own legs up in order for her to get the back. Also, the cotton balls she used to clean off my legs disintegrated and stuck to me leaving little bits of fluff everywhere. We came at 4pm on a Saturday and they were out of nearly every beverage. They also only offered me one 8oz bottle of water the entirety of the 2.5 hours I was there! I definitely don't feel like I got my money's worth. If I'm paying upscale salon prices, I expect upscale salon facilities (not a waxing room where the waxed literally can't maneuver around) and upscale service. read more

I love alpha nails bar. Lived in Boston, NYC, and Philly, and have tried many a nail salon. Alpha is clean, spacious, and all of the staff are kind and courteous. Never had a manicure or a pedicure I didn't like from Cindy or Kim. Also, the dip manicures I have gotten there have allowed my nails to grow and be the healthiest they have been in my life. Can't recommend them enough! I have to split the difference on my star rating. I've been going here regularly for about a year. On the whole, the staff are great, it's cute and clean. BUT there's always that one person who drags the place down. Teresa is terrible. The first two times I thought maybe she was just having a rough day, but for the third time now she has left my cuticles and under beds knicked and bleeding. I literally had to come home and slather my fingertips in Neosporin. I'm starting to wonder if it's personal or if she truly is this bad at the job. So the salon gets 5 stars, Teresa gets 1 star. Until they move her off mani service, the reputation of the salon overall will continue to suffer. She's consistently bad to the point of inflicting harm--on customers as well as the business. read more

i don't understand why they were so confused on why i didn't like them. i expressed nicely that i didn't like them and just would much rather do a color since i know french can be tricky. the nail tech got upset with me and stormed off, the manager said i would need to come back in 2 hours to get them redid. the nails with clearly bumpy, didn't even bother to cut my cuticles, left nail glue and acrylic all over my nail. i think if you are paying $40+ it should be worth that type of money. so disappointed i'm not coming back theres so many better nail salons skill and customer service wise. read more

So I have been going to Alpha Nails for a while now. And each time I go, I make an appointment before hand with Sasa. She is super sweet and always makes sure I am happy before I leave there. Now a little of a back story, I had started doing to Alpha during COVID & the pricing was a little more expensive then others. So, I ventured off & tried a few nail salons in Worcester and was never fully happy so after some time away I returned back to Sasa. Thank god. Because as you can see in the pictures attached, she does an amazing job. I recently had almond/stiletto & then this last set I took them off & got a new full set with coffin & she was totally okay with it. I didn't get that feeling of thinking she was upset with me at all... so I will 100% spend the extra money for walking out of there happy! ANDDD if I DID have an issue, because things happen, the staff is very nice about it and makes it right. read more

Lovely atmosphere, upscale feeling salon. It felt clean and sanitary, which is hugely important. I had the first appointment of the day. My tech was Shasha (I am sure I didn't spell that correctly). She was friendly and pleasant. I went in for a manicure and pedicure before a trip. The pedi was one of the best I have ever had. No accidental nips with clippers, no odd nail shapes due to lack of attention, etc. Most times I won't bother with the mani because I know the polish will chip well before my trip is over. I very rarely have a mani that lasts more than three days before I have to change it out. I threw caution to the wind and did it this time, bringing a back-up color with me, just in case I needed creative touch-ups. By day 5 there was the tiniest bit of wear on the edge of one nail. No chips. I threw a small edge of the "back-up" polish along the edge of that nail just to keep things together for the last couple of days. Shasha is a magician, and I'm not sure I will see anyone else. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! The worst customer service-triple book. I had a 9:15 pedi scheduled w/ Lynn this mornin, last evening I rec'd a text indicating she would be in a little late and could I do 9:40. I said yes and indicated it would be tight time wise tho. I arrived at 9:40 and checked in. At 9:50 I asked if Lynn was in and was told by the girl at the desk she was and she was in the back to give her a few minute. 5 minutes later I explained the situation which she appeared unaware of?! She went to the manager and she hustled she to a chair and turned the water on. it's now 10 and I asked where Lynn was and she told me she was finishing a quick polish. it was at that point I saw Lynn across the room massaging a customer's feet!! I said she's not finishing up, she's in the middle of a massage and again asked about my initial 9:15 appointment that they rescheduled stated Lynn would be coming in late! clearly she was over booked and was actually there at 9:15 giving another pedicure. not one employee offered to rectify the situation and acknowledge their screw up and deceit and for wasting my time!!! DO NOT give this place your money as that is ALL they are interested it!!!!!! read more

I've been getting my nails done here since December of 2020. It's so clean and professional aswell! I haven't gotten anything too out there just basic acrylics with a solid color last few times I have been. The nail tech nail tech that was available today and did my nails was named Sasa. Just had the best pedicure and foot massage I've ever had! Also tried reflexology for the first time. Great price for the experience.

I was really excited that this place opened right down the street from my house so I went in for a pedicure(no wait time at all, which was nice) I chose a collagen pedicure and it was not great. The woman who did my pedicure didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. The water was only Luke warm, she kept cutting into my skin, she bareeely took care of my calluses on my heels, I wasn't offered a drink and it took her like 15minutes to put the nail polish on. I'm giving 3 stars because she was nice and the salon looks beautiful inside, plus one of the managers checked on me. Hoped to be blown away and make this my new favorite salon but I'm not sure now. read more

The place is not responsible for its clients but they are responsible to try to provide a relaxing atmosphere. This morning a male brought his mother or someone in for services. He sat down in a pedicure chair (he did not have any services for himself) and proceeded to make multiple phone calls. He was wicked loud and very annoying. I know it's not the salon's fault, but I didn't understand why the gentleman working the counter didn't politely ask the annoying non-customer to take his conversation outside It was just awful. Several other customers were rolling their eyes or commenting. It took what would have been a relaxing event and made it terrible. I also think it's bad that they won't allow you to tip with a credit card. Makes you wonder why doesn't it?? read more

There are a TON of colors to choose from and plenty of people working. I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes to get my nails or toes done.
